He was terrific. He did everything he needed to do. He helped us diagnosis a couple problems that we didn’t even know they existed. I have no complained at all. He was reasonable and fast. He was willing to teach my husband things so we could it ourselves.

Was wondering why my yard seemed to be turning brown when the system was operating on the required days..First visit determined we had a bad water meter and not allowing enough flow to support the system...However, John was able to at least fix the drip line leaks...Next visit when meter was fixed we adjusted heads and system rocks..... EXCELLENT!!!

Overall John was clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. He completed the work in a couple of hours and showed me step-by-step how to program my sprinkler system. The only drawback was that he seems to be extremely busy (probably because he is in such high demand) and took a couple of days to get back with me. Other than that, I highly recommend his company for all of your sprinkler needs.

I found him on the Angie’s list and got a $50 deal to use his service. He is pretty good. I rate him very highly and I would use him again in the future.

Worse service ever. I paid through Angie's promotional 50% discount and he came once, tried to get the work done and stopped because the ground was very wet. He said he would contact me back, but didn't. I had to take time off of work to meet him, but he didn't show up a couple of times. I have called to set up reschedule, but he has not returned my call. I am very disappointed and will be seeking a refund of my money. This is the worse service I have ever received...

I want this to be fair ... I signed up thru the "Deal" for a $49 inspection ... the write up on that implied there would be SOME adjustment and cleaning performed as well as inspection and recommendation. I knew from the outset $49 was not going to fix all of my sprinkler woes but I really expected a bit more than "consultation". I had some difficulty getting an appointment but attribute that to "the deal" being offered. John was early for the appointment and had called me to be sure I was home since he was early. I appreciate that and punctuality is a hot button for me .. so far so good. My system is "a mess" ... OLD and since I have done the maintenance for 20+ years poorly maintained. Upon arrival John listened to my story and began running the system thru the different zones and inspecting the performance, identifying many problems and making good suggestions for repair. Once he had run thru all zones he was basically finished ... huh?? I asked him what I was getting for my $49 and he said "a handshake and a smile" ... now I know he was just kidding but other than pointing out problems I already knew I had and recommending a local supply house for parts, suggesting types of heads and some schooling on appropriate glue type ... that's basically all I got. He quoted me a very wide range of cost for system repair and went to his next appointment. No adjustment, no head cleaning ... nada ... This was NOT $50 well spent in my opinion. I blame this not on John, he's a nice guy and I am sure very good at his trade ... the problem in my opinion is the "Deal" presentation ... I won't call it "bait and switch" but I've been to used car lots under similar circumstances ... I might use John in the future if I wanted to pay the price but I would make very sure I knew EXACTLY what I was getting for my money ... The clear caveat here in my opinion is .... watch out for these "Deals" sanctioned by Angies List ... sometimes you may get exactly what you expected ... I did not.

Finally got an answer back to my calls and emails after commenting on Angie's List. I have used him in the past, and this year I purchased a Big Deal for this year's service. He was apparantly swamped with cutomers because of the Big Deal response. His rep called last week and set up today's visit. He called about and hour out and was on time. He did a great job checking each station and he replaced one sprinkler head that always gets trashed by the lawn service people. Very happy with is service.

Came for inspection but never came back to do the work. It took a long time to get him to our home and when he finally came he was in a hurry. I guess thats price we pay for doing business with a popular business. We are looking for someone else to do the work.

John Flores is amazing. He was chatting and working at furious pace AND made it look easy. His work was completed in less than an hour and would have taken me at least a half day. I would definately use John again.

He will not call back and when you get him he has a 100 excuses.

Before I could use the coupon my husband accidently cut wires on the system. I called for an appointment and told John that he would have to rewire before he could check the system because it wouldn't work. He arrived early. He had to figure out the wiring because the main wires were cut. After he finished wiring and was checking the spray heads he found that I had a leak. He dug it up and it showed that the pvc pipe did not have glue on the joint. He dug it out repaired and covered. He adjusted several heads and replaced one that was not functioning correctly. I was very pleased. John was courteous, prompt and knowledgeable. I willl use and recommend him.

I called this company several times in the last few months. Never heard back. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, I called him again last week requesting a call back - left voice messages on his cell and office numbers. Never heard back. I totally understand that businesses have the right to choose who they want to service. At the same time, I also believe that if a customer takes the time to call a business and call them multiple times, customer deserves a call back, even if the answer is "I am too busy to take new business"... I think it is rude to simply ignore calls.I try not to write negative reviews as this has consequences on future growth, nor do I want to hurt his business. Since Angie's List continues to insist and sends reminders for reviews, I thought I should at least let the owner know so that he can fix his front-office and not lose business.

The Lawn Sprinkler Guy installed a lawn irrigation system at my home. I was happy with the quality work performed. I have not had any problems with the system. The owner and crew showed up at the scheduled appointment times and were professional. The price was reasonable and competitive with other companies in the area. I was given a 10% discount for finding them on Angie's List.

The sprinkler guy came out and adjusted all my sprinkler heads. Only one need replacing. He pointed out things that could be repaired but there was not an immediate need, so I appreciate his honesty. Easy to work with and honest. I would use him again.

He arrived on time, inspected my entire sprinkler system, zone by zone. I'm a "do it yourselfer" but needed expert advise on whether my system was working well. He replaced broken heads and answered my questions on how to maximum my lawn and flower beds to get maximim watering efficiency. He offered to do it for me and wasn't "pushy", I opted to try to do it myself, but will DEFINITELY call him back if I need his advanced skills. I have saved his contact information for the future.

Everything was done efficiently and timely and best of all, I was not charged an arm and a leg for the service repairs. I would definitely use him again and would recommend him to all of my friends.

He stayed in touch to confirm the appointment and arrival time. Punctual. Went right to work and identified the faulty wiring in the controller that prevented one of the cycles from working. He rewired the system. Also identified a broken sprinkler head and repaired this ($5). Adjusted the coverage of each head. Gave me a lesson in the finer points of the controlled and walked me through the adjustments. The entire service went very quickly and left me with a perfectly functioning system. Highly recommended for any sprinkler system problems or maintence.

John has fixed and relocated a number of sprinkler heads throughout my yard. I've used him multiple times and have recommended him to my family as well. He's honest, professional and reliable.

Set up an appointment for a Monday holiday; technician was courteous and arrived on time. He checked, adjusted or repaired every sprinkler head on the property. He even found the source of a mysterious leak under our stone walkway in the back yard...whoever laid the steps had jerry-rigged a srew plug into one of the sprinkler heads, then rested the stone directly on top of it, causing a substantial leak whenever the system was turned on. The Sprinkler Guy replaced the damaged sprinkler head with a real plug, immediately stopping the leak. He also replaced a faulty switch in a part of the system that was not working properly. Overall a very good job!

John was prompt and professional. He is an honest man who did exactly what he said he would do.

I could not have been happier with John's work. I found his name through one of the Angie's List "deals." We just bought a home that needs to be re-landscaped. When I landscape my yard in the spring, he will be the person who modifies my system to fit the new landscape.

I bought the Big Deal ($45) for tune-up and inspection of irrigation system. I had to leave two messages but was able to get an appointment within a week and a half at a time convenient for me. John put on a sprinkler head where I'd had one capped and raised another head for an additional charge of $10.00. He checked all stations and adjusted sprinkler head directions where necessary, set the timer for the amount of winter watering needed, went over the cut-off system with me, as well as additional information on the water sensor. He noted that the "flickering" on the box indicated that the controller may be near going out but said to wait until it does to replace it (loved that there was no sales job to replace now!). He arrived on time and completed the inspection of 4 stations in about 30 minutes. I had used John's service previously a couple of years ago when he installed a backflow and rain sensor and did some work on the system and heads. I was very pleased then with his work and price, so I had no hesitation about using him this time.
