I've been a USAA customer for over 20 yrs for banking and insurance. I shop for insurance and this is the first time that they have been competitive in both the home owners market and the automobile market.

The representative was very helpful, and professional. I was disappointed though that we have been members of USAA for about 10years with no claims in over 5yrs, and we are not eligible for a better rate on our insurance. I do understand we just added one of our teen drivers, but it just seems unusally high.

I have had nothing but the best service from USAA. Fortunately, I have not had to make many claims over the years, but when I have, they have been quick to handle the situation. They have a superb deal regarding cracks on windshields. If the crack is small, they send someone out to your house, and they fix it for free before it gets larger requiring a windshield replacement. I have never had any trouble getting in touch with USAA, and their rates seem very reasonable to me.

I called USAA the day the accident occurred and had evrything setteled as to places to get the car repaired, including phone numbers and addresses. All the information as to what would happen next as far as the other party involved in the accident. I gave my recorded statement and that was the end of what I needed to do for our insurance. They were very helpful and able to answer all of our questions and they took care of everything else with the other insurance company.

USAA has excellent customer service over the phone, online and in-person. When calling USAA, if you need to speak with a representative, there is not a long wait and the person you are speaking with is located in the USA. There website is easy to use and straight-forward. Their claims adjusters are professional and courteous. On a recent claim, the adjuster was at my house the next day and I received a check the following day. They are a good group to have around when something goes wrong.

We ALWAYS use USAA! Prompt service, questions answered, good communication by email and telephone. Policies sent out promptly with individual auto cards.

Have been with this firm for auto insurance for 30+ years and have always rated them the best money can buy. Always prompt in responding to and paying claims. They always have your best interest at heart!

The roadside service that USAA provides is very good, we have used them on 3 times, twice for flat times and the other for the car needing to be towed because it need to be repaired. This service people that have come to help have always been professional and very nice. The USAA represented that we have talked to over the people always ask to make sure that you are in a safe place and that your car is out of the way of traffic.

Transaction was quick and fast (online). I have been using USAA Auto Insurance since 1970. Have had a lot of price quotes from other companies over the years, but no one has every beat their price for the same insurance. The few claims we have had have always been handled quickly, and courteously. I've never had a problem with their Auto Insurance service in the 43 years we have dealt with them. Excellent company.

USAA's auto insurance is great. They make it easy to pay online, there is never a long wait on the phone, I've never have my call routed half way around the world, and their price is competitive. I haven't had a claim in a few years, but when I last had one, USAA was great - they took my word for what was stolen from my car, quickly reimbursed me, and made everything very easy.

USAA does an excellent job. They are courteous, responsive and quick when contacted via phone. Claim service is outstanding, no hassles, professional and accepting of information provided in support of claims.

They not only had someone there within the hour, but checked periodically throughout that first hour to see if they had arrived, and then followed up to make sure all went well with the jump start to the battery. Not only had their contractor started the battery, but led me to a nearby auto shop to get a new battery.

They said they will pay the lost wages once they "audit" the surgery notes and make sure it was necessary. The letter from the doctor was not enough and now we are unable to pay our bills due to the insurance company not doing what they were supposed to in a timely fashion. They also only paid a portion of the medical bills (hospital, x-rays, etc) and now these things are on our credit report so they have tanked our credit as well. The worst thing is, this wreck was not our fault at all, and we are suffering because our insurance company doesn't want to do what they can to help us.

USAA did not take the easy way out, but completely replaced the damaged parts, did a complete part paint job,not touch up paint job on the marked areas, fought to replace damaged parts and deposited the money into my account promptly to pay the bodyshop. I have been using them since 1976 and have probably had them handle 3 claims on our automobiles. All, expertly done.

Went very well. Never a hitch with USAA.

Can't believe how efficient this outfit is with their on-line tools and representatives. They get better every year. They have been my insurance company for as long as I can remember (after serving on active duty). You never have a problem contacting them by phone. They have handled several claims and always with good results. Their premiums are very reasonable compared to other companies. They were recently rated number 1 by Consumer Reports.

Took care of all the little details. At the car rental, all I had to do was pick up and drop off. No paperwork really or the hassle of trying to come up with money to prepay, etc. Same with Service King. I paid my deductible and everything else was taken care of between USAA and Service King. It's nice to know that when something unfortunate happens, and the last thing you want to have to worry about is trying to find money for repairs or figure how to get to work, your insurance company is truly working for you. Thank you USAA!

I've had USAA since 1998 and have never had issues with their services. I have had to file 2 auto claims and both times were exposures very quickly and efficiently by USAA. I will never give up my USAA auto insurance!

Very smooth transaction. Made phone call to claim center in Texas, was given claim number. Took vehicle in for estimate which was quickly approved and work was accomplished soon thereafter.

Low cost, fast service. No problems processing any of my accidents, and they didn't make me feel like a moron after my fender bender. Claims were easy.

The process was simple, completed entirely online. They set up the appointment with the third party that did the repair. We also received a call from an agent to check on the progress of our claim.

They quoted me $1,300.00 for a 6 month premium and I currently pay around $400 per/month. The price was way too high, but if they were competitive I would definitely consider using them in the future.

Apparently our car slid forward after stopping at a stop sign and lightly bumped the car stopped in front of us. USAA advised us and paid for the damage to the other car. Even though it was our fault, USAA did not raise our premiums. They also seem to have a no-drop policy for policy holders. Very knowledgeable and obliging people to deal with. This is great auto insurance company, with an A rating. Update: We also had cause to use USAA road hazard service when we got a flat tire on the BMW. Quick and excellent response and no charge.
