Everything turned out well. The gentleman showed on time for the appointment, he did a good job with the tune up, and scheduling the work was easy.

John came out and identified the problem and made arrangements to get city certificates and appointment to return and complete the repairs. He was timely and very professional and his fees were reasonable. I will definitely use him again.

We were unable to use our sprinkler system due to the link and had just had the front yard re-sodded. We were forced to hand-water until we discovered the Lawn Sprinkler Guy. I called John Flores and explained our situation, and somehow he worked us in to his busy schedule and came out to check out the leak and ended up just repairing it on the spot. What a relief that was. And his repair job corrected some earlier inefficient installation when the system was originally installed. He did a superb job and really came to our rescue. A+

It was a good experience. The big deal was for $45. There were some additional charges to the tune of $75. He is a very responsive, very thorough and very knowledgeable professional. It was all consistently professional, and they addressed all my concerns.

After installing a new deck, we found our backyard sprinkler system not working. One section wouldn't come on, and after the last run, the system would not turn off even after shutting off the electricity to the unit. We had to shut the water off at the street, and we couldn't water at all. John knows his business, for certain - the job seemed impossible, and we expected everything might need to be replaced. We believed the new deck covered the problem area. He worked around the deck. Found wiring that needed repaired, a very small pebble keeping the water flow open, and tracked and fixed the issues for a section that did not function. Took some digging to find breaks and then rewiring to make it all right. The old controls did not allow us to schedule weekly watering, and he replaced the controls so it is now updated and easy to use. We are planning our future landscaping needs now, and we will definitely call The Lawn Sprinkler Guy for the project. John is knowledgeable, thorough - and funny! Pricing is reasonable. He's busy but worth the wait if the schedule is full.

It was a Thursday afternoon. Our house was going to be inspected on Saturday morning and I was going through everything one last time to make sure there'd be no surprises during our inspection. Being the middle of winter, we hadn't turned our sprinklers on in months and though I had no reason to suspect any problems, I discovered several heads were out of adjustment and some others appeared to be leaking. I was out of time and now - thanks to the imminent inspection - I was in a panic. I called a couple of other Angie's List providers and explained the situation. Both were very nice and professional, but neither could get to the job in time - completely understandable given the lack of notice. I then called John at The Lawn Sprinkler Guy. I started going through my now well-rehearsed "I've got an urgent problem but I doubt you could come in time" spiel when John stopped me and said he could do the job. He promised he could come by no later than noon the next day, and possibly, earlier. Turns out, it was earlier. He was on the job by 9:00 the next morning, and by 10:30, he had everything working properly. He even called the following week to see how our inspection went! If there's a more professional and personable sprinkler contractor than John Flores, I haven't heard of them. I won't hesitate to use his services again or to recommend his services to others.

He tested the system. Some parts were old and needed to be replaced. He gave me a discount on the new system and it works very well. I would recommend him highly. I intend to use him for any future services needed on my sprinkler system. John was on time and very pleasant. He explained everything so I understood what had gone wrong and what needed to be replaced.

Required replacing some sprinkler heads

The first time he came one of the zones was not working. He thought it was fixed but it was not. I called him several times to let him know. His wife call me back and scheduled for Sept. 11. At this time my problem was solved.

I called John for an estimate to fix quite a few issues with my sprinker system (broken lines, heads, etc) and on first contact, the company seemed very disorganized. The lady who scheduled my appointment for an estimate set it for the wrong day (It also took 2+ weeks for an opening). When he finally did get to my house, I was assuming he was determining an estimate (I specifically told him as well as the lady who I spoke with that I didn't want anything done until I got the cost)... he reprogramed my sprinkler system and after walking around told me that he "didn't see it costing a lot". I asked for an estimate of the work and all he could tell me was "probably less than $300". He then asked for a check for $55 and told me he'd call me back next Friday to do the repairs. I've yet to hear from him (2 weeks later) and really upset I wasted 1 month dealing with him (not to mention the $55 that I paid him to reprogram my sprinker system - which I didn't ask for).

My wife handled this one. She did mention that he was in and out pretty quick and had no real feedback other than the system was ok. I wish that he would have done some type of adjustment as I knew that some of the heads were turned in the wrong direction etc so it felt kind of like a rush job. It was a groupon I believe.

He is great. I have nothing bad to say about him. He’s prompt, knowledgeable and he knows what he’s doing.

He was good. He was one of the first ones I used. He did charge me $35 to replace a sprinkler head. He took the time to show me all of the sprinkler heads and where all of the boxes in the ground were. He took the time to teach me about my own sprinkler system in the house that we had just bought. I thought that that was awesome. I would use him again.

Rescheduled twice and then when he did show up, didn't fix the problem. Disappointed.

The Lawn Sprinkler Guy, that one was great, that was great. We would use them again. I would give them 'A's across the board.

.John arrived a little early, and investigated the problem.He was able to fix it in no time. After the repair he checked out the system and adjusted pressure and heads. I have had some issues since we built the house and the system was installed, He adjusted the times for watering which might help some. he also gave me an idea how much it would run to add more heads, but suggested that I wait to do that later if I need to. he was very courteous and informative.
