They trimmed my trees back that had overgrown. There was a particular area of my yard that was not getting enough sunlight, so they made sure that portion received sunlight. They mulched the trees that they cut so that I could use it at a later date. The work was fabulous. The workers were very professional, polite and courteous. They went above and beyond what was required of them. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.

The Davey Tree Expert Co is near to my home area. They came promptly and on time to give the estimate. They looked at the trees and gave me some suggestions on how to deal with the trees. They were prompt also when they came to do the job.

Everything went very well. I was favorably impressed with the company. It turned out that the tree had a normal disease and it did not need to be treated.

HIred The Davey Tree Expert Company on behalf of a home owners association to trim two oak trees so as to open the canopy and raise the lower branches above the roadway. The work also called for removal of dead limbs and new growth as well as ball moss. The work performed was outstanding in all respects. Very professional from start to finish. In order to prevent oak wilt, all tools were disenfected prior to use. The company's arborist was on site for the start of the work and he identified the supervisor of the work crew so I knew who to contact should I need to as the job progressed. Workers were very efficient and completed the job in just a few hours. All of the cuts were sprayed with a sealer to prevent oak wilt. Cleanup also went well, including removal of debris that had fallen in two adjacent yards. Would I hire this company again? You bet. I had obtained three other bids, and the quoted price from The Davey Tree Expert Company was very reasonable, the performance of the work crew was superb and the end result of the work exceeded my expectations. If you are going to have any oak trees trimmed, please make sure you hire a company with a certified arborist. I was very impressed with this company.

I was charged nothing. I appreciated that they did not try to sell me a service I didn't need. Very professional and knowledgeable. I will call them next time I need any trees trimmed or any tree service.

I spent about $1200 on that work. Before I joined the list I pulled them up on line and used them for tree trimming earlier in the year, so I used them again. They were a good company to work with and we enjoyed tehm in the past.

I use them all the time. They are good. I wouldn't use anybody else. I am satisfied with them. Their price is right. I didn't have any problems at all when they cut down the tree.

They completed the job in a few hours in the misty rain. The trees were cut as specified. All brush was raked up and ground up. The only thing that was left was the piled up firewood as specified and sawdust. I was very pleased. In several places the trees hung over the roof of the house. They were careful taking these branches down. I have another project at my son's house with overhanging Ash trees that I certainly will call them for.

Work overall was done professionally, however the company entered the neighbor property without first ringing on their doorbell, which (understandably) had our neighbor furious. Assistant Manager came out to work out the situation and eventually resolved it. No complaints about the actual work done on the tree.

My Cedar Elm was dropping twiglets at the wrong time of year (September). The other Cedar Elms were fine. Thomas Siltier diagnosed the problem over the phone (a recent outbreak in San Antonio), recommended spraying the tree and had the scheduling department call to make an appointment within a few days. The appointment was rescheduled to a few days later due to Hurricane Ike in Houston where workers had been sent to assist in recovery. After the reschedule, they came as promised.

In all three instances Davey Tree were responsive, they came when they said they would, for estimates and work. Their crews were extremely hard working. At all times they very professional. They were a pleasure to do business with and their work was quality. Will use them anytime I need tree work.

It went great! They had the best price. They showed up when they were supposed to. They came and did what they needed to do and did it well They came in and came out. We were happy with the results. Our house is still standing.

It was a little difficult to get an appointment scheduled. We were passed around to a few different people and it took a while to get someone to call us back. On the day scheduled for service, Davey was several hours late....reportedly due to a delay in their previous stop. At the end of the day, they left what looked like a half-completed job. There was no notification that they would be back. I had to call and verify that they were coming back the next day to finish the job. They did finish things up the next day, and did a very good job. They did, however, break a landscaping light in the process of trimming one of the trees. They deducted the cost of a replacement from our final bill.

I used Davey Tree Company to trim a large red oak and remove a diseased cedar elm at my church. I had a personal recommendation for one of their certified arborists, and they quickly gave an estimate, which turned out to be less than other companies.' Everything went smoothly with the work, and I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to others.

They arrived on time and, after determining the correct trees to cut back or remove, went to work. They spent all day on the job and cleaned up after they had finished. They painted the cut surfaces of the oak limbs and removed all the brush and limbs they had cut including the ones I had cut earlier in the year.

They cleaned up well after they were finished. It was a horrible day, 40 mph winds, but they still completed the job.

Last year, Davey Tree & Shrub Care came and trimmed all of our oak trees, which had been through construction and drought stress during the building of our home and pool. They fertilized all of our trees and shrubs. This year we asked them to return to fertilize the trees and shrubs again. All of the rain we had last season certainly helped, but our main concern was our oak trees and they are looking much healthier this year.

They were quick to come out and give an estimate, but it took a couple of weeks to set an appointment for over two months later.(Checking with other tree companies, the wait was the same). The day they came they didn't finish the work because they couldn't get to some of the trees. We arranged for access with our neighbors and rescheduled for a month later "after 11:00am." They never came that day even though the receptionist repeatedly assured us they would. We expected a phone call to reschedule, but instead we received the bill. We paid for 2/3rds of the bill and sent a letter with explaining that not all the work was done. Because this is not a local company, the communication between billing and the local office is sketchy. We received a call from their collections dept asking about the balance. At first she said she had seen the letter, but then admitted she had not. After another call from the local office, we got a crew and the job finished. The trees are well-shaped.

Excellent job! Very professional, on time and courteous. Got the job done in the scheduled time and cleaned up perfectly. Best of all, I was not required to be there for every minute, so I lost minimal time from work. I was very happy with Davey and would absolutely use them again. I did have to schedule about 6 weeks in advance, so I would be aware of that time lag the next time.

They did not show up when they said they would. When they did show up to do the work I wasn't even home.

Very well. They came out immediately and gave us a free estimate of the work to be done and worked around our schedule. When they came to do the work they were quick, did an excellent job and cleaned up real well. They removed the tree and all debris.
