Sometimes they are good and sometimes they are not. They have expanded a lot. We don’t get the service we used to get years ago but they are the best in town. They are the cheapest around. I would advise people to go to other companies first. They are good in handling claims. Other insurance companies have not been able to beat their prices. No one can use them unless they are military retired or related to someone in the military. Maybe they are open to others but I’m not sure.

They took care of it and got the money we needed in the account, and redid the wiring over the phone. They were really good to us, and I appreciate that. I would give them the highest ratings across the board.

I pay my premium annually and I also have life insurance with them. It is the best rated insurance agency in the nation by far. My advice to people is that if they qualify for it you need to get it. They are USAA selective in a number of areas; not just retired military but they are selective also in terms of what your record for your accidents and claims against other insurance carriers. They don't take everybody but if you qualify for it I would strongly recommend it; it is the best in the country.

You have to have a connection with the military to be eligible to use them but my husband always did because his dad died on active duty in the military.
