The Lawn Sprinkler Guy

The price was reasonable at that time. He was on time and was very easy to talk to. The work that he did was very good and I didn't have any problems with it for the summer. He was very responsive because he came out when I called him. The price was average. He was punctuality was good and better than others. He was very professional.

We noticed a wet area by a sprinkler head, dug it up thinking it would be a quick/easy fix. That head wasn't leaking so continued to trench the line. We dug up over 30 foot of pvc and replaced it all thinking the leak was somewhere along the line. After we replaced it, we still had water coming from under our concrete deck and accumulating on the side of the house. Called a master plumber to come out and check it out. He came to the conclussion it wasn't from inside the house. That was when we called John, because of the reports and grades he has recieved on Angies List. He came out and looked around trying to figure out if it was the sprinkler or pool leaking. He stayed for two hours the first day and then came up with a plan to run pvc through a drain pipe under the concrete the next day. After starting to trench the end of the deck he found a empty pipe to run the new line through. It solved the leaking and now the pipe is located in another pipe which gives it protection under the concrete.

He was very prompt and courteous. He cleaned up very well after himself. His pricing was very reasonable.

It is amazing because he works alone. He does not have a crew it's just him. I was impressed at how quickly he got to me. He was very good at diagnosing what exactly the problem was and being able to use existing pipes to take care of the problem. He knows so much about the sprinkler parts that he did not have to lay new line or anything like that. He is very reasonably priced and he does excellent quality work. I will absolutely use him again in the future.

He came out and gave me an estimate. He scheduled us within a few days. All the work was completed satisfactory. He showed me how to program the system.I will use him again and recommend him to friends.

I chose John due to his multiple A+ Angie's List ratings, and was not disappointed! I had several gaps in sprinkler coverage, and with the recent drought/heat, had several dead spots in my lawn. On John's initial visit, he determined that one of my front yard zones had too many sprinkler heads for the water flow; after further investigation, he discovered that the pressure regulator between the water meter and the house was installed "upstream" of the sprinkler main line. The sprinklers were operating with 50-75% of the pressure they were designed to use. John replaced the pressure regulator with a new one (installed in the appropriate spot); after fixing this "main" problem, he ran all of the sprinkler zones, re-aimed the heads, and replaced several heads to ensure complete coverage. I felt that John's service, professionalism, and price were outstanding! He was on time, correctly analyzed the problem, and corrected it quickly and effectively. Super job!

He was punctual. He checked all the zones and adjusted all the sprinklers for optimum coverage. In the backyard he adjusted all the heads so water no longer sprayed into the new pool. I needed a systems check and aim adjustment and that's what I got. He was flexible and willing to do the work when it was convenient for me so I didn't have to use vacation time. I will be calling him again for my sprinklers.

He is good natured and checks if all the sprinkler system is working fine. He is very dependable, responsive and always answers my phone calls. The quality of his work is good and I have been satisfied with his service.

John arrived on time and proceeded to check out the system to see what was needed. Then he replaced the 3 pop up heads that were bad. Then he set the auto control.

The job went very well and I was happy with the work. I lost my original receipt so I could get an adjustment on my water bill and John Flores sent me a duplicate by e-mail.

I phoned The Lawn Sprinkler Guy for a free estimate. Mr. Flores arrived promptly, conducted a through examination, and would call with the estimate later in the day. He did call back with an estimate and I asked for less to the done which he changed without comment. We set a date for the work to be done and I was called two days before the work to confirm the date. Mr. Flores and Raul (his helper) arrived promptly at the time arranged. After about an hour, I changed my mind to better equipment to be installed. Again, the changes were made and the final bill was quite acceptable. Also, I received a receipt for the work. Thanks.

John was professional and responsive. He was on time, thorough, and absolutely knows what he is doing. He did not request payment up-front, but completed the job before presenting the invoice. Our irrigation system was a complete mess. John worked most of the day in the hot August sun to fix the system so it is totally functional and easy to operate. He was pleasant, explained what he was doing, and had all the equipment necessary to complete the job. I was so impressed, I referred him to my neighbor that same day and he was able to fix her issues.

John fixed exactly what needed to be fixed.

If I could award A+++++ to John, I would. Punctuality (2 days); responsibility; competence; knowledgeable; personable; and all the other accolades from his satisfied customers. He has all the attributes of an excellent repair person and a gentleman - hard to find these days. GREAT JOB! Don't hesitate to call him!

He is obviously in high demand since the appointment was set to be about two weeks after I initially called. As requested, he called 1/2 hour before going to my house so that I could leave work and meet him. He was very professional and efficient and obviously knew exactly what he was doing. He also showed me how to adjust sprinkler heads myself and gave me the special key apparatus to do this. An extremely good experience all-around.

Literally two days before moving out of my house (bad luck, right?), I had a large underground leak in my front yard. I called John about 9 am on a SUNDAY morning, he called back in 5 minutes and over the phone told me how to turn off the system so that the leak would stop. He understood my time constraints and made it out the next day to perform the repair. It took him about 30-40 minutes, no issues. Worked good as new.

Bought a new home and noticed some areas of yard were not getting watered so I call John "The Sprinkler Guy" to have him evaluate and estimate what it would take to bring it up to par. He came when he said he would and told me from just walking my yard that all I needed was some tweaking. I told him when can he come back and fix me up but he said "I can do it now in less than 30 minutes" and I said are you finished yet? I have not problem recommending him or using him again and again. He also told me I could call him anytime and if it is something he can walk me thru on the phone he would be happy to. WHERE DID THIS GUY COME FROM!!!!

Left msg on Tues around noon to call me. He called me Tues evening. He said he will come by Thurs or Fri, perhaps even Weds, if possible. Would call me in advance . He called me Weds morning to say he could visit on Thurs. He called Thurs a.m. to say he could come by now. He arrived 30 min later and got down to work. He quickly assessed system performance and performed all work promptly. He has a pleasant personality and attitude.

He responded very quickly. He did the work quickly. He did everything I wanted. I did not have any problem with him. He worked on an old system and made it work very efficiently

John, worked around my schedule and arrived on time. In short order he diagnosed the issue and had the entire system up and running within an hour. The system needed two new valves and 4 new heads. John has a great demeanor and is very easy to work with. I will definitely use him every time.

He comes out whenever I need him. We had 3 to 4 sprinkler people come out and they were not able to fix our sprinkler system. He came out and immediately diagnosed the problem and told me what had to be done. He then fixed it and now he comes out and does the periodic check on it. He is very reasonable. I have recommended him to my neighbor. When he was there with our neighbor, he checked with us to see if we needed anything. He does not have any office staff. He seems to be always available- I might have to wait for a day or two unless it?s an emergency. He is always clean.

John confirmed the service call the night before--he arrived exactly when he said he would. He gave a reasonable bid and we scheduled service for the following week. He showed up at the promised time and performed the service. He did all of his own work quickly and professionally.
