Topaz Cleaning & Restoration

Topaz took a while to get a response on my order. The person that came was very nice, unfortunately my sofa's were too worn in places to get a real difference. But he was polite and tried his best. I guess I got what I expected from what I gave him to work with. (PS, I never really am satisfied with professional carpet/furniture cleaner results anyway - so I can at least say he was very nice)

They did an outstanding job. I hired them to do the tile through a deal and had hired another cleaner to clean the carpet upstairs through another deal. The carpet cleaner did not show up and this company picked up the slack without batting an eye. They worked out a great deal to do the carpet and the tile the same day. They got out all the stains upstairs in the carpet and the grout in the tile looks like new!

The tile was cleaned and a smooth caulk applied at the tub level. There was a little area that was missing grout and I wish they had quoted a price

The carpets look beautiful. Dave did a wonderful job on our silk carpeting. He got all of the pet stains out of the off white carpeting.

The original offer was just clean the carpet ($120). The Topaz offer to completely clean and remove the urine by soaking in vat of enzyme solution for a couple of weeks. Cost about $160 extra. When we got it back absolutely no urine smell or stains, looks great! Over all, the cost of of restoration and cleaning ($110), cost more than the actual carpet.

We bought the Topaz Oriental Rug Cleaning Deal. They promptly picked up the rug and bought it back.

They were timely and provided excellent service, even though they did not do any work. He provided excellent information and was very helpful.

Really good. Arrived just about right on time. Did great job of cleaning, especially on the floor part of the shower. Caulked the perimeter of the floor with a light colored caulk, so it did not match the brown grout that was there. It does look good, so that is not a problem. When I went behind him to reseal the grout, I found a couple of places where the grout had deteriorated that I had to fill in with caulking material. It was only a few minutes extra work for me, but I had to go the store to purchase color-matched caulk.

They did not do the work; rebidding for additional work seemed high. Felt as though I wasted half a day waiting for them so that the could tell me that the cost was 3 fold increase from the original deal.

All went well. Topaz is the same company that used to operate as Coit, San Antonio. We may have been among the first to post on Coit many years ago. We have posted occasionally since that time, always noting the excellent ratings this firm enjoys. Last year we had the entire house cleaned. This year it was four rooms, one large, that counted as 1 1/2 rooms. We've always had Jake, son of the owner, at our house and we always call to schedule with several convenient days in mind. We got the day and hour of our choosing by booking about a week ahead. Topaz has professional equipment and uses great care in protecting the house. They were at the house about two hours with set up and take down. The actual cleaning appears to be hard work. This cleaning should not be confused with the $100 for three room offers with portable equipment. I suggest all review the long, long history of this company.$190

I had an excellent experience working with Topaz. I spoke with the owner and he understood exactly what I was facing regarding the warranty on my new floors. Using the wrong cleanser or equipment could easily void it. The owner's son arrived on time and conducted himself very professionally. He assessed the situation and decided the safest process would be to use a gentle cleanser and a soft white cloth and hand clean each mark. He was on his hands and knees for a couple hours. My floors looked brand new afterward, which they should have since they were brand new. You couldn't tell that prior to the cleaning though. I was very impressed with how Topaz listened to and understood my concerns and then followed through with such personal care. I will use them without question for any other floor cleaning I need.

Was a little late...tire blew, but didn't call and let me know. I wanted them to fix some grout issues, but they don't do that--disappointed. Done quickly. Had to pay a bit because I had more granite than in the deal.

The technician showed up to my house on time. Was very polite. Cleaned up the granite first and then sealed it.

We were not exactly happy with it. It was not because they didn't do what we thought they were supposed to do but it was because Angie's List gave us information and we thought they were going to do something different than what they did. We told them we needed them to clean the inside of the dryer because it got feathers inside the dryer. All they did was dryer vent cleaning. They said that's all they could do. They couldn't do anything else. It was just a miscommunication kind of thing. They were fine as far as the work that they did. It was just not what we expected. They do not do the kind of work that we were asking them to do and we're asking Angie's List to do. They were great overall. They came shortly after the purchase.

Punctual & polite is the best. The worse is, didn?t do much good, not 100% satisfied. My granite got a real good cleaning, but it didn?t help it any. Price was fine, he put a lot of elbow grease into it.

On time, quick and professional. Carpets look great.
