Description of Work: They are our insurance provider. We had a hit and run accident and our vehicle was damaged. USAA sent an agent out to look over our vehicle and deposited into our account shortly afterwards. No hassle type of insurance for military personnel and veterans.

Description of Work: After going through the qualification process to be a USAA member I tried to acquire homeowners insurance from them in Florida as they are rated very high. Unfortunately, USAA would not underwrite a policy for me as we were too close to the coast. They did provide me with a quote from a third party provider that they use if they cannot write the policy themselves but I decided to go with a different company. I also tried to have them cover my two autos as well but their premiums where no different than that of my current insurance provider that I've been with for 20+ years. Overall they were very nice, very professional and a pleasure to speak with. Unfortunately we were just unable to do business with one another.

Description of Work: I am a USAA customer, and on February 12, 2014 during a ice/snow event I totaled my truck. I called USAA the next morning and they asked me if I was ok, and we're sorry to hear of the accident. A rental was made available to me immediately as of that date. They really took care of me and kept me updated during the entire process. I highly recommend them, been with them since 2003.

Description of Work: We have used USAA for our checking/savings account, credit cards, homeowner's insurance, and auto insurance for over 20 yrs. Our two adult children also use USAA. We have found USAA to be top-notch in service (two auto claims over the years), responsiveness (lost credit cards), and professionalism (handling questions or special requests over the phone). They also waive credit card fees for late payments up to one complete billing cycle. We fully recommend USAA to anyone who qualifies via a military connection.
