USAA has been a fantastic company. I have 5 children and 3 grandchildrem who use USAA services and insurance. If you are eligible to join investigate using USAA

Awful. I was told that I would have to allow them to CHECK MY CREDIT in order to DEPOSIT money into MY OWN ACCOUNT. We are now with another bank who did not have such a ridiculous requirement.

I have been a USAA customer for years and never had a reason to submit a claim. I had an accident involving another USAA member and my car was totaled. USAA did everything they could to low-ball the value of my car. I had to do hours of research and send them proof of the value of my car. After months of fighting with them they finally admitted my car was worth more than they were initially offering and even gave me $500 more than I had valued my car. They use CCC One valuation reports to a**** the value of the car and these reports were designed to low-ball the value. This makes sense to maximize their profits BUT hurts the customer.

Since I was between residences and staying at a hotel, I gave USAA my complete work address to send the loan documentation to, and they screwed it up twice. The first time they attempted to send the documentation to my in-laws house clear across the country. When the FedEx driver discovered that I don't live there, the packet was returned to USAA. Then they sent the packet out to my work address but left off the suite number, so it still didn't get delivered to me. I had to download the packet and print it out myself while I waited for them to get their act together. When I found an error in the loan documentation I was asked to sign, I brought it to my loan processor's attention and was literally advised to "sign everything but don?t read it! We?ll correct everything in your file and there?s nothing there that is considered a legal agreement." The entire packet was nothing but a legal agreement, littered with legal verbiage all throughout. Then while I was shopping for a new lender, and hadn't signed any documentation with USAA, they acted on my behalf to order and complete an unauthorized appraisal. My new lender also ordered an appraisal, which we had to scramble to get canceled so I wouldn't have to pay for two. I wanted to buy a home without worrying that my lender would screw up the entire process. USAA failed miserably.

Called for a quote on insurance for a car co-buying for our son. Receive a quote with numerous options for coverage and numerous options to make payments easy for him to pay. From start to finish spent about an hour providing all the information and setting up the policy.They were always about making it easy for the customer. Couldn't do enough, always taking the extra step to make it right.

Everything has always went smoothly no matter how complicated the matter that was being attended was.

I only deal with them through internet and phone because they are too far.

We have been using them for three years. I never had any problem with them. They take care of everything.

I have been with USAA Insurance for 25 years. This charge is quite low for the car that I drive and where I live. It is extremely reasonable. I've never had any problems with them. They always respond. The few claims that I have ever made have never been a problem. They're always very happy to work with you. They've got a great staff and they offer a lot of wonderful features. Communication has always been very clear and concise. They give you documentation on everything that they review with you. They walk you through everything that you have questions on, it is all very easy to understand. Sometimes insurance is not easy to understand!

They are a fantastic insurance company. I have been with them for 25 years. When I worked I was a paralegal. If you are in a car accident and you don't have insurance you are up the creek. They are right on the spot. Some kids threw some rocks through my car and broke the windows. They were around the next day. They cut a cheque immediately.

One of their insured drivers rear ended our truck. They were quite unresponsive. Took 4 business days to get adjuster to look at the truck, and 3 more days to get a check. We did get more $$ than we expected.

I am very happy with USAA's banking services with a few exceptions. When I signed up one of their selling points was that I could deposit a check by faxing them a copy of the check. After I signed up and I did not have direct deposit and actually tried to fax my check I was told that a loan with them was required to use that feature. That was never mentioned as a side note or any other note. When calling customer service I may or may not get someone who knows what they are talking about. I believe they employ people who work from home although I can't prove that. On one occasion I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that "they will just tell you the same thing I'm telling you." I knew that she wasn't sure she knew the correct answer so a little later I phoned customer service and got another person who told me the proper way to handle my issue. She apologized to me for getting someone who didn't know what she was talking about. Do they train the customer service people? Is there a way to escalate calls when someone needs information that person is not able to give? Other than a handful of minor issues I've never been disappointed with USAA's service. When you compare it to the banking services locally they are far above anything available in my area. No problems with insurance except wondering if maybe the rates are a little too high. But I have not called to find out how much anyone else would charge. I have a 2006 year model car that I bought new and it only has a little over 21K miles. I feel that the little bit that I drive the car should allow me some sort of discount or credit.

USAA has always been courteous and prompt. Online menus relatively easy to follow. Solid reputation.

I would use them forever. I love them. Their price is reasonable. They are quick and responsive. They always have good customer service. They are just great, and I am happy with their service.

Normally I don't recommend businesses to others but this is an exception. I highly recommend USAA for banking and insurance and do so even when not asked. I found their mutual funds were not the best performing available and the auto insurance a little high. But all their other products couldn't be beat including life insurance. Their customer service is next to none. Their online banking services really shines and include online deposits.

USAA recently removed one of my vehicles from my insurance without my permission. They did put the vehicle back on my account but since there were no issues during the 2 months, no damage was done. They oddly continuously stated their new policy that USAA has been too nice to its customs so now they will ?hold them accountable? and will not attempt to correct errors regardless if USAA made the mistake. I had 8 vehicles insured through USAA and have been with them for more than 16yrs. The cost through USAA was approximately $600.00 a month. I am on active duty with the military and willingly paid higher premiums to insure that my family received the high quality care that USAA is known for while I was away. Now that USAA auto insurance has changed it ?business model?, I am no longer willing to pay the higher premiums. I have left USAA and gone to GEICO . My premium is now $400.00 per month. Customer care representatives still get a B+. They are still very good at what they do but cannot vary from the new policy. They are doing the best they can in the environment in which they find themselves. I would not recommend USAA Insurance to anyone but would suggest trying other insurance agencies first. USAA Banking has not changed their traditional high level of customer care. I highly recommend their banking services. UPDATE: There are some important facts to remember about USAA; they have over 8 million customers, 23,000 employees and are a $19 billion company, which has considerable influence in Texas and in the military. If you are an Officer in the military or live in Texas I would caution you about doing as I did. When you leave USAA insurance, just leave. It will take time for USAA?s new policies to have an impact on their customer base but it will. Military personnel do not respond well to treats and attempts at intimidation. It only takes one of the 23,000 employees to use USAA?s influence to cause you harm.

USAA Insurance is the Military affiliated Insurance and Banking Company. We have had insurance with USAA for about four years. My husband and I were in a fender-bender and USAA were absolutely amazing through the whole experience. We called them as soon as it happened and they were compassionate. I had never been in a wreck before, and I was also pregnant so I was worried about the baby, and they were very compassionate about my situation. The lady who dealt with us was very sweet and let me cry, and I would talk and then my husband would come on the phone and he would talk and she kept up with everything. She didn't get frustrated and she was very very sweet. There was a mix-up with the towing company because the Police used their towing company for the car, and we assumed it was USAA that took our car. I called USAA back and they said don't worry, we'll handle it, this happens all the time. They made sure the towing was still covered. The USAA body shop that we had to deal with, they were a like a Dealership, they were very nice and very personable and very understanding of our situation. Even when I called to ask about the towing, the lady who answered was pregnant and she asked me if I was feeling ok, Do you feel that you should go and see your Doctor? I said that yes, I wanted to go see him just in case, and they even handled the Medical part of it for me. They went ahead and did a Medical claim form and everything. We've had our house broken in to a couple of times and they've been amazing about that too.

I have used this company for 50 years. They are highly reliable and I have nothing but good to say about it.

I think the price is very reasonable. They do have a very good customer service and membership organization and you usually get a refund at the end of the year based on how the membership of a whole has fared on their clients.

The homeowner's is about $1,200. Their prices are reasonable. They provide excellent customer service. I've used them for years. They are always responsive. There are short wait times and I don't get transferred around a lot. They can usually answer my questions with the first or second associate. I've dealt with them for 8 or 9 years and they are a trustworthy company. I haven't done a ton of comparison regarding their prices.

Overall great experience, with there services ( auto, roth, CC). Johnny on the spot with those insurance adjusters. I've had one accident in the last 10 yrs., a fender bender with a hit and run driver. The adjuster was here next day, the adjuster paperwork was avaliable almost immdieatly online. The check was here the following week, fast and accurate. My rates never went up. The only air to caution i'd give is there mutual fund investments. I wasn't wild about being only sold the USAA fund families and no others (one, i believe was not even 5 yrs old, i know past performance is not a indicator of future growth but I didn't like it). So, i passed up USAA on mutual fund investments.

You can always do transactions with USAA Insurance from home. They are always accurate, friendly and price competitive. I haven't had a claim but people who I know and have had claims with them are very satisfied.

I have used USAA for a while. They bill us twice a year. Their rates are low, they are really helpful, they are very thorough and we have just had a very good experience with them.

They are fine. They take care of everything and have a good coverage.
