They used drop cloths, disposable shoe booties to keep my floors clean. I liked the fact that they took the time to show me the interior of the old unit and the anatomy of the new unit along with the new safety features, etc. It was nice to learn how every thing works by being able to see it and get a brief lesson on the engineering and technology advancements. Tiger Services sold me my old units and serviced them for many years to my satisfaction. They have always been honest, prompt, professional and informative. I don't have to remember when my Spring and Fall Maintenace service is due since they always call me with a reminder until an appointment is set up.

They were great. They were polite and totaly on top of it. They did a good job and are a quality company.

Overall, the service has gone well. They're reliable and showed up on time!

.I have had wonderful service by very well trained, prompt courteous, clean, and friendly service technicians biannually for the maintenance and care of these units. Every Spring and Fall I get a service reminder call to set up an appointment for the prepaid maintenance on both units. The technicians then review the written report with me and give me a copy of all the things that were inspected and cleaned. Most of the time everything checked out. On occasion they would suggest something that had to be replaced, repaired, etc. to extend the longevity of my units and decrease my electrical bills.

This was the second problem this summer. Our home warranty company, HWA, sent out a "preferred" provider about 6 weeks before. They diagnosed the cause of our failing compressor to be a lightening strike b/c there had been storms about 10 days prior (and because HWA won't pay for lightening damage so the provider got to charge me full price). The preferred provider did some shoddy work to patch the unit. When it failed this time HWA sent out the same provider. They came out, told me it wasn't working b/c the breaker was flipped, and left. Great -- didn't even address why the breaker was flipped. Of course, it flipped again and my pregant wife and two toddlers are left without air conditioning. Rather than call HWA and get the same "preferred' scam artist, I called Tiger based on Angie's Lists reviews and a coupon we received in the mail. Thank goodness we called Tiger! They were great. The tech that came out on Saturday was young and inexperienced but prompt, responsive, and polite. He spent a while trying to sort everything out and get us going. He admitted he wasn't exactly sure what was going on but got the unit working. It failed about 10 minutes after he left. I called him, he apologized, and got us on the list for service Monday. Kenny Burrows came out on Monday. According to my wife this guys is a wizard. She said other techs kept calling him for help while he was working on our house. He found the problem quickly and got things going. He also cautioned us that the unit was on its last leg and we should start saving/preparing for a new unit. Sure enough, the unit has failed again about 1 month after Kenny fixed it. Because of the cost involved we put in another claim w/ HWA. They sent out a different preferred provider that is, so far, doing a good job. Still, we called Tiger today to come out and give us an estimate and opinion about replacing both our upstairs and downstairs systems. I trust Tiger and will gladly pay them for the estimate, their opinion, and their recomendation. I'll pay the difference to upgrade from whatever HWA wants to provide and what Tiger recommends.

They have a good reputation that is why I chose to use them.

Tiger Services Air beat out five others services I called by answering my questions truthfully and honestly. If they didn't know they said so and they got back to me once they found out. They were on time, they did the work over one day. They were courteous and knew what they were doing and they did a phenomenal job. I have recommended them to three other people since then.

Our AC went out over the Memorial Holiday weekend. Mike came out the same day anad gave an estimate. They were able to obtain the equipment on the holiday and did the installation that day. Joe and Jonathan performed the installation and were very courteous, respectful and pleasant. They did an excellent job and explained everything they were doing as they were doing it and went over the system with me after the job was completed. They worked until nearly 7 p.m. to make sure my system was up and running that same day.

I thought they were great. They were very thorough and upfront about their fees. There were no hidden fees and the customer service on the phone is great and pleasant. They are willing to work with you and that is a great thing as well. Their customer service is at the top. I would use them again if I needed to.

Pretty much described above. I'd consider using them again, but would want a complete estimate before work began. In addition, I was eligible for two different discounts, the Angie's List discount coupon and a veterans discount though only one could apply. When I pointed out that the discount they were using would cost me extra, they said, yes, but it would only be a few dollars. I suppose I could have demanded the discount be changed, but I didn't. push it. Overall I wasn't happy.

We have two heat pump units in our two story house. The upstairs unit went out and Tiger came out and replaced a capacitor and got things back up and running within 24 hours of the call. The following week the downstairs unit went out and it needed to be replaced. We called about the unit on saturday morning and a technician was out there that afternoon. Once he determined that it would be cost prohibitive to fix the unit he called his sales team who came out a couple of hours later.They worked with us and explained all of our options. They were very nice and patient. They did a quick calculation and determined that the unit was oversized given the heating load required for our house. Because of that we couldn't just replace the outside unit, we needed to replace everything. Well I wasn't happy with that answer and asked if there were any band-aids we could apply rather than replace the whole unit. Tiger discussed with us the pros and cons of all of our options.We called three more vendors and they all agreed with the assessment (we did not tell them what Tiger had said) and gave us their quote for replacement. In the end we used Tiger, their price was in the middle of the pack, but they were able to do financing which helped substantially with the stress. Once we told them what we wanted they were there the next day to do the install.

A/C was just blowing hot air. Called Tiger Services to schedule an appointment. The person who answeredthe phone was very courteous and professional and set up an appointment the same day. The service technician,Kenny, explained everything that needed to be done, answered all of my questions, and completed the job in a timely manner. I could not have had a better experience. These people are great. I will definitely use Tiger Services again.

It went very well. The price was right, service was timely and they were professional. They came back out and checked out a problem, and fixed it as soon as possible. They walked me through everything and I agreed with everything they said when they left.

If there were a rating for A++, they would get it. We contacted them and within 24 hours they came out and gave us an estimate. I scheduled the replacement of units the next day. The HVAC professionals were very polite, friendly and took great care to protect our floors from damage as they carried equipment and tools into the house. This was a two day job and I can't say enough about how professional and polite they were. They gave us all the care instructions and showed us how to maintain the systems. They then filled out all of the paperwork for CPS energy and submitted it for us because we have a rebate coming due to the high efficiency of the systems they installed. I won't use anyone else in San Antonio.

I have a contract with them. They did a good job.

Tiger Services were great! This was the third time I have used them. They gave me a discount on the unit itself. I have always used them for maintenance at my house. These guys know what they are doing. I will give them an "A" on everything.

We needed someone to replace our duct work in our house and had been putting it off for a while. Our two guest rooms had almost no air and so it was hot in summer and cold in winter. With a baby on the way, we needed to have the entire house at a consistent temperature. Tiger was excellent at meeting our needs. We actually had them out for another issue which was a motor replacement in our system. During this visit, I asked the technician about our ducts and he was really good about giving us basic information, but suggested we have their specialist come out and check airflow and inspect our ducts. I received a call the next day from Mike and he was very accommodating with setting up an appointment. Upon his visit, Mike climbed into our attic, took pictures and showed us the reason why our system didn't work in all the rooms. The ducts were very deteriorated in spots and the configuration was apparently inefficient. It didn't take much convincing to allow Tiger to proceed with the work. Once again, Mike and the team were very accomodating as I had to reschedule once due to unexpected events. However, 3 days later, the team arrived at our house and began their work. They were very professional and everything was done as Mike explained it. The 2-man team removed all our old duct work and installed the new equipment over a period of about 10 hours. This included their clean-up (which was thorough), adjusting the dampers for for flow, and spending time with me on an inspection and explanation of the warranty. The results were better than we expected. There is a definite difference in the house. Not only are the rooms that had poor heating/cooling working great, but there is even a noticeable improvement in the rooms that we though worked well before. I expect that our next electric bill will be much different than the years past.

They always come out that night or the next day. They always seem to work me into the schedule. The technician always calls before he comes. They always wear shoe covers in the house. They explain everything about the basic maintenance that needs to be done until they come out the next time. They are great and I love them.

One of my friends referred but they do great work. I have a service contract with them and they come twice a year; i.e. during the spring and once during the fall to service the unit. I will continue to use them in the future.

We returned from out of town to discover that the air conditioning was not working. Since we have a recurring service agreement with Tiger Services, I called their number late on Sunday evening. They called me the following morning to see whether I could be there at 9:00 AM. Jeff arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem: a faulty capacitor in the compressor circuit. He replaced the part and verified that everything was running correctly. He also inspected the entire system for any other problems. He was friendly and professional, and the whole experience was very pleasant.

They actually ended up doing some repairs as well. They are very honest. They do excellent work. We've been using them for about 10 years. We had not used them in between for about three years. We have always found them to be very honest and very thorough in what they do. They are fairly priced too, but it is a bit on the high side.

They came about 4 times and initially advised things were gone. Then I asked them to replace it, and they kept replacing part by part. Later, the entire went and nothing would work. They were unable to fix the problem and then I had to replace the unit. They tried their best to diagnose the problem and fix it, but were unsuccessful. I still like them and will use the same in future.

i've been using Tiger Services now for about a year and have just come off their service agreement. Up to this point I've been very pleased with their work and prices, but the issue I had with this service call was entirely around price. I had yet to renew my service agreement and could not believe what the "non service agreement" rates would cost me for this job. Here essentially what happened. Tiger came out and provided same day service to our unit. My wife took time off from work to let Tiger service the unit, and it wasn't until later that evening that we really had a chance to review the bill closely. My issue was essentially the fact that there was no transparency on the bill between parts and labor. I called Tiger Services 3 times to speak with the service manager to provide this break down for me, but was never able to reach him. He did return one of my calls and was unable to reach me, but didn't make any attempt to return my last call or provide any other instructions on a good time to reach him. I gave up after my 3rd attempt. In total we paid $332 dollars for the service ($244 was for the repair/parts and $88 was a diagnostic fee). The price I would have paid had I been a "service agreement" member would have been $202. The difference between these two prices is $130 or roughly 64% more than the service agreement price. Its safe to assume at the service agreement price Tiger is making money, so anything above is pure profit. I understand Tiger would want those customers not on their service plan to pay a bit more, but 64% more. I can't help but feel I was really taken. What also burns me is the fact that I still don't have any clue as to to what the part cost Tiger and how much they ultimately made for 1 hrs work. If we assume the part cost no more than $100 (and suspect it probably cost no more than $35), then tiger's hourly rate is $332. Does that seem reasonable to anyone? Or does that seem like outright gouging? If Tiger responds they will of course stand by their price, and talk about the costs of running a business and the costs to drive to and from my house, but keep in mind we know what I would have been charged had I been a service agreement member (which is sufficient to operate profitably) so the question you need to ask is if it's reasonable to charge 64% more for not being a service member. That is the message to anyone considering using Tiger. If you are not a service agreement member, prepare to pay lots more for any work they perform.
