I came across them through Home Shield and they waved the deductible. The only experience I had with pricing is the maintenance contract. It gets me two visits and the agreement waived the $100 deductible.

Came out to do a furnace yearly tuneup. Great attitude, gave tips on avoiding future issues, and great price.

They gave some very handy tips to extend unit life. Also gave me very practical advice on necessary vs. unnecessary services. Plan on using them more extensively soon.

Work done was fine. Having to take an extra day for their return trip was dumb. Why can't an air conditioning company come prepared for related work, especially when I described it fully and sent pictures?! So, instead of me taking 1 day of vacation to get this accomplished, I had to take 2. No big deal... huh? My time is worthless. I'm just the customer. Then, their business office is stupid-hard to contact. Their answering machine is FULL and so you have to call back. (Another example of customer neglect). Really? 9am and you can't talk to a person in the office? Sorry, but a business needs to be run like a business, not have the family teenager working the phone and getting paid to be on her cellphone instead.

Went great, they added some Freon, greased and lubed, and looked over the unit.

It was okay. The only thing was that I didn't get a paper report from the people to say that my air conditioner was okay. I didn't get an invoice so I have no way to follow up on the company. If there was some part that needs to be replaced in the short term or long term, it's nice to know that. He mentioned that it was the capacitor and you just want to have a reminder of that. The experience was good. The price was good for the tune up. I thought that was excellent. Responsiveness was very good. They were right on time. They came when they said they were gonna come. I would give them a B on professionalism because I didn't get a invoice or a document telling me the status of my air conditioner. I don't see why I wouldn't use them again.

I bought a "Big Deal" deal where this company would perform an A/C tune up for $49. At the time of purchase I entered 3 dates when they can come and do the tune up. After 3 weeks waiting, realizing that they won't email or call or contact me by any other way, I called in to make an appointment. What I found out is that they would only give me a date when they would come but will not let me know what time until the day before. That means I have to force my boss to let me out at whatever time they told me so I can rush home to wait for them. Either that or I have to take a vacation day off to stay home (that makes the cost of having my A/C serviced equal the pay of my day + $49). When I tried to ask them for a set time block ahead of time (instead of getting it the day before) they said "no way ever". That's the kind of customer service this company provide. If that's a definite requirement that a customer must be able to take off work on one day notice or no service ever then they should have listed that in BOLD so I know not to purchase their deal. Angie's List refuse to refund so I can go and purchase something else either. This is not going well at all. I don't recommend using this company unless your are rich and can take off as you want or rich and don't work at all. As for Angie's List, I am not sure either since I am totally frustrated.

Very well! I asked him to thoroughly check my system, and he provided a recommendation for a preventative repair. Overall, very good service!

Went well. Tech was friendly and clear. Didn't upsell me. Showed me a part that was likely to fail soon, tested it for me. Gave me some future tips for maximizing cooling. Special included 1 lb of coolant. I needed about 3. The added coolant definitely helped right away.

Great! They determine the outside unit needed to be cleaned out on the inside. They did that and everything is working great now!

From the technician who diagnosed our problem, to Cody the sales associate, to the crew who did our installation, everyone at Cote's was prompt, professional, and a pleasure to work with. We have had a few days to enjoy our new system, and I am very pleased that we were able to get a multi stage system installed. It is absolutely silent and works like a dream. I was very pleased that we were able to get the new system installed so quickly, the tech came out on Tuesday, the sales appointment was Wednesday, and the system was installed on Thursday. I feel confident knowing that Cote's is right down the road in downtown Sanger if I need service or maintenance done on my system. The only constructive criticism I have on the entire experience is that I am underwhelmed with the "smart" wifi enabled thermostat that was installed. I was expecting a unit similar to the Ecobee or the Lyric. I was able to connect the Observer thermostat to my iPhone (had to figure it out myself), but it does not work with HomeKit to the best of my knowledge, so I would have to have a separate app on my phone for each "smart" device in my home. The user interface could use an update as well to be more visually appealing. Other than that, we had a great experience and look forward to working with Cote's for all of our HVAC maintenance needs!

We have a warranty company that dispatched cote's to our home for an issue with our central air unit. First guy mis diagnosed the issue 3 times before using his gauges to determine that the system was low on refrigerant. Found a leaking Schraeder valve on the suction side near the compressor. Replaced the valve and charged us $325.00 for freon. 22 days later the system went out again, I spoke with Rebecca and requested that they send a different tech. She told me that she would an senior tech and she was apologetic in the fact that Jeff was not professional. Wife takes off from work to meet new guy and he shows up on a truck with no tools and clearly not ready to repair my unit. He determines that we are not going to just buy a new Ac and sends another guy. 3rd guy shows up and finds a large leak at the compressor on the copper. Makes a repair and the unit worked for 7 days then stopped again. Same senior tech shows up ( I take of work ) to assess the issue and said that the Jeff messed up and didn't back seat a valve and it leaked all the freon out( seems fishy) fills it up and leaves. 2 days later the unit stops working again and he comes back ( wife takes off work ) he tells my wife that he rigged the unit last time and his ghetto repair didn't hold. He says he's going to order the part and be back on Monday, so Tuesday he shows up and replaces the valve. I stopped by and asked him to record the values and supply me with all the previous invoices that he has never provided for us. This repair LASTED 6 HOURS. Our warranty company agrees to send someone else and ( wife takes off another day) and he finds the leak in the coils within 20 minutes in the inside unit. This company has pumped numerous pounds of toxic freon in my house. To think that the state has allowed these guys to obtain and hold a license is amazing.

Everything went very well. Houston arrived on time, and took care of everything in less than an hour. He was very thorough, and walked me through a system-wide appraisal of my AC's functioning, pointing out not only what will need attention in the future, but also what is working well.

From start to finish they were great. I opted to upgrade my AC and furnace to obtain better energy savings and efficiency. From the diagnosis to the sales to the installation they were exceptional. They answered every question I had ( and I had done my homework as knowing my options ahead of time and the general costs involved did help me make my decisions). The installation team was the thorough, prepared and neat. It started pouring about halfway through, and they were careful not to track dirt in. They had to carry all the old and new equipment through my furniture packed house and did so with no nicks or dings. They protected the floors in the work area. I love that quality and service that they offered and supplied. And for full disclosure, they did respond to this as a service call from American Home Shield. However I had had the exact same issue with my AC last year (with a patch applied by a different HVAC company) and my units were 20 years old and very inefficient compared to today's units. I knew what my options were before they came to do the initial diagnosis.

From the start, the employees of Cote Mechanical were professional, courtious, and knowledgeable. We never felt pressured, and felt we had been given a wealth of information to make an educated decision. Once we selected the unit we wanted, they were swift to install, and within 2 days we had a new state of the art A/C unit.

Jason showed up early to come help me out. He inspected the inside and outside components of the HVAC and provided a few pointers. For my outside unit, he honestly explained the red flags that could be potential fixes in the future, but was open about the realities of when I would need to fix them. He also offered advice on routing another vent into our master bedroom. Overall, it was a good experience and he was a really professional guy.

Great service. The technician was on time and professional. He explained how my system worked and what may need service in the near future. Would definitely recommend them.

On 8/22/16 Cotes sent Mike, a nice, young man who really knew what he was doing. And HONEST!! He could have told me a bunch of stuff was wrong and charged more money than the $49.00 deal, but he didn't. He said the only trouble was the condensate drain was plugged and said the flushing and treating of this drain was part of the deal I had already paid for. An honest air conditioning company -- so hard to find!!. Put their phone number (940-458-4980) in my contact list so I'll be sure to use them again. I know I'm somewhat gushing with praise, but I was just so delighted with them. He did all the checks stated on the deal and added a little refrigerant too. Definitely an A++++++ company.

It went well; but! I almost freaked when I saw how many other people had done the same (called AHS for a service/repair and ended up with a very expensive replacement from Cote's) and I immediately thought-scam...and only after I had agreed to pay over $15K! I called Cody, the sales person, and asked "what the...?". Here's what he explained: in reality, by 2020 the expensive and legality of using the refrigerant will be so high that it won't even remotely make sense to not replace units installed prior to 2010...So, it's no scam--and I have two more units to go and soon! The service provided by Cote's was very professional (and clean) and the process was quick and relatively painless besides the shocking price point. My mom has had to call for help in figuring out the newly installed digital thermostat and she gave a glowing review of her experience with the Cote's team. The 10-year warranty and 5-year service plan that came with the $15K+ unit is invaluable and I look forward to a long service relationship with Cote's.

Perfect, they called to schedule the appointment and I was able to have the service done within 48 hours. They called to let me know what time he would arrive, he arrived on time. Did the service, cleared the line and was finished in about an hour. I will use this company again.

I am a AHS customer. Cotes has worked on my 2 units since I purchased the house 1.5 yrs ago. I have replace one unit that cost me $14K. My second unit went out. They sent a tech out 2 days later. He spent less than 10 mins at the house and said it was the fan motor. I had to leave town so my neighbor was set to meet them 2 days later between 2-5 pm. Tech arrived with the wrong part. They made an appointment for the next day between 2-5pm. Tech showed up after 6pm. Tech replaced fan motor and I was told over the phone that all is working fine. I return home 3 days later to find unit not working. I called Cotes back and Service manager came out and found that my blower motor is bad and the outside coil is now leaking where the fan motor was replaced. Mind you this unit is less than 2 yrs old. I was advised this in not a stocked item and it should arrive 3 days later. I have called every day for a week now and the part has finally come in. This is the part I like. I was told that I would receive a call the morning of the repair to set the appointment. I have a full time job and can't be home. I asked for the manager to call me. I was advised he couldn't because he was out of town. I asked for the owner to call me and was told he was out of town. There was no management to speak with. As of now my A/C is still not fixed but I have received an invoice for the $75 service charge.
