I have been using them for years already. I like them because they do not charge that much, I like their professionalism, and they all have the knowledge to do their works . I am never disappointed with them.

I have always had a wonderful experience with them.

I was hit by a USAA insured driver 3 weeks ago and took my car in for an estimate right away. I'm having to call every week for an update about actually getting the work done (we can't give you an update, it's still in process). Luckily my car is drivable. I didn't have sufficient coverage. When the agent came out he did not give me sufficient coverage. I had called previously be fore the fire to see if I had sufficient coverage for my home. I had no recollection of calling them and they said they had it in the notes and I thought that was great that they pointed that out to me. So when my house burnt down they added the coverage for me since it was their mistake. They rebuilt my entire house. They were phenomenal.

I've never had a problem with them. They're responsive & have all kinds different types of help - financial counselors, retirement information, investments, etc - they've got it all. I only wish I could talk to someone face-to-face but they don't have an office in Chattanooga. They have a lot of information available & are willing to send out any information that you need. They're very nice when they talk with you & take all the time you need. They've got different payment options for insurance as well. They're military-based & very reliable.

The refinance took over 7 months. It was one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. After being a customer of USAA's for over 10 years I am not doing business with them anymore. Previous to this re-finance I had 9 separate accounts with them. Here are some key points: -The initial application package that I received from USAA was incredibly difficult to follow and compete and was very un-organized. -The appraisal services USAA purchases are more than sub-par. -The loan processor and associated employees provided some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They consistently blew off my requests and concerns. -The "message" system on the USAA website is not an acceptable means of communication. -All the paperwork "expired" half way through the process and had to be re-sent. -The mortgage application was "re-started" three quarters of the way through the process by accident resulting in my receipt of a new application package and a call from a new appraiser. -It appears that USAA has over-extended its capabilities to provide good services in all its different areas of business. -No one at USAA seemed to actually care that this went so bad after numerous phone calls and emails. There is a lot more I could write but I think you get the point. Avoid all USAA services. They are no longer the great company they once were.

They offer great service and I deal with them on a weekly basis at least.

I like USAA a lot. They have great customer service and their rates are pretty good too.

I had to select cruises or hotels from the automated selections. What I really wanted to do is compare the two. I selected cruises first. When asked what the advantages of a cruise vs an all inclusive hotel, all he could say is food and entertainment are included with a cruise and they not with a hotel. He must have used the word included 5 times. I don't know if he knew what all inclusive hotel meant. The second time I selected the hotel option thinking I might get better results. After the agent talked to herself for three minutes straight trying to find a hotel, I finally gave her the name of a specific hotel. She then spent the next three minutes telling me why i didn't like the hotel and what made me chose this one. When asked for a better option, she could not give me anything specific and suggested I go to their website. USAA normally selects quality partners, but I'm ashamed for them on this selection. Definitely doesn't live up to their standard.

I love them. I am a retiree and I like how they work with us. I like their services. They are very punctual and very quick for all your claims; they are very on it. You get very good quality insurance for not only your home but also for your automobiles. What you get for what you pay is very good.

My husband just got the 50-year award from them. They take care of the concerns right away. We are quite happy with them. We pay them $2000 for this house, $2400 on another house and $700-$900 for the other because no one is in it. We would recommend them highly.

Our relationship with USAA covers many areas: insurance, loans, banking.Online applications and immediate decisions, superb customer service, top of the line online services and access to account are just some of the ways we like USAA.

We are really happy with it. We have used them for 30 years.

When I refinanced my 2006 vehicle, I asked them to refinance the vehicle solely in my name rather than having my ex-wife still listed as a co-signer. The state I lived in required her to be removed from the financing before I could start the process to remove her from the title, even though she would do so voluntarily. The USAA rep I spoke with assured me that was the case, and the documents i aigned reflected that. However, months later, I learned the lien they filed still reflected both our names, and therefore having her removed from the title became impossible at that time. After being medically disabled from civilian public and reserve military service, I sent USAA a check for the $8,300 payoff. After verifying the funds, I was sent the title with a lien release, and a letter stating the loan was paid in full. That was my only account with USAA, so I made no further efforts to interact with them, other than updating my current residential and mailing address. The bank from which the payment was made was not used after that, either. Months later, I learned USAA had refused and returned the check, allegedly because the previously-verified funds were no longer verifiable. However, even though the money was there, they explicitly said their policy was not to make a second inquiry or submission. My vehicle turned up missing one morning, so in due diligence I called USAA. They said it was repo'ed, even though they had been paid and had released title. I was given only days (during law school finals week) to perform their only acceptable resolution - pay again. Investigation and inquiry into the previous payment was unacceptable. During the next few days, I learned USAA told my wife that they had spoken with me on numerous occasions, and that I said I didn't have time for them. That was an overt lie, as my first conversation was after the vehicle was taken. However, on that basis, they refused to permit me to be a USAA customer of any type, saying, "If he doesn't have time for us [USAA], we don't have time for him." When I spoke to them, they denied even having conversations with my wife, which was another overt lie. Moreover, they freely acknowledged sending the legally-required notices to my previous address, even though such notices were sent after I made the change of address. Their explanation was that changing my membership information, including updating my address, did not notify the loan department of such a change. Before I could act, amidst law school finals, the vehicle was sold at auction for a profit, and despite the profits, USAA billed me for excess fees rather than putting the proceeds against such fees.

I have been a happy customer of USAA credit card and insurance services for years. That's why when I called to inquire about a mortgage and they told me that loans for military family members are serviced through Military Family Home Loans, I trusted their recommendation. Huge mistake. They've lost paperwork, have failed to return emails/ telephone calls, have caused delays in service, and are now delaying our closing date. We're selling our current home, so we'll be homeless with all our stuff in storage while we wait to close. We have good credit and have reviewed and signed all the paperwork we've gotten from them and sent it back within 24 hours; I don't know how we could be more involved or timely-- we're doing everything we know to do but it doesn't change a thing. I'm writing this review so hopefully someone will see it and avoid this company and save themselves time, money, and headaches! I'm so angry that we have to pay (literally-- temporary housing and storage for our things) because of their mistakes, and there is no penalty for them!

Husband was contacted by claims adjustor within a couple days, confirmed some information and told husband would be sent. We received in under a week, very fast, very impressive. Must say this is the best experience either my husband or I have ever had with an experience company. Friendly, competent, professional, no fuss, no hassle - you have to love it! Also, the auto company they suggested in our area (also an Angie's member) did a super great job, so they really do keep up with contractors, plus they care about their customer

I do all my banking work through their online facility. All their services are automated where I can deposit checks online or through my phone and I can even send money or have them send checks to pay my rent and other expenses.

We have our insurance, our IRA's and our banking with them. They are the best and have the best customer service; we have been with them for a long time.

They are great. I would recommend them to other people, and I would tell them that I’m very happy with them.

Their quality and responsiveness stand out. We’ve been with them since 1981. We switched to them from another company back then because of the way they handle their claims.

Their services had just been wonderful. They're just very helpful and I have been using them for 15 years now.

. So where do I begin? We've been with USAA for over 35 years, and expected this loan to go as smoothly as all of our other transactions have gone in the past. This should have been a slam-dunk, easy peasy process, as we have all of our money with USAA and they know to the penny what we make, and what our profit was on the sale of our former home. They are in possession of every detail of our financial lives, frankly. There was nothing unusual about the sale, and the appraisal even came in 50k over the sales price! From the beginning we were met with indifference and a total lack of communication by our assigned "case worker". Calls were not returned, information was not processed correctly, etc,etc,etc. We were asked for information that we had alrerady submitted numerous times. Paperwork was lost. It took hours of our daily involvement ( no joke) and insistence on dealing with heads of departments (who, to their credit, were pretty reasonable) to get this loan closed. to make a very long story short, had we not been under the gun for a closing date, we would have walked. In addition, the closing costs were higher than industry standards. Much higher. I am afraid that USAA has grown too large now with its continual push for expanded membership to be deserving of its past stellar reputation. No longer happy with its insurance arm, either, but that's another story for another day. (The Credit card division is the only bright spot; they're still awesome) Sad to see the downward spiral of what was once the best company of its kind.
