Outstanding job. If I need any addtional work done, I would not hessitate to call the Lawn Sprinkler Guy

Not impressed. Just turned on the system zones and said 'yup, they all work'. Did not attempt to clean any sprinkler heads not even adjust any. As he was leaving, even said it was a shame to even charge us for this service.

I had them inspect the irrigation and timer to make sure everything was running the way it was suppose to. They did have to replace one of the sprinkler heads. They were punctual, professional, and efficient. I would use them again.

Great job! Did exactly what they were hired to do for LESS than I anticipated.

He came out, looked at our system, and told us which heads needed to be replaced. I did schedule him. He was very professional. I would have him come out again.

They arrived on time. They fixed what was wrong at a really reasonable cost. I would definitely use this company again.

I was extremely dissatisfied with the service I was provided. The only reason this was not an F rating is John showed up on time and was pleasant. However, as noted in the sevice provided, John showed up twice and never fixed anything. I had to book several weeks in advance to get him out for the first visit. He came out and performed what I thought was a decent job of checking my system. He identified heads that needed replacing but then, because he couldn't fix the non-working zone, he opted to leave without fixing anything. Two weeks later, after several phone calls, he returned to fix the zone that was not working. He showed up on time the second time, brought the tool, but was unsuccessful in finding the valve in the yard so that he could fix it. I'm not sure why, perhaps to save me money, he told me to start probing around in my yard to find the valve and then call him to come back out and fix it. That was the end of it. I didn't call him back and he didn't follow up. So for my $50, I got the battery replaced in my controller box (I even provided the battery), a zone that still didn't work and sprinkler heads that need replacing (they just stick and stay up after coming on but thought that it wouldn't cost much to replace since he was already here). I subsequently called another company, they came out and found the valve for the non-working zone (also identified the other six zones for me) and repaired it. Took about an hour and a half. Hate to write such a negative review because John was a nice guy, but I can't recommend him because he couldn't/wouldn't fix anything in two trips.

I called about an appointment. They had a wait list of 4 weeks .Okay. After the 4 weeks, they called to say that the truck was not working and had to re-shedule us. Because of where I live, I was informed that I had to wait another 2 weeks. I reminded the woman at the office that I had already paid for the tune-up. I saw no reason for having to wait so long again. She told me, rudely, that it didn't matter because they were given 90 days to perform the service. It was when they tried to re-schedule us again for the 3rd time that I became insistent. I firmly told that that was enough.They'd better come to finish the job for which they were already paid for. Once the lawn guy was here, he was just rude. He tried to show me how to replace the heads. He kept saying how "easy" it was. If I could replace them myself, I wouldn't have to put up with people like that.

I had a hard time getting in touch with him. He did come out initially but didn't have the tools he needed for the job. We set up multiple appointments that he didn’t show up for. I was able to get in touch with his mother and she said he had hurt his back. I wound up using someone else to get my sprinklers fixed.

I purchased an Angie's Deal from the Sprinkler Guy to inspect and adjust my system. I knew I had a leak in the system and asked for that repair at the same time. The Sprinkler Guy came out, checked things out and returned a few days later to take the job. Good work, fair price.

I have used him twice and continue to do business with him. He does provide good service.

Very well. John is prompt, courteous, takes the time to explain the problem and seems to be very fairly priced.

When John arrived, he first inspected the water meter. He showed me how to see if any water was being used or not. If I had had a leak, the red triangle on the meter would have been moving. It wasn't moving. He turned on the hose and the triangle began to move. So -- no leak. He then inspected the sprinkler stations. Found a bad sprinkler head, but that would not have accounted for the water bill. Sprinkler head fixed. John then reviewed the settings on the sprinkler control system and discovered that an additional program had been set at 4 hours per station. This was in addition to my regular schedule on another program. He reset the sprinkler control, eliminating the extra program,and things should be okay now. Really appreciate this knowledgeable, professional and honest service provider. I will certainly continue using him.

He did come out promptly initially, but it took a while to get the diagnosis, and longer to get the quotes. He charged me to come out for an estimate. I've since emailed him asking for a refund per the recommendation of the other service providers I've worked with, and I haven't gotten any response in regards to this.

As usual, work went great. It began on time, was thorough and showed the operation working very well. Mr. Flores explained the work and any changes he was making clearly and completely. His knowledge and professionalism are greatly appreciated.

I joined Angie's List in 2008 and John Flores was one of the first providers I contacted. I have used him for all my sprinkler needs since then and have given his name to friends and neighbors who have also used him on a regular basis. John works quickly & efficiently but takes the time to listen to all my concerns and answers all my questions. Over the years, I've had him replace valves as needed and replace my controller. I've found his prices to be better than others I've contacted. I purchased the Angie's List Deal for a sprinkler tune up for $49 earlier this year, but was in no rush to use it since my system was working well. John & I made plans for him to come on 9/27 (no definite time). He called when he was nearby and we agreed on a time. John arrived when he said he would. I didn't have any major problems, but had several sprinklers I thought needed to be adjusted. He corrected the spray patterns on those I pointed out, as well as several others when he saw that parts of my lawn weren't getting enough water. He also raised several of my heads with extenders so they would do a better job of covering the area with water and charged me an extra $10 for parts ( very reasonable). John is popular and busy, so he can't always get to customers as quickly as he would like. I let him know when my request is something that can wait (like this tune up), because I know that if I really need him he'll make every effort to get to me as soon as possible.

Our lawn sprinklers were leaking after they were shut off. John Flores tested the system to isolate the problem valve. Then he dug up the valve, drove to the store, bought a replacement and installed it. The first valve didn't work, so he replaced it with a second. Then he looked at every sprinkler head, made certain they were working and aimed where we wanted them aimed. He showed me how to aim the heads so we wouldn't need a service call if our needs changed in a minor way such as that. His $125 charge included the new valve. I would have happily paid $200-$225 for this high-quality work from a fellow who clearly takes pride in what he has learned and can do.

I've used John the Lawn Sprinkler Guy three times and have reccomended him to everyone I know who needs any help with their sprinkler system. He is GREAT and the price is low for outstanding work.

Arrived on time, presented identification, and business card. Toured yard and sprinkler system and individual sprinkler heads. He took his time checking all areas, etc. He was never rushed nor hurried. He explained clearly and showed me what needed to be repaired and why. Very professional, personal, and easy to work with. He explains everything in good detail.

Great job as always. I've used John twice before, once to check out and repair the system when I was buying the house, later to install rain sensor and repair a broken line. Works really fast; very knowledgeable and personable. Always offers cost-savings suggestions. This time advised me where, what and how much re: getting head extensions to correct sunken heads and allow them to rise above grass. Would have cost $70-$80 to fix for me. Only downside is length of time to get an appointment, which is due to demand for John's superb services. It's worth the wait. I'm scheduling next year's checkup now. Oh, my cost was low because of Angie's List Big Deal coupon for the system checkup.

John was punctual and thoroughly explained everything to me concerning my system. I was very pleased with his service and economical pricing and would use him again.
