Description of Work: Retired military. Have been with USAA for about 45 years. We are with them for auto, homeowner, house, weather, credit card. Pricey but worth every dime. Have had some major claims thru the years. Prompt service, no increase after claim, never dropped from coverage. Truly an outstanding company, started by military and usually have retired general as CEO.

Description of Work: USAA is a great company. I have insurance through them, got my mortgage through them and a loan. This time I was looking to sell my house and they hook you up with a local realtor. They oversee the whole process and make sure you are happy with your realtor, which so far, I am.

Description of Work: My Prius's small battery died and I couldn't even open the door. USAA sent out a tow truck quickly to take me to the dealer to replace the battery. Friendly, considerate and professional.

Description of Work: I am a disabled Veteran from the Iraq War. I had some difficulty with my credit after returning home due to the VA granting my claims. |USAA, who claims to be for veterans, denied me coverage based on that and issues I had in regards to my disabilities! |There commercials make me sick, they really don't care about Veterans, just the bottom line like all other insurance companies. |Shortly after they denied me, I was able to secure a VA backed home mortgage at 4.125 percent interest rate. So you tell me, are they really for Vets.

Description of Work: wanted to use them for a VA loan, but everything they claimed they said they did, they really did not do. For example, I told them upfront I had some credit issues years ago and had filed bankruptcy in 2009 and it was all paid off. They made it clear that it was no problem because it was paid off. But a few weeks later after submitting all kinds of paperwork (most of which I had to submit twice for some reason), they final answer was no. But when they said no they never gave me a call to let me know anything about my application. It seems that the person I was dealing with had decided to say no, and then passed my paperwork over to someone else to contact me and let me know. But that person never made contact with me until, I called because i had not heard from them in a couple of weeks. I had to make several phone calls to them just to find out that their final answer was no. Very disappointing.

Description of Work: In this last instance I needed a new credit card and it normally takes 7-10 days to receive said card. However, for $8 I will receive the card in 2-3 days. The CSR was very professional and explained all of my options without rushing. She answered my questions and genuinely seemed interested in my understanding of her answers.
