I have found that USAA has very competitive insurance rates and they are very helpful about giving me ideas to help further reduce my insurance cost without compromising my coverage. I had to get my renters' insurance renewed most recently.

The USAA personnel were again very courteous, attentive, respectful, and detailed. They quickly gathered the required information for our loan application, provided excellent rates, and approved the loan application on the spot. We were able to take this information with us to the dealer, who naturally wanted to beat their rate and terms. The USAA rate and terms were very good, but after several phone calls our dealer did come up with a better deal which we accepted. Had we not had such a good rate and experience with USAA going in, I doubt that we would have come out of the dealership with such an outstanding deal.

The USAA representative was very attentive, courteous, and respectful. He provided a detailed car insurance quote which we were pleased with and we purchased the car insurance from them.

I have been using USAA for years for auto insurance and plan to use them into the future. Their service is prompt, friendly, professional and open. By open I mean that they will answer all questions and no costs are hidden. Their rates are the best. Their web site is excellent. They are easy to reach by phone. I wish all organizations were as high of quality as USAA.

They may not be the least expensive, but they're the best. Amazing customer service, great value for cost (as opposed to cheapest), and they let me sleep at night knowing everything is ok. If you can buy your insurance from them, you should.

You need to be military family to join. Excellent quality coverage. Very good rates. Easy to work with. Roadside assistance is only $2 per month. They are kind of rude, but they bring you gas or tow you for free, so not too badin a crisis on the road out of town. Their phone tree is absurd, so you might want to program your phone to dial in 5 layers of numbers to get to a real person!

Very helpful and friendly. I didn't wait long or go through a ton of phone prompts to get to a real knowledgeable person and I saved a lot on my premium.

Purchased comprehensive + collision, as well as 100/300/50 auto policy. You can do most everything yourself from their website, making it extremely easy. I would advise when you speak to agents for purchase of a new policy that you make sure you know exactly what they are adding to the policy, as sometimes the add unnecessary coverages. I will also say that they tend to be more expensive than their competitors, but there are many of their other products that you can get that are cheap or free to get a discount on your policy (i.e. savings account, brokerage account, etc.). I like knowing that I have a company that will not try to weasel their way out of paying out on a claim I have, so the additional cost over their competitors is worth it (when discounts are factored in).

This is a really responsive company for anybody who has a relationship to a veteran (or currently serving) of any of the armed services. My Dad was an Army-Air Force Major in World War II, so all of my family is eligible to buy policies from USAA. They have a great website, accessible by phone or instant chat, and follow-up on outstanding issues. They got my deductible back from the other insurance company in a short time and refunded it to me.] I have had other minor accidents that they handled in the same way. Set me up with a collision center, rental car, and best of all, were sympathetic. The interpersonal touch that all of their staff uses is wonderfully cheering when everything else seems dismal.

Had a cracked windshield. USAA sent a repair truck to my house and fixed it for free.

I have been a member and customer of USAA for 44 years, in the service and out, living in six states and overseas. USAA has always handled my personal banking and home and auto insurance. When I retired I transferred my investment portfolio to USAA from one of the big investment houses that seemed to want to churn my account. My experience with USAA has been faultless. Some examples: USAA has always provided complete and excellent advice when I needed to make decisions about banking or insurance. I have never felt pressure to buy any product and have even been offered advice on how I can reduce my costs. USAA initiated contact with me to tell me that a car I owned had qualified for a classic car rating which lowered its insurance rate. While working overseas I had several episodes of identity theft through highly professional attempts to use credit card accounts and in one case an attempt to transfer a large amount of money out of my account to an account in Japan. USAA caught all of these fraudulent attempts before they were completed, stopped the transactions, and notified me. Other credit card issuers have treated me as guilty until proven innocent and made resolving identity theft very difficult, unlike USAA which was on my side from the beginning. Home and auto claims over 44 years have been very few and minor but always handled quickly and professionally. In one case when I was not happy with a national repair agency USAA stepped in and resolved the issue through the agency's national headquarters. USAA has very few branch offices (generally near large military bases). I have on occasion needed to withdraw significantly more cash than my daily ATM limit and that was arranged with one quick phone call to USAA. USAA has always handled international wire transfers quickly and safely. Here's the bottom line: Any time an insurance sales person calls and asks how long I have been with my insurance company, when I say I'm with USAA they always say "Have a nice day."

I have been insured with USAA for more than 45 years. Every service I have requested from USAA has been handled professionally and courteously. There is not a better insurance company out there. Even my children are insured with USAA.

After researching quirky model reference, submitted corrected policy immediately. Always great to deal with, very professional and flawless customer service. Have been very happy with them for many years.

USAA has never been anything but beyond helpful and responsive. They are the nicest customer service people I have ever come into contact with and they will do everything possible to help you be a satisfied customer. My husband switched over to my accounts when we got married and saved $700 a year just in car insurance, not to mention a 10% decrease in credit card interest rates! I'll never use another bank.

We have been members of USAA for many years and their service has always been exemplary. Their representatives are professional and work hard to insure you get the best service at the best rate.

I needed my broken windshield replaced to pass my state's safety inspection. I filed a claim with USAA over the phone. It was a very easy process and they set me up with an appointment at a nearby auto glass repair shop. I had to pay the $100 deductible. I was very pleased with how easy and seamless the process was. I had no problem with the $100 deductible considering it cost $300 to replace the windshield.

USAA has great rates and customer service is incredible.

We've never had a bad experience with them. We called for assistance, and they called back a few minutes later with the name of the provider who would help us. The provider arrived in about a half an hour, and then USAA called back to make sure everything was resolved.

Very pleasant experience. I never thought I would say that about an insurance company, but I loved dealing with them. The fellow I spoke with on the phone was courteous and appreciated my sense of humor (laughed at my jokes without being phony). Their prices are good and I feel every comfortable insuring my car with them.

I was due for renewal with my previous carrier and their renewal rates had gone up by quite a bit. I was able to switch to USAA from my previous carrier at an annual savings of $470.

Representative was friendly and efficient. She was able to answer all my questions and help me decide on a floater that best suited my needs.

They were able to insure my classic car as well as my home, and the many musical instruments I own. They were very responsive and helpful and their customer service beats everyone. Their prices are also very good. It's obvious they're taking care of our nation's veterans.

I have 3 autos and my home insured with USAA. I had shopped around earlier and the cheapest I could find was Geico. After a buddy told me about USAA, Icalled them and my rates were cut over 25% and with lower deductibles! I have used them for over 3 years now and each time I've called them, they have been very eager to help me. Customer service is very important to them and I will never consider dropping them. They are the best!
