Cotes Mechanical

We are very happy with the experience we have had with Cote's Mechanical so far. Everyone we have worked with has been very friendly and professional: the technician who diagnosed our problem, Cody and Foster in Sales and Finance, the two gentleman who installed our new HVAC unit and the office staff who answered my follow up questions. We were also very impressed with the turnaround time. We filed a claim with our AHS (home warranty) on Monday morning. Cote's had a technician at our house the following afternoon (ten minutes EARLY). That evening, Cody came to explain our options of repair vs replace, including financing if we were to replace the unit. The next morning, two technicians arrived at 10:30 AM and worked until they finished the HVAC install at 6:30 PM. We were without A/C for less than 30 hours once the leak was detected. In Texas, this is crucial and impressive! I was going to give 4 stars instead of 5 because I didn't feel the costs for financing was explained well, and we weren't handed anything on paper. However, I will admit, I was heat drunk when all of it was explained to us, so it could have just gone right over my head at the time. Everything was digital, which is nice but also challenging. After I had a chance to review the paperwork that was emailed to me, I realized how much we'd agreed to pay in finance charges ($6500) by choosing 6.99% over 12 years vs 0% over 60 months, I was very mad at myself for not paying better attention and asking more questions about that. I contacted Cody and Foster by email, and even though Cody was technically not working at the time, he called me within 15 minutes of me sending the email to answer my questions and help change our financing. Great customer service!

The installation team was on time and professional, and also willing to answer any of my questions.

We had Cote’s Mechanical come and diagnose a problem with our AC systems, as they were diagnosing the problem they suggested to maybe get the air ducts clean, wish I said I will think about it. Later that day I open the vents myself and being that I live in a newer house I notice the ducts were very clean, so did not consider something I needed it anymore. Cotes was schedule to come and actually fix the problem they diagnose broken, when they call they said that they will be there between 1 and 3 and they did, they never told my wife who was the one who was there at the time that they were going to also clean the air ducts, later they ask my wife for $650, but she ask them who authorize the air duct work they keep saying that we did but was not true at all, they actually did not even fix the original problem with the excuse that they were given the wrong part. Lots of miscommunication between their techs and their management, but the customer should not be paying for services that we don’t need, and BTW, they say they clean all the ducts in the downstairs but not true only a few rooms were clean. They threaten my wife with putting a lien on my house for service not paid but they didn’t finish what they says they have done even we did not ask for the ½ service the did.

Very well, replaced ac next day. Contacted them on Friday, met with sunday and job was completed monday.

I just wanted to say what a life saver the folks at Cote's Mechanical are! My AC went out on the July 4th Holiday weekend. The units were 15 years old, and were incredibly inefficient, and were literally falling apart. One call, and Cody was at my house in an hour, going over all my options. I never once felt pressured, and Cody explained everything in a very simple, but also detailed manner. He had a crew of about 12 guys over at my house the very next morning, Again, it was a holiday weekend.These awesome guys worked their tails off in the heat for 7hrs! I am now enjoying the cool air in my upstairs office as I type this review. Bottom line, Cote's Mechanical is awesome, and I highly recommend them!! Great job guys!!!

Was very pleased with the entire process. Cotes provided quick, efficient and professional service.

From the point of initial service contact, to meeting with the sales person for possible solutions, to installation, every Cotes representative was professional, informative, thoughtful and thorough. Every question we had was answered, in detail, and with each person, the answers were consistent and complete. During the installation, the crew was respectful and thorough, busy the whole time. After the install was complete, the lead man walked through with each crew set, and reviewed their check points, and inspected the finished product. We could not have been better served!

I would highly recommend them, their prices are good. They are very professional!

Had to call my Home Warranty Company due to the downstairs A/c not cooling. Cote's was dispatched and after the repairman did his analysis he informed me in great detail of what the issues were with my system. Since it looked like I might have to replace some hardware Foster came out that night to go over the various options of what we could do and the whole while I never felt pressured. I decided to replace the 2 air handlers and the 2 attic units. This decision was made @ 8pm at night and foster(by the way have him sing you the seatbelt song) reassured me that his crews could be out tomorrow and complete the job. And sure enough the 2 crews showed up the next day and did an excellent job of removing the old units and installing the new ones. I was very impressed with how polite , respectful and professional the guys were. I felt so comfortable with them I left with the kids and went and saw a movie. But as promised they finished the job in one day, cleaned up after themselves and I had a nice cool house that night. Outstanding Work Cote's Mechanical!!!!

Great, they came out next day of my phone call. Checked out the old system, confirmed what another company told me. Took time to explain the situation and went over my options. Explained the units they have and the prices they offer. Came back the next day, which was a Sunday and installed my new a/c unit. The installation went smoothly and the workers were very professional.

Sales responded to the call in a timely manner Saturday afternoon. Cost was a bit shocking but they had options to handle cost. Once agreed they were able to do the work the next. Installation was done on a Sunday so we didn't have to miss any work. Techs where professional and clean. They did leave a few items/tools at the house. I call to notify them of the items and nobody has returned to pick them up. As of now I am happy with the purchase.

THE TECHS WERE VERY POLITE. THEY WORKED QUICKLY & HAD THE INSTALL DONE IN ABOUT 6 HOURS.

I contacted my home warranty company on Wednesday, May 11th and within an hour received a call from Amy with Cote's Mechanical in Sanger, TX. She immediately had an appointment available for me the next day however due to my schedule I had to defer it to Saturday, the 14th. Jason came right on time Saturday afternoon after I got home from work and didn't waste any time in diagnosing what I already knew in that my A/C system which was the original system from when the home was built in 1998 was finished! After performing last rites he scheduled a meeting the next day with Foster Lanham who met me after church Sunday afternoon and was very prompt and thorough in his explanation of their company and the different options available to me. He had his men scheduled to come out the very next day, today, Monday May 16th, first thing in the morning. Alex and Nick were both very professional and courteous. They arrived a little after 9am and were finished before 3pm. Efficient, excellent and clean and explained all the workings of the new system. I'm looking forward to it being more efficient and have already recommended them to my neighbor who came over while the guys were installing the system. He said his original system is also barely hanging on and I recommended that he use Cotes when the time comes for a new system.

The sale and installation went very well. No problems on the financial part. The salesman was very pleasant and knoweable of the system we bought. The system took 9 nine hours to install. The installers were very professional and pleasant. I highly recommend Cotes Mechanical.

Installation went great no problems unit is doing what it should, they did everything they said they would and workers were very respectable and did a great job.

Very professional. Laid out the facts so an informed decision could be made. No pressure. Pleasure to deal with. Arrived on-time, took excellent and respectful care of my belongings and property.Top-notch installation job. Cleaned up afterwards and left me with a smile on my face.

My entire experience with Cote's Mechanical was a pleasure. On Thursday I placed a service call with my home warranty company and they sent out Cote's Mechanical to look into an issue with my heat pump. The appointment was made for Saturday (they tried to come out the next day but I was unavailable) and the technician (Jason) showed up when he said he would and found the problem. My system was 10+ years old so he told me what needed to be repaired and what that would cost and an estimate of what would be out-of-pocket. He also told me what purchasing a new system would entail and the benefits of upgrading. I elected to hold off on the repair and he said someone would contact me with more information. Foster called me that day and set up an appointment to come and give me information on a new system. He came out Monday and gave me several options and explained the rebates and the finance options and emailed me the line item list for each option. I called Tuesday and told him I had decided to replace my system and which option I had decided on. Wednesday morning at 9am the crew from Cote's Mechanical was there with my new system! They were professional and polite and worked very fast. When they left 4.5 hours later, I had a completely new system, a new carbon monoxide detector and a new programmable thermostat (and a tutorial on the thermostat). Purchasing a new heating/cooling system is a huge financial decision and Foster and Jason made me feel confident that I had made the right decision to choose new technology and let them handle the install. I will, without reservation, recommend them to anyone I know who needs repair or replacement.

Real friendly and courteous and done a god job

Chris and Mike came to the house the next day for the installation on time. I was told exactly what they would be doing. Plastic was laid down on the carpet to avoid any dirt being track inside. Chris replaced the outside unit while Mike worked inside. Everything was replaced as agreed to in a very timely fashion. The air handler was replaced, along with the compressor unit. The guys were told that this was going to be a tight spot to work in but was pleasantly surprised that there was more room that they expected. They had to modify the inside a little bit but did not have any problems. Once completed, all of the old pieces were loaded onto their truck, the plastic was rolled up, and they explained to me exactly how the unit was going to work. The new unit is nice and quiet. We can hardly hear the fan run. Even the outside unit is much quieter. Mike and Chris were both very polite and courteous. They were nice enough to bring in a large fan to help circulate the air. It was quite warm to hot in the house at that time. They were very professional and had to deal with me asking questions. (I was curious on how everything was being put together but also tried to stay out of their way ) When they left, the temperature in the house was dropping and by the evening, all was pleasant again. I am looking forward to my first real electric bill since the install to see the savings.

We scheduled Cote's through American Home Shield, so the $75.00 was our co-pay. I do not know what a capacitor normally goes for. Cote's Mechanical contacted us within 24 hours of our contacting AHS (on a Sunday no less!) and scheduled an appointment for the next day. The technician showed up on time (early, actually) and immediately diagnosed the problem. He replace the central air capacitor, and the AC immediately started cooling.

They did great, very quick to put together the package and was at the house the next morning to install 2 new units. The team had to work in the sweltering hot July heat. They cleaned up after themselves and showed instructions on how to operate thermostats. Very friendly and accomodating to our time frame.

called American Home Services on Sunday, Cotes sent out a tech on monday, we priced a system and it was fully installed and working by 4pm tuesday. Very prompt service, very clear communications and they made sure it was a copacetic before they left.

They did a wonderful job! Very kind and professional, clean install, showed how to work system. Sent out a tech to help us make sure we were setting the system correctly the same day we called for service. They had all components needed at time of services so we didn't have to reschedule anything. Very honest and professional company!
