Wonderful company, have had them for over 20 years. Available 24/7. USAA always goes out of their way to help me in any situation. Highly recommend.

My wife wrecked her car on an icy bridge in the middle of the night. She called USAA roadside assistance and was told that the wait for a tow truck would be a couple of hours (I don't blame USAA for the delay; it was a bad night on the road all around Denver). Despite the hiccup with roadside assistance, USAA took care of the insurance claim with almost no hassle to us. Anything that USAA could do on their own, they did. They only had to call my wife once for an official statement. To put it simply, there's a reason why I stay with USAA even though I can get a cheaper premium with GEICO.

I can't possibly tell you how happy I am with USAA for auto insurance and homeowner's insurance (I also do all my banking with them and my car loan is through them). They might be a little bit more expensive than the discount guys, but their customer service makes up for it so much that I won't even consider switching to another company. I've never had to wait on the phone for more than 5 minutes, and the claims agents are super friendly and compassionate. If you've ever had to file a claim when you were at fault, you know how that feels. But by the time you're off the phone with them, you are totally cheered up. They dont make you feel like an idiot at all. I just purchased a new (to me) car on Saturday and needed to add it to my policy before I was able to take it home with me. Using the USAA Android App, I was able to add the new vehicle to my existing policy in the time it took for the salesman to grab my paperwork. 30 seconds later, I had a PDF file of my proof of insurance which I was able to pull up on my phone to show the dealership. I am very pleased with USAA's coverage and customer service and I recommend them to all my friends who are eligible.

Their phone representatives are always knowledgeable and helpful. I never feel like I am getting the run around. I know I am getting great service at a great price!

Never an issue to make changes to the policy or my banking needs

Most recent claim was for a windshield crack. The crack was too big to be patched. They gave me a choice of providers and made the whole process very easy.

I got into an accident in a parking lot while driving my 1968 Corvette Stingray. There was a small dent in one of the quarter panels. The agent that I spoke with was so super helpful and was able to immediately find me a body shop in the area that they recommended. They also walked me through the claims product step by step and got me my settlement check very quickly. I was so incredibly impressed and am very glad that they are my car insurance company!

We live in a really small town and there are no insurance adjusters within 100 miles. We had some hail damage and called USAA while we were in Amarillo for a day of doctors appointments and shopping, on the off-chance that they could get us into someone that day. They did! We spent about 20 minutes on the phone with the claims dept. answering all the pertinent questions. She then gave us a number of a local adjuster, who got us in within a couple of hours.

We were rear-ended at an intersection. USAA took care of everything. They did all of the contacting of the other driver's insurance company and even covered all of our expenses up front so we didn't have to deal with getting money from the other insurance company. I LOVE USAA!

My car was able to be repaired at my provider of choice to my satisfaction and a reasonable cost. They negotiated with all parties for the cost, and eliminated the need for me to even pay my deductable due to circumstances of the accident that took place in a private parking lot where law enforcement doesn not investigate. I was extremely satisfied with my financial and "insurance" handling of this bothersome experience.

I have worked through USAA for windshield replacement, 2 accidents that weren't my fault, and damage to my car from a car wash facility and every time I feel like I'm the only person in the world they have to worry about. They take care of everything and even when I tried to go through the store manager of the car wash for damaging my car, USAA told me I should've just come to them and they would've handled all of the confrontational issues. They are just all around fantastic AND they were the least expensive of ALL the options for me (and I did my research). I am so pleased - I wouldn't even think of insuring my car with anyone else.

We have been with USAA auto insurance for about 6 years now. They have great rates. Last year my youngest got a drivers license. We were able to talk through all the necessary options on the phone with a USAA agent. While our insurance rates did have to go up because of a young driver, I thought it was very reasonable (We have had young drivers two other times). And when I got the renewal forms last week, I found out we were eligible for two other discounts, one for a student away at school, and one for a mature driver who has taken a Defensive Driving Course. I like USAA and I like it that the military service of my father opens the way for me and my children to benefit from the USAA membership.

Claims are handled quickly and professionally. Prices are lower than any I have seen, and with more benefits/options for coverage.

We've had USAA car insurance since we were married back in '68. Through every accident ("Knock on wood," we haven't had all that many and hope that continues!) USAA has always provided excellent service. Even the time the deer ran into my headlights one evening and did $2,000 plus in damages. I took it to the place I wanted the work done and USAA did the rest. Very easy. They provided my wife a rental car after her last incident. (She didn't like the rental car or agency. It was a small, local Hertz.) When I most appreciated what USAA does is last year when a fellow in an office next to mine, his daughter was involved in a wreck determined to be the other driver's fault. He went back and forth for over two weeks with his insurer and the other fellow's insurance. He talked to local agents, supervisors out of town and even reps from the home offices. Angry arguments back and forth during this time. We've NEVER had such an experience with USAA. They are GREAT for car insurance. I've long thought USAA might be a little higher than some of the agencies I see advertised on TV, but that bad experience my fellow office worker had was with one of those agencies. I've often thought that an old coffee company's slogan applied to USAA car insurance: "You get what you pay for." It has certainly been true for us.

I had a rock ding my windshield. Contacted USAA. The customer service person was polite and knowledgeable. He explained the partnership USAA has with SAFELITE Repair. I made an appointment and the work was done at my workplace. No charge. USAA is awesome.
