I think it was essentially what saved my tree because it was weighed down so much.

The crew did a very good job with the clean up, but I think they should as least have come to my door and ask me to look at the trees before they just left. As a result, one of the trees was not trimmed enough, so they had to come back another appointment. Very little communicate from the crew, so I really wonder if they are really trained arborist as they advertise, But it all worked out, so I'm satisfied. I'll be sure to ask more questions next time. Shawn Cressman however was very nice and professional and very thorough in his evaluation.

In June 2015 a storm blew a tree onto our house. Our insurance carrier recommended Davey Tree as one of two possible companies to respond to mitigate the damage. The other company was not willing to respond for several days. Davey Tree responded the same day, removed the tree from the house, and placed a temporary patch on the roof to prevent further damage. When my roofing contractor responded, he commented that they did an excellent job with the temporary patch and it would hold until they could repair the roof. We had them back in January and February of 2016 because our regular tree company would not respond to our emails or phone calls. Davey trimmed our shrubs and trees, cabled two trees and fertilized all trees. They arrived at the scheduled times did outstanding work and were very thorough in cleaning up all the debris. Mark and the crews are very professional and worked very well with us. They handle issues that arise very professionally as well. In our case, falling debris damaged a memorial stone in the back yard. They told us what had happened and deducted the replacement costs from the invoice. That was very professional of them and greatly appreciated. They are very responsive when you contact via phone or email. We will definitely use these folks in the future. They don't come cheap but they are pros, do great work and treat their customers right.

Mark performed the evaluation and estimate, provided some good details on the process and how it would benefit the trees. Jason H. performed the fertilization and was very professional. Arrived home and he was already working on the project just as they stated during the scheduling. Very courteous and offered advice on an area of my yard. Very pleased with his performance and the way he started work and stayed with it till finished.

They had done my trees for years and they do a phenomenal job. They were backed up because it had rained so much in San Antonio and they put me on the list. I called them in August and they told me they can't get to me until October because the trees were all bearing down because of all the rain so I didn't get them to do it this year. I use them every other year because I have 25 trees on my property and they are about 15-year old oak trees. They do a great job opening up the umbrellas. When they get in here, they bring 4 people and they leave them here in half a day. They do all the trees and you would never know that they had been here. They pick up all the debris and everything. I would recommend them very highly. They came out in August but they told me that they could book it, but they wouldn't be able to get to me until October because of the back up. I couldn't wait because I had the big foliage like everybody else and it was hitting my house. I actually had to hire an independent guy, but this was the very first time that they were not available because they have done such a good job, but that was the case in all of San Antonio. They come and give me an estimate. They ask me what I want with those trees, the ones on the roof, and I got a bunch of crape myrtles and they ask if I want them trimmed. Whatever the job is, they would tell me how much it would cost to do all those. They bill me and I just send them a check. During the spring, I am probably going to call Davey to come and do my trees. They are the top. When they do the work, they are going to seal all my oak trees that they trim. They know what they are doing. I actually filled one of my trees because I was watering a lot and I drowned one. When I called them out here, they came and told me I drowned the tree. Of course it never grew back. They are experts at everything that they do. They are a little bit pricey. They know what they are talking about. They are very knowledgeable. Not only are they knowledgeable, but they make recommendations and they give me options, and they work with me. They are just really, really good. The thing that really impresses me about Davey is that when they come over here, they clean up so well and they mulch everything out in the front because they've got mulch trucks and you wouldn't know that they had been here. A lot of the independent people tell me they are going to trim and they trim, but if I want them to haul it off, it's an additional cost. I don't think that when I hire somebody that they do the clean up the way Davey does. Anybody who has ever asked me who trims my trees, I always recommend Davey. If I am looking for professional and quality work, they may be a little bit expensive but I get what I pay for. The people they bring to do the work are amazing. The guys literally do the work. At my house, it takes about 4 of them. They would be swinging from tree to tree and they've got all their gear on them, they have their belts, and ropes. In no time slacked do they do that job.

We have used them for several years like 30 years or so. The service is fine. We would probably use them in the future.

It's excellent. I've used them twice now. They're trained, good and they were recommended to me originally by a friend who has used them for many years. I'm a master gardener and I really liked what they did.

They were wonderful especially Tim Jackson. In January they trimmed my big tree and a few others in my yard. I've been using them I guess going on four years. I have not been unhappy with them. They are very prompt. When hey make an appointment, they are flexible. Its just a great company. I think the price was very reasonable for what they did. So far so good. They seem to be pretty reliable.

They are awesome! They take care of all my trees and they have been doing that for years. They do a good job. I like them. I love Lewis, he is my tree guy. I have a lot of dogs and he gets along with them really well. He makes sure that their water bowl is emptied on the porch, moves all my furniture off the porch, and then he sprays it down to make sure that they don't get into it. He is very conscientious about my dogs. He goes above and beyond. I think their price is really reasonable. I just have always liked their service so I don't shop.

It was a very satisfactory service. They came out when they said they would. What is important is that they have college-degreed arborists to supervise the pruning of my oak trees. It is not the same as having some lawn mowing guy who says he knows how to trim trees. When you have oak trees it is a long term investment.

They have consistently provided excellent service. They are professional, courteous, tidy, punctual and easy to work with.

The job was super. The trees look great as far as we can tell at this point; they are happy, healthy trees.

Their service is always perfect. I would recommend them because I can always count on them to do an excellent job. They're very expensive.

It turned out ok. I have used them for probably 25 years. I typically have them come out every 2 to 3 years to trim. First time I had them come out about 1991, I had them take out a tree and they did a really good job and the price was good and every 2 or 3 years after that they come out and raising the tree by taking the lower branches out which makes a tree healthier. They do not remove the trump but grind it down to below level.

The crew typically has two individuals and has he chipper on the truck. Generally takes 3 to 4 hours. It does not seem to be a lot of money to me.

The trees and shrubs were fertilized (entire yard is 1/2 acre). The man was on time, polite and thorough. He answered all my questions. The second appt (on time) took care of raising the canopy on 2 large trees in front, trimming tree branches away from the roof and removing a 6" dia tree. All the trees in the yard were cleaned up (dozens of trees) and the cuts on oaks treated. Cleanup was pretty thorough. The guys were very responsive whenever I asked for a little more taken off the trees. Thomas came out to check on progress and answer my questions. Very nice job.
