They unclogged my sewer lines; then dug a hole in my yard left the clean out pipe sticking out on the ground where my grandchildren can trip and fall over it and I can run over it with my lawn mower; now how stupid is that? They left a mess and never came back to clean it up. They took forever to do this job; it seems every day there was an excuse not to work on it. 07/2023, AC repair call out – Will Fix it, repair tech/sales rep. Hard Sale Push: wanted to repair, hard pushed towards replacement. Home heat stress on family and me contributed to poor decision-making: normal I would repair, price out new systems, and get 3-qty quotes from different companies. Overprice Catalog: units and cost presented wear overpriced, extreme mark-up. Fault Representation: I was led to believe, I was selecting a 2-stage AC unit, but model on sale paper work was a single stage. (Only after researching model number, I was aware the purchase order had a single stage model) Installation: 2-man-installation-crew was professional and courteous but not-regular-truck was not well equipped. (They worked in uncomfortable temperatures, truck missing AC pad and shock absorbing pads.) I should not have extended the trust I had in Home Depot to their AC repair reps. I was ripped off! Hoping others avoid my very costly mistakes.

I purchased a water softener from Home Depot and did not work went there and HD sent someone from will fix it the rep told me that the one I purchased from Home Depot is no good and convinced me to get one through will fix it I did and I still get hard water where I can see it around the sink or drinking water etc I called them and sure they sent the same guy who installed it did the testing and he said it’s fine but the same problem I’ve had it for 2 years I’m sure the machine is defected and they don’t want to replace it Will fix it came 3 times with the same guy who installed it I told them to send someone else but the same guy keeps on coming trying to sell me more stuff after the 3rd time I gave up

DO NOT USE IF NEEDING NEW AC UNITS or ANY AC REPAIR!!! We are BEYOND frustrated with this company. We had two very old units in our home. One was needing to be replaced. We decided to get both replaced late summer (July/August 2021) to avoid the hassle of two separate installations. Jokes been on us! They did a TERRIBLE install job. Not a day after they finished installing both units our ceiling was dripping water. We had MASSIVE water damage to our ceiling. They took over 24hours to get someone out to our house to stop the leak. We have 3 small children, so with no AC during a San Antonio summer it was pretty terrible on top of not having it during the install portion of this. We did not get compensated for their "we'll get someone there in less than 24hours" guarantee like we should've either. When they did finally come it took over two weeks for them to finally "fix" it because new problems kept coming up. Not to mention the annoyance of having loud fans dry out our attic and ceiling, scaffolding to repair the ceiling on top of that. Fast forward to a week and half ago and we get them out because it's taking hours to cool the upstairs 2 degrees. They come and say the install job was the problem and duct wasn't securely on the unit, so they "Fix it". A few days later guess what we find?!?! FIVE new water spots on our ceiling! They get someone out to "fix it" next day (yesterday). We are told they'll get someone to fix our ceiling. We call this morning and they tell us the guy who was at our house yesterday, supposedly setting all this us, is off today and they had no idea about needing to get someone out. WE CAN NEVER GET A HOLD OF AN OWNER OR HIGHER UP!! My husband asked for one yesterday and nothing. I asked for one this morning, the lady on the line tells me the Quality assurance manager will call me right back, she's just on the other line. It's been over an hour and still NOTHING! We have no idea when someone's coming out to our house to fix our ceiling. They have no regard for our time especially since we'll have to change work plans to make sure repair people can come in and put in the loud fans again and fix the ceiling AGAIN. We are STILL living in a nightmare that started back nearly a year ago. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE COMPANY USE SOMEONE ELSE!!!

Upon recommendations from their technician, we paid for and installed another GFCI connection to plug in a refrigerator in the garage, that costed us $585 dollars. They were kind but induced us wrongly to "fix" something that was not needed. After they completed installation, the refrigerator would cause same issue, and will trip off the power. Had to spend extra $100 by Samsung to learn that the refrigerator needed to be connected to a standard line ($600 dollars later we plugged the refrigerator at another location).

Our guest bathroom was flooding the hallway due to a clog. Called WillFixit because they advertise 24/7 service. Said they would arrive by 6 p.m. When plumber arrived he did not have the required auger to unclog the drain. Stated he told the dispatcher and she said to come out anyway. Parts place to get required auger had already closed (24/7?). Plumber said there was nothing he could do and that he would be back first thing the next day. He never called and never showed up. Meanwhile our laminate flooring is now wavy. Horrible service.

Description of Work: Let me first say in my entire life i have only given one bad review but this company is so bad, I felt obligated to share. I needed to have a spicket fixed on the outside of my house. The first hours labor was quoted at $500. Let me repeat that was just for the first hour. I asked don't plumbers usually charge $80 or so dollars an hour and the answer was yes but not this company. First hour is $500 and then it goes up from there. If you want to pay too much then call We Fix It. If you want to pay a fair price contact another company. That's what I did and saved a lot of money. On top of it all they will charge you $70 just to tell you that they are now going to rob you blind, In my entire life I have never been as displeased with a service provider than I was with this company. when I was a boy my parents always told me to learn from my mistakes. I hope all of you do as well and call someone else to fix your issue.

This outfit was referred to me by Home Depot for the replacement of an actively-leaking water heater. They missed their stated arrival time and then gave me 3 prices quotes: 1. Customer-supplied water heater, $1818. 2. They supply a water heater with a 6-year warranty ($350 at HD), $2907. 3. They supply a water heater with a 12-year warranty ($530 at HD), $3576 Clearly, these prices are outrageous and "Will" should probably investigated by law enforcement for predatory and exploitive practices. (BTW, I had a licensed plumber from Graig's List do the job for $275. He worked by himself and got the job done in 2.5 h.)

Finally, after 3 attempts from other firms, whose results ranged from unsatisfactory to disastrous, I found a great firm who fixed my AC problems beyond my expectations. Will Fix It at 1920 Grandstand, San Antonio TX 78238 exhibited exemplary customer service and technical skills. Moreover they were more than fair in the way they priced their repairs. At times they acted more like neighbors (which they are) than contractors (which they also are). Learn from my mistakes and my good fortune and consider Will Fix It when you need a new AC or AC repair. I highly recommend them.

If you don't take them up on it, then you kinda lose out on the money, but we definitely did because we have dogs and cats and our AC would work harder, their fur and their dander gets into the air, then it gets into the ducts and the filters. Here is the problem I had - their dispatch team does not talk to their customer service. Ultimately, the person that comes to your house is always very professional and always very good, but in the 7 years that we used them, they never brought us the right filter. I had signed a contract so I was going to keep on using them, but then it goo be somewhat of a joke. They never could do it. If you are really wanting the customer service to talk to dispatch, then they get an F. The person who sees you at your house he is usually an A or a B, it is kind of hard to say overall what you would say. If I requested it, they would come back the same day with the right filter. I think another provider might have been a little more expensive, but they are not super cheap. They always would find something wrong that could cost quite a bit, so there is that type of thing. I am older so you can't just tell me something and I am going to say OK sure, here is a few thousand more. They have to explain it to me, show it to me and then I have to do research on it and then I will make a decision. They are average on price you just have to do your homework. They are very responsive. I think would probably try a few other things first before I used them again. I have a brand new house now and I had that contract with them and I don't want to get into another lengthy contract.

We have been with them for years. They do a maintenance tune-up on a bi-annual basis. We have a little contract with them. Both of our systems are with them and they do a fantastic job. They actually put in the biggest one that we have which is Amana, and it has a 10-year warranty. Actually, it was covered under the 10-year warranty. There was no co-pay, it was absolutely, totally free. It was absolutely fantastic.

1.The excavators covered the sidewalk, inconveniencing renters. Then until I insisted, they failed to haul the excess, urine tainted soil away. 2.They broke the sidewalk with their equipment; they fixed it after I complained. 3.They finally spread the top soil, but they left big rocks scattered around, making no attempt to rake or prepare the yard for new sod. The entire front yard will have have new top soil and new grass. 4. Within a few days of completion of the job, cracks began to appear in the interior walls, running along the ceiling/wall, running the entire length of on bedroom, turning a corner and running across the room. 5. Floor tiles began cracking and popping up. 6. The patio slab began to move away from the foundation. There is now a 5 inch gap between outer wall and the edge of the patio. Since then, the renter reports to me that her water bill is very high. I hired a different plumbing company to do a pressure test (which apparently WFI did not do upon completion). The test revealed a leak. I then had the new plumbing company do a pin point test. The test revealed that I have 8 separated leaks under the house now, because the slurry that was pumped under the foundation caused the slab to break and the pipes to separate at both toilets, all lavatories, and bathtubs and shower. I cannot rent the house until I get the foundation repaired, the interior damage to walls and ceilings repaired, and new floors. The total cost will run me somewhere in the $50,000 range. Meanwhile I am making payments on the rental house but cannot rent it until repairs are done. WFI denies responsibility. I have retained an attorney.
Description of Work: Will Fix It agreed to repair a plumbing leak that was, according to them, 19 ft under the foundation of my rental house. They also agreed to replace the pipes leading to my house. The work involved excavating a tunnel large enough for the plumber to fit inside to reach to site of the leak. It also involved digging the trench across the front yard to the house to replace the line. They hired an engineer before starting the job, whose report indicated that the foundation could withstand or tolerate the work specified, and which stated exactly how the tunnel would need to be refilled, although the engineer report was probably a formality required by the city permit office, and looks like a generic form. The two replacement of the outside line was a separate job, and other than I decided to do both while the company was there on site and thus try to get a better price, they are unrelated.

Called them and scheduled an appointment for 12:00-2:00 pm with their $69 drain cleaning "special". At 2:05pm I called them again to see what is going on, and they said they accidentally booked me for the next week. They said they will send someone in the next 3-4 hours. When he finally arrived he wasn't willing to do the job. He said that this drain cleaning will cost above $300 but "he will do me a favor" and will do it for only $250. There was nothing special to do just run his plumbing snake through the drain line. They sell u this special without the intention to honor it but just to get their foot at your door. Than they will try to sell u the service u need and others u don't at the highest possible price. This is "WILL"FIXiT. STAY AWAY!!!

I have used Will Fix It a number of times previously and have had no issues with them at all -- I was a satisfied customer. So when one of the toilets on the lower level of the house started rocking, I called to have someone come out. The first appointment was for Thursday from 5-7. Well, at 5:30 on Thursday the 'supervisor' called to reschedule due to 'a lot of plumbing emergencies'. Well, okay, I get that. But the next appointment was the following Monday. I said sure -- I am not having any issues at this point. So Monday comes and the plumber shows up -- I show him the toilet rock, and he pulls out his quote book and says "I can give you a free estimate" and quotes me nearly $900. Now, keep in mind, he has not touched the toilet at all -- not once. Just looked at it and pulled out the book. I said "are you going to pull the toilet to see if it is what you think it is?" "No, I would have to charge you $249 for that". That is not a free estimate. I am so disappointed as I have had great service in the past. Not sure what is happening but I am shopping for a new plumber now.

All went well. It was an easy diagnosis, and an easy fix - if they had the parts. It is a special order and I opted not to order the part. The customer Service at this shop was excellent. The store was kept in excellent receiving condition and the employees were polite and friendly. I would definitely go back here for any kinds of repairs.
Description of Work: I had a small DVD player that wasn't playing anymore. I brought it in after calling about it. The phone call insists that they can fix it so I brought it in and it was determined that it required a new bulb but it was something they would have to find and special order. The clerk offered that on Amazon.com I could get a replacement player for much less money. He was honest, he did the work right there in front of me, and he was right. It did need a bulb and I could get a better deal if I got a new one on Amazon. Excellent customer service in my opinion!

I typically do not write reviews, but feel this one is necessary to anyone considering using Will Fix It. I have been a customer of Will Fix It for almost eight years. My experience had been fine until my most recent encounter. I left three phone messages for Larry, the Service Manager, to call me to discuss issues related to my hot water heater after a technician provided services. I wanted Larry to explain and clarify what could or could not have happened to cause the issues I am having with my water heater, however, Larry wouldn’t return my phone calls which I find to be very unprofessional and unacceptable. Each time I called to leave a message, I could hear the representative typing the e-mail to Larry and was assured he would return my call (so it is not an issue of him not receiving any of the three messages). Because Larry, the “Service” Manager, wouldn’t return my phone calls, I no longer have any trust in this company and therefore, will no longer use this them for any services and have advised my neighbors to not use them either. If you look at the company’s website, you’ll find a page describing their “Exceptional Service Guarantee”. It states that “if you are dissatisfied with our work for any reason, we’ll make every effort to meet your expectations”. How can a business make this claim when the “service” manager won’t even return a phone call? The company also claims that they “strive to provide each customer with exceptional customer service”. Again, how can this be a valid claim when the “service” manager won’t return a phone call? The company has clearly failed in these areas. I don’t recall how or why I chose Will Fix It close to eight years ago (I was not a member of Angie’s List at that time), but after my recent experience, I checked the reviews on this company and noticed that their overall rating is a “B”. I now know why their rating is not an “A” like many other plumbing companies on Angie’s List. If you choose to use Will Fix It, I wish you the best of luck in your experience (hopefully, it will be a positive one), however, I do NOT recommend them at all.

I had to go buy the entire box to replace the cover as I could not find a cover to replace the one that the rep broke. Based on my experience, I have to guess that they are a bunch of idiots who will come to your home and break things and NEVER say a word about it. I will NEVER call this company for anything again.
Description of Work: The company sent out a rep to check my front lawn water cut off. The rep went out to the yard and used some tool to pry up the cover to the sprinkler system back-flow preventer. As he was prying it up, he split it in half and NEVER said a word about what he had done. He gave me a cost figure for what the work would cost and left. I discovered the breakage the next time I went out into that part of the yard. Needless to say, I didn't call them back to do any work for me.
