The cleaners thought a request to clean a 4 bedroom and 2 1/2 bath meant they only had to clean 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Although I complained to the manager, who said she would look into it, 3 weeks later and nothing has been done. Another company cleaned it in 3hours.
Description of Work: We paid for a 4-hour cleaning for a 4 bedroom and 2 1/2 bathroom house. Three people showed up and smelled like cigarrette smoke. They stayed for less than hour and only cleaned the 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. They did not clean the kitchen, living room, game room or dining room.

The office staff was very polite as were the girls that came to clean our condo. This was a move out clean and the place was not that dirty. The girls did a good job and did what I asked of them. They were late but did work a full two hours. This condo was pretty small and I think $126.00 was a little much for this service based on the size but that is what the special on Angies list was. Next time I will contact the company directly. I will use them again.

They weren't too good. They only brought one worker and she was supposed to work four hours and she only got the kitchen done in four hours, which blew my mind. You're supposed to get more done in four hours.

Did a great job on house cleaning. There was miscommunication on scheduling appt. and they did not show up as scheduled. Had to reschedule appt. Company said they were sending 2 people for 2 hours but they ended up sending 1 person for 4 hours, which worked out because someone was available but if someone would not have been available for the 4 hours I would have had to reschedule again.

The team is learning how I like things done, and learning our home. They started here in March. I had used the company previously as well. Things have gone well and the company as the team that cleans handles any correction very well. Each time they come things get better. It really is important to give a team time to learn a home, what and how you want things done.

WeBe Works is a very nice family oriented business. I love their special touches. They cleaned my house very well with the Angie's List coupon I bought, then I started using them for regular bi-weekly cleaning. ?With 4 dogs, teak wood floors, tons of stainless and tile, they do a wonderful job. I would highly recommend.

different crew most of the time, almost every time called to say that they would be later than expected. Cleaning our house is a big job and I think that they underestimated how much time it would take. Cleaning was sloppy at best. Staff is friendly and tried to help fix the situation but repeat visits ended in the same sub-par results.

Actual work performed is excellent but communication with office personnel is EXTREMELY POOR. Initially I was told I could go ahead and have services performed and pay on an extended credit basis. They then stated later they needed payment at the time services were performed. I brought my account current and gave them my card # to keep on file so services could be paid when performed. Office personnel didn't do this. I find I haven't been billed sometimes for almost a month after work done. Excuses keep being made. I also asked about a project to be done installing shelving. I spoke to office personnel who couldn't process what I was requesting. I kept inquiring about shelving for both living rm and bedroom closets. The person I talked with could only understand (and kept repeating) "this is for your living rm." Several weeks ago I asked that my outside light bulbs be changed when my lawn was mowed. I wanted to leave the bulbs outside for them but I wasn't sure what day they would be able to mow my lawn. I awoke one day to find a call from them on my caller I.D. Office personnel informed me my lawn would be cut that day and they had sent some bulbs as well. I told her I was fine with the ones they had supplied since I wasn't feeling well. I had to leave home later and if they hadn't come by then I would leave mine outside for them. The same person called me right back and stated they were cutting my lawn even as we spoke so I could just give them the CFL bulbs I wanted to use. Even though I was exhausted from working overtime and not feeling well I got dressed and went outside. No one was there. I called back and after several frustrating calls with the same person the result was: lawn had been cut, light bulbs had been replaced and personnel had left SEVERAL HOURS PRIOR. The same person had phoned the workers and told them to come back to my house. They weren't sure why they were there and neither was I. Today (5/12/15) I received an email invoice from them for work that was performed 4/30/15. I phoned and explained that since I had left card on file and asked office personnel not to let the invoices pile up I thought they had been paid. I spoke to office personnel about continued problems with the same office personnel who consistently gets things completely mixed up. She told me she would relay my concerns to the owner and someone would get back to me. I also told her that since I am currently between paydays the payment would now cause I financial problem if I had to pay it prior to my next payday which is next Friday. They responded by deducting the money from my account and when I called back I got the same terrible office personnel that I called to complain about initially. Her excuse is that she tried to run my card twice before but it was declined which I don't believe since the funds were there. She was defensive about the fact they had "been good about extending credit" completely ignoring my request that they OBTAIN PAYMENT WHEN SERVICES RENDERED. This woman is impossible to work with. She is thoroughly incapable of responding appropriately to clients' needs and instead of the owner addressing the problem as I was told she would the same person I have had problems with informed me she had been told about my complaints. Unfortunately this company seems to have workers who are conscientious re: actual work performed but customer service and management of customer complaints are VERY POOR. Management seems indifferent to frustrations provided by office personnel that demonstrate incompetence when dealing with clients.
Description of Work: Initially called because smoke detector was beeping. Even though I called near end of work day someone came out and it took more time than either of us had thought because one of my smoke alarms needed total replacement. He did that includes going to store and purchasing it. He didn't try to charge me additionally for the extra work but I told him to do so because of all the hard work he had put in after hrs. He informed me they offered a variety of services include lawn maintenance. I started having them cut lawn.

After finding this service through Angie?s list and reading the other reviews I contacted them to inquire about housecleaning services.After, speaking with Robert and asking a series of questions he was able convince me they could do the job so I booked an appointment for a team to come clean my house the next day. Robert said they had a list of standard items they clean and I could add to it if need be. He also offered to give me a military discount and that the rate would be cheaper than the special offered on Angie?s list. The next day a team of 2 arrived. One was supposedly a supervisor and he was accompanied by an elderly man who I learned later was his dad. I became immediately concerned because If I am paying by the hour so I would hope that they provide me with someone who could work at a faster pace. They appeared to be professional, had all of their supplies and arrived on time. First thing I was a bit disappointed about is that they attempted to enter my home without removing their dirty shoes. If you are here to clean my home and make it spotless. Why wouldn't you remove your shoes before you enter? I immediately asked them to remove their shoes. The next thing that sent up a red flag is that I was told when I booked the appointment by Robert that they would have a list that they work from and I could take a look at their list and if anything I would like done I could add to it. Well I asked the gentleman where his list and he looked puzzled and confused. He had no idea what I was talking about. He said that they don?t work from any list and I just give him a list of items I want clean. They then said that they don?t have a work list and that I needed to walk them through my home and show them what to clean. I proceeded to walk them through my home and show them what to clean. They didn't write down anything or make notes of what I was pointing out so no naturally I knew they would forget some things since this was the first time they cleaned my house. In addition, they didn't know what I had paid for and he kept asking me how many hours did I purchased. I had purchased 4 hours and that seemed to be plenty of time since they were only cleaning 2 of 4 bedrooms, kitchen and 2 ½ baths. My home is new so we didn't need a deep cleaning on this visit. It seemed to me that they spent most of the 4 hours upstairs cleaning 1 bathroom, dusting and vacuuming. When they started cleaning downstairs where most of the cleaning was needed they started rushing because they wasted most of the time upstairs. The older man was moving at a very slow pace hardly contributing any. The supervisor kept mentioning that they had another job to get to and that they were running over the time limit. He kept saying he was late and that they could do more next time like cleaning my base boards. As they were wrapping up certain areas I checked behind them and there were obvious areas missed so I called it out to the Supervisor?s attention. I asked him did he notice it because I wanted to give him the benefit of doubt and he told me yes but he since he was running out of time he basically skipped it. Areas that they missed were wiping the bathroom cabinets (toothpaste was still visible on the cabinets and sink area), Appliances in kitchen, refrigerator, kitchen trashcan, dusk still visible on dressers in bedroom and my entire ½ bath downstairs. What a joke how do you not clean an entire bathroom. They also attempted to mop around area rugs and I moved the rugs and asked them to mop underneath. They were literally running out my house by the end. They were rushing and it was obvious. Even though I told him that I don?t mind paying for anytime extra they continue to rush and still did a terrible job. Next issue I had with them is I was quoted a rate and once they charged my credit card it was not the rate they quoted. It was more. I called and mentioned that I was supposed to receive a military discount and the lady that handles the invoice says that she had no note or anything on my account about a military discount. She could research it with Robert and contact me back. She contacted me a few days later and told me I was right. They overcharged me and they could cut me a paper check and mail. Why couldn't they simply refund my money back on my credit card? What kind of company is this that has to mail me a paper check? I also expressed to this lady how dissatisfied I was with the services I received and even gave her some examples. She made some excuses and blamed it on the holidays and them being busy. She said that she would make a note and have Robert to contact me. Although she called me back to explain about my refund I have yet to hear back from this man Robert. I would not use this company anymore and certainly would not recommend it to anyone else.

I told you it would be the same price, not cheaper due to the military discount which is 10% -which is the same as the 10% discount offered through the Angie's List deals. 2. Our crews are required to wear closed toe shoes for safety reasons and since the floors are the last thing we do there is generally speaking no reason to be concerned about our staff wearing their shoes into your home. 3. We are an equal opportunity employer and we do not discriminate based on age, gender or any other superficial traits. The man you are referring to as elderly is in his early 60s and a United States Army veteran and has worked with us for a number of years and has received a multitude of compliments on his performance. 4. The cleaners will always ask clients for a tour of their home as to ascertain any special requests necessary. Some of them will take notes; some of them won't- just like if you go to a restaurant and place your order. 5. Things not being completed had to do with the fact that the crew got a late start on your home due to the fact that the crew was waiting for 15 minutes and no one was answering the door. Then they left and turned around when we were finally able to reach you. In addition to the fact it was during the holidays which is one of the busiest times of the year for our crews. 6. The reason Patricia offered to mail you a paper check was because we are in the midst of some accounting changes and there have been difficulties with some operations, such as applying partial refunds to credit cards. 7. I was out of town and so I was unfortunately delayed in getting back to you and I'm very sorry about any perceived indifference you may have felt as a result of that delay. Below is our formal response. I have tried to reach out to you many times in regards to the service that you received on the 30th. Unfortunately I have not been able to get in touch with you and clearly you have no desire to get back to us. I will respond to these issues as thoroughly as I can with the information provided by your review and from the feedback the staff has given me. I will not be getting too specific in regards to some of the items mentioned herein to prevent any embarrassment on your behalf. We understand the holidays with all the joy they bring also bring the added stress of getting your home ready for all of your guests. As such our offices are inundated with work that people need to get done before their gatherings or afterwards. That being said it is necessary for our crews to stay on a pretty tight schedule during this time to make sure that we can properly accommodate the appointments that we have made. The crew and the office attempted to reach you before the crew got there and then after the crew got there, as we couldn't get anyone to answer the door. The crew left and then we heard from you and so we had the crew turn around to return to your home. This put the crew behind by approximately 30 minutes before they even began to clean. When you first called I informed you that you would receive the same price from us as you would for the deal on Angie's List due to the military discount we offer which are both a 10% discount. The crew who went out to your home has years of experience and the man who you refer to as elderly is in his early 60s and a United States Army Veteran and he has worked with the company for years and has received a vast amount of compliments from clients about his performance. We are also an Equal Opportunity Employer and we do not discriminate based on age, gender or any other superficial traits even though some clients do. We charge by time because it is an honest reflection of the work you received. We don't expect people to be sprinting through your home. It reflects in fairer pricing for our clients due to the fact that some visits go faster because the condition of the home is better. In regards to not having a physical copy of the list of items to be serviced, I have e-mailed you that list of what a general cleaning consists of- but cleaning is always a tailored service- as no two clients are the same. So it was just a misunderstanding between the supervisor and yourself in regards to the list. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how much you are willing to pay. We will not inconvenience other clients with no notice because you need more work done than what you requested. If the crew had time, I assure you that they would have been more than happy to provide you with the necessary amount of service to get your home to the level you would like . We had you on the schedule for two hours and that is all we could accommodate on that day for you and as I mentioned earlier the crew was already behind because of difficulty accessing the home. As for my delay in contacting you I must expresses that I deeply regret the delay in getting back to you. I was out of town and was unable to get back to you as quickly as I would have liked. In my numerous attempts to contact you though I have offered you a number of possible resolutions anywhere from having a crew come back out to paying for the service myself. We have received no response from you though. In summary we do not sell a product. Here our obstacle is always trying to keep our service as consistent as possible so clients always know what to expect. This is the same obstacle every service business faces. If we were selling a can of soda it would be fairly straightforward to ensure a consistency in the experience. The reason that we have so many positive reviews on Angie's List is not that we are always perfect- it is that we will do whatever necessary to make it right for our customers, because for us it's not about just making sure you're happy with the service; it's about doing everything we possibly can to serve you the best we can in all regards. If you had been patient and understanding I'm sure we could have met and exceeded your expectations. This lack of understanding on your part though is most likely the reason that you have been through four cleaning companies at this point. Beginning a service with a cleaning company is the same as beginning a friendship. The longer it goes on the more familiar you will become and the stronger the relationship will become. Even though the review is very negative I still would like to thank you for taking the time to leave us so much feedback. Although I do find many points in your review to be harsh and unreasonable there are some issues here that have merit and these items will be addressed so that we can make sure to better serve our clients in the future. I called WeBe Works on Monday, December 29th and scheduled carpet cleaning and 4 hours of house cleaning on a rental that we were preparing for new tenants. It was short notice on a holiday week, but they were able to get the job done on Wednesday, December 31st. The crew showed up promptly and were very though in completing the job. They were able to remove a very stubborn ink spot from the carpet. It was really efficient for me, having an entire crew there. Will definitely hire them again if needed.

I made the initial appointment on 11/22/14 for the day after (23rd). Before the appointment time Robert gave me a call saying that it might have to be rescheduled for a week day. I let him know that due to me and my wife's work schedules it would have to be Wednesday night at 6PM. He said that he would call me back after talking to his workers. He got back with me after about 15-20 minutes and we finalized the appointment. The two ladies were very prompt, arriving at 6pm. After showing them what I would like done, they got down to business and were done in a little less than 3 hours. Money well spent. I will be using WeBe Works again. What impressed me the most about the service was not only how clean everything got, but that I was able to get it done the day before Thanksgiving. Thank you WeBe Works.

We have used WeBe Works three times to clean this house since locating them on Angie's List in September 2014. Typically, they send a two-member crew to perform the job, but this last time, they sent three members, including one who was in a training role. Each time, the crew has been very punctual, and as I have requested, has called ahead to give us about an hour's notice that they are on their way. They show up with a full set of cleaning supplies and equipment needed to do the job, including vacuum cleaner, mops, brooms, floor cleaners, etc. They always ask if there is anything special that we want done on each visit. On the most recent cleaning, we asked that they vacuum our exposed ceiling beams and they brought a 12 foot step ladder to accomplish the job. Each time, the WeBe crew has performed the job very well. The crew members are very diligent, working energetically from start to finish. They are thorough in their work, while showing our home the same respect that we do ourselves. As they are completing their work, they seek feedback on whether we are finding the work done to our satisfaction, and if there is anything further that we want done. While we have always been very pleased with the work done by the crews, WeBe backs up their work by agreeing to return to complete any work that was not done to the customer's satisfaction. We have not had that problem. You will note from our ratings that we are very pleased with the work performed by WeBe. Our slightly lower rating on price reflects that because we live in a rural area, WeBe charges us some time for transportation of their crew to our property. This makes the cost to us slightly higher than some of our alternatives, but we find this transportation charge to be reasonable given where we live and where the WeBe office and crews are coming from.
