USAA, specifically Laura Music Panton, sent out a company called Service Master Anytime, which seemed to just be street people just out of prison. When they came out, they tore my house apart. The appliances they brought into my home leaked everywhere. They destroyed a lot of my belongings, and to this day I am still living with all my things in boxes. They disconnect my phone and television, and they haven't been able to come out fix it because my home is too much of a mess. An adjuster, David Jacques, came out 14 days after Service Master Anytime came, they saw you were an older lady and they took complete advantage of you. As of February of this year, they let me know they are canceling my home owners insurance. I now cannot get home insurance through any provider because USAA has cancelled me. Since then, I have been completely ignored by them.

They are very professional in their service.

I have had USAA since 1990. They have the best customer service hands down. They may not be the lowest priced policies out there but they will go the extra mile for you. I will stay with them for life.

So far, any problems that I have had and any calls I have made to them have been handled professionally and promptly.

I've been with them for almost eight years. I like their price. I can get them on the phone 24 hours. I have had no problems with them. I pay $120 for three vehicles.

Initially I was very proud to be a military officer that was part of an elite group being provided a special opportunity to get amazing insurance coverage. We had USAA homeowners insurance for 10 years with one filled claim ($600 for food spoilage after Hurricane Ike). After Hurricane Ike (2008) just to feel safe, I had a USAA adjuster look at my roof. USAA representative stated it was a great idea and was very helpful. One shingle was broken and I repaired the shingle myself. Five years later (2013) after moving to a different house there was a rash of hail damage in my neighborhood. Several neighbors who did not have USAA were getting their roofs replaced, and I will point out lower premiums (i.e. My neighbors homes were of greater value yet had lower premiums.). I asked USAA to come take a look again, although this time it did not go very well. The adjuster USAA sent did not even bother to get on the roof, and was unprofessional. I complained in 2014 when my roof started leaking, and that's when I learned the difficulty of dealing with the bureaucracy called USAA. In 2014 USAA raised my homeowners insurance raised my homeowners insurance 15%. Later 2014 USAA sent out an appraiser to review my home. The appraiser said my home had 438 additional square feet of living space, and therefore in 2015 USAA planned to raise my homeowners insurance another 37% ( 52% policy increase over 2 years). After getting the run around and spending hours on the phone I've decided to leave USAA forever. My home's appraisal when I bought the property was 2,752 square feet, the county records show my homes livable space as 2,752 square feet, and after 10 years of loyalty USAA is not willing to have my records reflect the truth by stating my home is 3,190 square feet. Trust me, they won't be there when you need them. Build a relationship with a local agent, someone in your corner when you need assistance. USAA's motto is to promise you the world by giving unbelievable coverage, but when you need their help or they stand to pay out a claim they send out some sort of contracted help where you will loose every time. USAA will loose my homeowners insurance business, auto insurance business, umbrella insurance business, credit card business, brokerage business (this is a joke compared to my other accounts with Fidelity), checking, and savings. It?s sad, because USAA is not supposed to treat you like a for profit company but what can you expect when the company is filled with ex-government employees.

Someone run a red light and my car was completely crashed. USAA was a pleasure to deal with. They gave me a fair amount of money for the car (total lost), they gave me a rental car, gave me a week salary (the doctor recommended me to stay home) and they dealt with the claim to the other insurance company. They made it so easy for me, I was totally impressed.

They are very fair with claims. They are very responsive. We are pleased with the service they provide and like them just the way they are.

USAA has always been my preferred insurance provider, and they still write a lot of my insurance. However, their rates have always been a bit on the high side. In this case, their rate was way too high. AAA is fairly new at homeowner's insurance in Florida, but by bundling homeowners + 1 of my cars + an umbrella policy, they made me "an offer I couldn't refuse" on the rate.

Have banked with USAA for over 20 years, they have always been responsive to customer needs. What I enjoy most about USAA and ensures my continued business is their continual updating of services. Their innovation in online banking has made all processes easy and assessable to all members from the comfort of your home.

This institution is absolutely top shelf. From their obvious commitment to service members, veterans and the rest of their customers; to their high quality products and services; to the expertise and acumen of every single person with whom I've ever interacted, to their outstanding customer service ... USAA is absolutely the best in the business!

USAA goes above and beyond each and every time, whether you are a new customer or an old friend. I can tell you countless stories, but just trust that they will treat you right. AND if you even have the smallest complaint, they will make it right. I have multiple accounts with them and will NEVER leave. If you are in the military and don't have USAA, you need to at least get a savings account and let them prove to you how awesome they are!!

We had just moved to Oregon, so USAA was very helpful in guiding us through the process of dealing with the accident. No one was hurt, but our 2000 Honda was considered totaled, and we ended up buying a new car. USAA made the process very easy and was always extremely professional and courteous. We have had auto insurance with USAA for many years and we highly recommend them. This service is part of their program and did not involve a charge. Auto insurance charges vary, but they are reasonable.

It's the only insurance company I have ever had. My father had it, so I got it. They've always been very fair. I don't know if they're necessarily the cheapest. You have to be military or family of military to get in. I've been using them now since the 1960's (when I got my first cars).

It is for military and former military. They are based in Texas, so you do everything with them over the phone and internet. When we had a problem with our roof, they sent out local people to look at it. Their rates are competitive with other companies. They do what they say they are going to do. Our plumber discovered that there had been a long standing leak in the house, and as a result,we had mold growth. I called them to find out what was covered, and everything was covered except the plumber. They kept telling me that I didn't need to get 3 bids, I could just get one bid, and as long as they don't see anything wrong with it, they would be okay. The insurance company made sure that everything was done well. They were the same when we had an auto claim.

With regard to my homeowners insurance; I had a flood in my kitchen that spread throughout my home. The paid for the initial problem. Sadly, due to delays, mold set in. They first refused to pay for the damages, they changed their minds but their insurance adjuster only quoted enough to cover less than half to make my home back to its original state. I was injured after being struck by another car. I carry UM insurance in case I am ever hit by an under-insured motorist. When it came time for USAA to pay up for my UM, they changed their minds at the last minute. Thus I didn't receive $200,000 owed to me. They are supposed to be looking out for my best interest and in both cases I felt like I was treated as a criminal and trying to get more that I was insured for. That was JUST not the case! They aren't always there when you need them.

Been a member of USAA for last 10+ years. Never a problem with any services. Especially note that USAA notifies me when a purchase over a set amount (which I decide) is done. They have also replaced my credit card immediately when something is amiss. Also can easily notify they when I travel so there is no problem using my credit card anywhere in the world. Also USAA reimburses the ATM charges when I use my debit card/credit card to withdraw funds from an ATM. Great services and highly recommended.

It has been an awesome experience. We've never had a problem. It's for military members only, like if you were a military member or if you were a dependent of a military member. My children are eligible for this because my husband served. It's not a government run organization. It's a private company. But they only serve military members. They're always very responsive. They're fantastic. They're the best insurance agency out there. I've never had a problem with them. We've had them for almost 20 years. I don't ever plan on getting rid of them. It is probably around $100 per month with two cars.

It was awesome! They're excellent. Their prices aren't the cheapest but anytime you have a problem, they're there to help you. You get what you pay for.
