Will Fix It

I was very happy with the service and would use them again.

I have a repair that was not covered by my home warranty company and need a 3 ton coil and evaporator pan replaced. American Home Shields stated they will not cover it and I must pay for the replacement myself. I called Will Fix It and was told that because I had a contract with American Home Shield, even though I had to pay for the entire replacement myself, I must make a $79 payment to receive an estimate. Non home warranty home owners receive free estimates. I asked if she could get clarification as I was paying for it myself, but she refused. I asked to speak with her supervisor, but was refused. I was placed on hold for 5 minutes and was told I still had to pay to get an estimate.

Called Fix It' and Rudy Flores came the next day. He inspected everything and also said there was a leak and would install a new copper line, go through the attic and have the A/C condensation drain that way to the outside. His estimate came in at $1100. A/C unit was 17 years old and I hoped it would last another year but couldn't see spending over 1K for a repair on such an old unit. Estimate for new unit came in over $7700, not a top of the line either, but a 13 SEER. It's a rental house but this was the cheapest he could offer. I was impressed with Rudy Flores though. Mostly I trusted him and felt he was honest He was great in explaining what needed to be done, was friendly and very helpful. I would have hired him if he and "Fix It" would have had a better deal. The 'old' unit was still running and cooling good. The leak needed to be repaired or a new A/C unit installed but it was not something that needed to be done right away. A few days later I decided to have a new unit installed but again wanted to get another estimate from a company I had talked to two years earlier. They came out, had a much better deal and that's why I didn't hire Rudy and "Fix It'. Still think they have good people working at Fix It but in this case it was purely a financial decision to go with another company.

I spent a little over $9000. They did a good job. I think they were honest and they carry a good quality air conditioner, they did a good job, they cleaned up after themselves and it was reasonable. We checked around for a few other companies and they gave us probably about the best deal.

They were at our house by 9:30, and the repair was done by 10:30. Cool again by 11 pm.

Called Steve Granato the next day and further repair was scheduled for 1 May. On that day the two men crew arrived at agreed time and began the process of clearing the debris from the 3 inch sewer line. I watched the final 10 minutes of the process. Steve was good in explaining what he was doing, answered my questions and acted in a professional manner. I received a one year warranty and they would unclog the line again for free, if needed.

I'm very happy with their work. They even came back and added some insulation in a certain part of the house after I expressed some some concern about a cold area.

I can only think of a couple of jobs that Will Fix It has done for me, and there have been many -- small and large, that did not go perfectly as expected the first time. Any time there was a glitch or something unexpected, they were back immediately, day, night, or weekend to make it right. They have been dependable, quick responding, courteous, and professional ... and patient with my dogs! I highly recommend this company.

Great. On time and done in less than 30 minutes

It was all done the same day. So far, I'm happy with the way it's running (so quiet now).

When my husband pointed this out, he ordered the correct part. He was a very nice man, however. The air conditioning man that came said there was a leak in our system. Another technician that we later called said there was not a leak anywhere. We don't necessarily trust them, especially after reading other reviews. My husband had to call numerous times to get them to respond about the ordered plumbing part. He finally got through to a manager. They need to improve their customer service response time, and learn what honesty and integrity mean.

I have to give them credit for being honest with us and advised against the hot water heater flush. They said if it's not giving us any trouble to not mess with it due to it's age (still working @ about 20 yrs old). The tech had to call someone else out to bring a camera to go down the drain to check out the possible water leak. They found it very quickly....it was literally within 5 feet of the start of the cleanout they went down. The drain pipe was seperated. They identified the location and even let us check it out on the camera so that was cool to see the actual issue. They did a great job working with us, were very professional and all that you could probably ask for. Now for the downside....the quote was VERY expensive. It's in the best place it could be to have the worst problem. The pipe is within 24" of the end of the slab/foundation. It's in the patio doorway at the kitchen - in the covered porch area where we can literally just pull the plywood up and the workers would have shade and everything. For this very small area and what appears to be a simple fix to reconnect the pipe we were quoted $4500.00 Insurance doesn't cover this so it's all out of pocket so this was way out of our league to say the least. The price is the only reason I chose no to using them in the future but otherwise they were great to work with.

Their product of a pump to deliver instant hot water to my upstairs restroom actually put hot water into the toilet, after spending over $600, we had to disconnect it ourselves. The person who put in the hot water heater did not know what to with the extra pump, which their company put in.

Had only had our A/C system checked 2x before in the past ten years, so knew it was long overdue. Signed up through a table display at Home Depot, and hoped for the best... Had to reschedule and I was impressed with the great customer service of the young lady on the phone. Really good sign. The service rep, Geofery, arrived right on time. He was efficient, respectful, and professional every step of the way. He was solidly knowledgeable . Explained everything in easy-to-understand terms that a lay person could follow, but still from an accurate and technical aspect. Super good guy. During the inspection, Geofery showed me several components that were worn or seriously needed cleaned up. He gave me different options of what he could do about them. I felt comfortable with his assessments, and also felt he was honest and his recommendations made good sense. Really appreciated that he did not push me into making a decision on the spot. I felt this really spoke well for his integrity and for the reputation of Will Fix It. After taking some time for think while Geofery finished the inspection, I decided to get work done while he was there. He worked quickly and diligently and I have not met a kinder person in quite a while. He gave me much more than I had expected in the way of service and generosity with his time and his talents. Like I said, just a super good guy. I had just hoped to not have a bad experience in any way when I signed up for the inspection. Instead it was a great experience that far surpassed my expectations. Couldn't be happier with my experience with this tech and with doing business with Will Fix It.

They did a fantastic job. You need to have your schedule because we had plan for the a/c, heater, and plumbing inspection. They call you up to let you know that they are coming and they're reliable.

It was excellent. They've been placed for 60 years and they work hard. They earned their money.

We have a home warranty and this is the provider that the warranty co. send out. I think that is a good recommendation in itself!

Got inspection approval from city Mar 7, 2012 on the plumbing work. They came on time, dug the trench and were careful not to disturb the roots of my Crepe Myrtle tree and other shrubs. careful to cover the trench so no one would get hurt or fall into it and put up yellow tape all around the site. Finished on time. Cleaned up all the extra stuff and refilled the trench and put back what grass they saved when digging to replant. Looks nice. For the Jan 11, 2013 job, they were kind enough to let me furnish the parts and it made the job faster and less expensive. Very neat and clean technicians.

Used to use these guys all the time, were pretty decent. Then I think they switched to giving technicians a bonus or commission for adding services to the call. They kept finding 'new' stuff that needed repaired on every call. Last case was the worst. First, with manifold leak, I told the guy exactly where the main line came into the house, knowing the manifold would be behind the wall at that spot. He purposely refused to believe it, insisted he had to dig exploratory holes all over the yard. Took 3 hours, found the line exactly where I said it was. {He wanted to add $200 to the bill for the digging. When I said I was going to call the office he said he could 'work something out.'} After they completed repair of the manifold, tech asked to use the toilet. When he comes out, says he noticed hall bath toilet was filling too slowly, could replace with an ordinary stem for about $75 or a super-duper stem for about $280 (strongly recommended). He was probably betting that I only use the MBR bath and would not be aware of any 'problem' in the hall. But I had used the hall bath that morning and knew it was just fine until he went in there. Told him I'd think about it. After they left I inspected the stem and found he had tightened the flow control screw down with pliers (I could see the teeth marks from the tool). I loosened the screw and everything was fine. Called the office three times to complain about this character and never got a call back. I've never called them back either.

Took a week to complete the job! They kept sending different workers each day and did not inform the next workers what the problem was so it was like starting all over every day. Although the workers were very polite, they talked to me a lot and then charged by the hour for conversation. They broke the sprinkler system pipes in two separate places and had to repair that. I believe they charged me per hour to fix the broken lines on the sprinkler system. When I was trying to submit the itemized bill to my insurance company, I had a hard time getting Will Fix It to send me an itemized bill. I would not recommend this company. I just wish I had been a member of Angie's List prior to hiring this company. Update: In June 2014, I experienced a leak in the exact same area that was supposed to have been fixed in July 2013 by Will Fix It. This time I chose another plumber to repair the leak. Yes, I did my homework much better and used Angie's List and had great results.

See above. I contacted another company who sent a guy out who put my thermostat in and the heater worked. I felt so ripped off. I would never use this company again. I was disappointed because I had used them for a plumbing problem a few years back and everything went fine.

Service contract A/C Heater and Plumbing When checking the heater they detected a weak capacitor. Left the option up to me saying the unit could go for years without it being replaced or could go out tomorrow. Whither it went out or not the unit would draw more electricity then with it replace. They have been my service provider for years and will renew my contract this week. The last time they said the same about my water heater. I decline the offer of a new one. Within a week I had them back when it started to leak. They are reliable and honest and on time. That is about as good as you can say about any company.
