Description of Work: We have been customers with USAA for over 10 years now, we bank with them and have Auto and Home Owners Insurance with them.

Description of Work: Cannot recommend. Had to file a claim for some storm damage. Have a full coverage policy including water, flood, and earth movement. Company is acting like a low end insurance company giving me the run around. After 10 days of doing estimates and getting the repair work done as instructed, they assign an adjuster. After a week of the adjuster taking pictures and giving them information, a third adjuster in an office somewhere needs me to do the work all over again for them. I've given up, and am going to have to retain an attorney for a bad faith claim. And all this over a claim less than $20,000 on a house worth over $750k and holding a top of the line full policy. So much for what I've seen here. I wonder if there was anyone here from North Carolina.

Description of Work: The water heater in the ceiling leaked, causing the ceiling to partially collapse. USAA was out within an hour of our call, and a water remediation team showed up shortly thereafter. Both the insurance company and the companies they sent out were prompt, professional, and kept us informed of each step.

Description of Work: We have been customers of USAA for 17 years. Over that time, their service has completely deteriorated. We were in a parking lot collision in April 2012. The claims rep who was assigned to us did not call us despite multiple messages we left and did not reply to emails. After two weeks we called and requested a supervisor. During this call we discovered that not only had the adjuster already taken the story from the other driver but also that the police report had been received and was not disclosed to us despite our requests for it. Once we finally reviewed the police report we discovered it was inaccurate. USAA would not do a thing to help us get it corrected and determined my husband was at fault based upon the police report. We have recently started obtaining quotes from other companies. Almost all have been cheaper than USAA!

Description of Work: USAA is the best insurance company I have ever interacted with. I used their services for the better part of two decades and never had any negative experience. We insured two cars and our home through them. The hardest part of my recent move was learning that I was moving out of USAA service territory. I would absolutely unhesitatingly go back to them in a heartbeat if they offered services in my area. I recommend them without reservation.

Description of Work: I got separated and my husband took the truck. He didn't pay and I was never notified and it got repossessed. I found out about it on my credit report. I called then and explained the situation and asked them what I could do to make it right. They told me I had to pay some fees and an amount and it would be considered a closed issue. So I complied. At this time and over the next 6 years I had many accounts with them, credit and insurance in very good standing. Then 6 years later all of a sudden I could no longer log into my online account! I called them and they told me I was no longer allowed the convenience of online access and bill pay because I had a car repossessed. They said they had changed their online access agreement and I no longer met the rules. I explained the situation and told them I would close my accounts with them if I couldn't pay online. They said goodbye. So I closed my accounts that i had had for over 10 years! Very dissapointed with this company!
