Since then we've continued to work with John for subsequent repair service. John is very thorough and knowledgable.  + -1 moreJohn Flores, sprinkler guy, is very fair and has taken care of my sprinkler system for maybe two plus years. He has fixed broken pipes, heads, wiring, etc. I trust him completely. However, I notice that he is no longer doing work along with Angie. I would use him again, and again. Lucy Almaguerp for $49. He gets booked fast.  + -1 moreWhen I purchased this deal through Angie's List I understood that it was for a sprinkler tune-up. I will give credit for the job being done to a certain degree. It was obvious that the technician was in a rush to get to the next home. He did explain to me that there were more deals sold that he had planned for. This did not make me feel like I was a valued customer. When the technician arrived he started the work at a fast pace. I tried to express my concerns for the broken sprinklers and areas that did not get coverage but it was obvious that was not prior. He told me he would call me back later and set up a time for repairs but that call never came. Overall I was not happy with the experience and just recently called another company on Angie's list that responded the same day, fixed every problem I had and charged a fair price! That's the type of service that I value!
Description of Work: Tuned up sprinkler system. Made two heads higher to provide additional coverage on tall shrubs (at an additional cost).

 + -1 moreWe had a big muddy spot in the front yard. John, the Lawn Sprinkler Guy, came over once without charge and told us how to troubleshoot the problem. After we determined that it was a leaking sprinkler valve, he came back and replaced the valve. He also found another valve leaking and repaired it. We are very satisfied with the service and price.

We hadn't programmed it correctly and he programmed it for us so that it would water our lawn at the right time, day, and amount. He also explained the sprinkler heads to us. For his help and expertise I feel that we got our money's worth.

 + -1 moreays laterwith the meter finally replaced, john had to dig a large hole to fix the leak....he did a wonderful job..
Description of Work: John came and checked all my sprinkler heads......while doing this he found that my water meter was not working, and because of this and also finding a leak in my system, he could not leave my sprinkle system on until the meter was replaced. I called the water company to report what John told me and they said they would send some one in a FEW days.......this was on July 13th.......so, l waited a FEW days and when nothing happened, l called again and they said l was in the system. to make a very very long story short some one came and installed a new meter...THIS WAS ON SEPTEMBER 11th..... all this time John was keeping in touch with me because he needed to fix the leak so he could complete the job. I can not say enough about John and the work he does, he really knows about sprinkler systems and he knew about the meter not working. mean while the water company kept me waiting TWO months. I called John when the meter was finally installed and he came out a couple of days later, dug a big hole and repaired the leak......I thanked him and paid him, and he finally went on his merry way, a happy man.... He looked at our entire sprinkler system and adjusted/changed out nozzles as necessary. In one case a sprinkler head was not operating correctly and had to be replaced. He performed this repair at a very reasonable cost. We were pleased with the value and service we received and would not hesitate to call the Sprinkler Guy again.

 + -1 moreIt was pretty much a wam, bam, thank you maa'm experience. I guess I got what I paid for, but I felt the whole process was rushed. All sprinkler heads were checked and pretty much adjusted. However, I have some problem areas that I felt could have used more attention. All in all, he was not here very long.

Description of Work: I was happy with the work but it was a little disconcerting that he charged to check the system out and then to replace the valve and then to also come out. Description of Work: I have contracted John Flores for several jobs concerning my lawn sprinklers and control panel for over a year now. I have a large area to water with 17 zones to set. He is in a middle of a project to replace sprinkler heads and a drip system so they will work more efficiently, and gave me a fair price for the job.  + -1 morevery nice gentlmen. seems very honest. very busy person. hard working. have used him again since original time. he charged $25 for the service call. he couldn't fix problem but found someone who could. he had dug down and found the problem. the person he recommended did a good job.
Description of Work: repaired motor to one zone can't remember how much extra he charged for that, and checked all other sprinklers. said that he would be back to change out two of sprinkler heads on side of the house that were broken and charge for that service then, but never came back. (seems to be a very busy person.)
