Over Labor Day Weekend, we noticed one toilet was slowly draining. On Tuesday, we called Texas Plumbing Diagnostics and Dixie was exceptionally courteous and helpful. We were fortunate that they could send a technician to determine the problem that day. Angel, a master plumber, removed the commode and could see a break in the pipe. He gave us two estimates ? one to tunnel under the house ($6700) to reach the bathroom or to jackhammer through the cement ($2400). Because we have experienced foundation issues in our home and the cost was less than half of the tunneling, we were agreeable to drilling through the cement. Another contractor who works with TPD came out the next day and dug the hole to reach the pipe so Angel could reach down and replace the T in the pipe. The same afternoon, the dirt was replaced and the cement placed over the hole. Angel returned the next day after the cement dried to put the commode back in place. During their work on the second day, we asked them to look at a back bathroom where the commode was rocking, it was determined that the flange had cracked. They removed the commode, replaced the flange and returned the commode. They provided a five-year warranty on parts and labor, as long as it does not involve movement of the slab, due to our previous foundation issues.
Description of Work: Repaired broken plumbing pipe below toilet by removing commode, breaking through foundation, replacing busted pipe, providing fresh dirt since old dirt was contaminated, replacing concrete and commode. Also replaced flange in another bathroom because commode was loose.

Jed came to evaluate the situation and spent some time confirming we indeed had a slab leak. During this first visit, he narrowed down the likely location of the leak, but needed to come back with an assistant to confirm, and then repair. On the second visit, they isolated the leak and discussed with me the options for repair. Jed was very clear and thorough in his presentations of the options and was considerate of my budgetary concerns. We chose the option to re-route the hot water pipe via the outside of the house. The job was done efficiently and they cleaned up the area very well when they were done.
Description of Work: Located the source of a hot water pipe leak in the slab, isolated the leak and rerouted plumbing.

Before calling Texas Plumbing Diagnostics we called J.L.Hearn & Arramendia because both companies were on Angie's List & both claimed to have Emergency Service 24/7 AND it was the middle of the night, 2 a.m. on a Sunday. After leaving messages with both firms & not getting a call-back from either (they FINALLY did both return our calls at 9a.m. the next morning!!!!), we dialed up another Angie's List company we had not used before, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics . The owner of TPD, Dixie Bishop, personally answered the phone, asked all the right questions & immediately sprung to action. HER company's claim of 24/7 Emergency Service is FOR REAL!! She said she would send Angel out to our house just as soon as he could get there! Sure enough, Angel shortly arrived & went right to work. He was able to figure out where the pipe was: it was connected to our outside yard water line, run from one hose bib at the front outside wall of our bedroom to the opposite outside bdrm wall at the back of our house. (The builder back in 1979 had evidently changed his mind about adding the hose bib at the back of our house, sealed the pipe & left it in the wall, no one knowing it was there.... until it sprung a big leak, that is! Angel first drilled a small hole into the outside of the back of our house, allowing the water in the wall to drain outside instead of continuing to drain onto our bdrm carpet. Then he removed some of the stone around the hose bib at the front of our house & found the looped pipe, sealed it off, and PRBLEM SOLVED! He was an excellent plumber & an excellent detective! We are very, very happy with the quick response to our plea for help. He called in a helper (David) to help get everyone cleaned up before leaving. They were very pleasant, professional & efficient; definitely will call them again & recommend them to friends.
Description of Work: Dixie Bishop (owner) answered her phone at 2:45 a.m. on a Sunday...We were in a panic because a pipe had sprung a leak in the wall between our master bdrm & master bath, and turning off the water to our house would not stop the water from continuing to pour out of the wall & onto our carpet!! She said she would send Angel as soon as he could get dressed & drive to our home! Angel arrived in a short time, figured out where the damaged water pipe was located , what it was connected to & capped it!! STOPPING THE LEAK & saving our carpet from total ruin!

My water bill was almost twice the previous month. I checked everywhere and could find no leak, but the small white triangle on the water meter at the street was slowly moving. Texas Diagnostic charges a fee to perform diagnostics and determine the source of the leak. I was surprised to find out a commode in my house was VERY slowly running water into the fill tube and out of the bowl. I could not see nor hear the water running. The specialists showed me that you had to put your ear on top of the fill valve and then you could hear it. They replaced the fill valve at no extra cost other than the initial $149. Very satisfied with their work and professionalism.
Description of Work: Determined a water leak in the commode and replaced the faulty fill valve

They called and since they were nearby and done with prior call - asked if they could come an hour early. They arrived on time at the new earlier time. They were clean, polite, professional and even put shoe covers on. I showed them the drain that was backing up and explained I needed a second opinion as to the cause. They told me how much a camera search would be and set to work. They quickly determined there was no break, just a lot of build-up and showed me on the camera all the way through the system. I asked if an auger would clear it and they said an auger would push through and a power wash was what was needed if I chose to go that route. I did. They had to get the washer from their warehouse and were back exactly when they said they would be. The wash took 2 hours on the dot and they then showed me on the camera the results from one end of my drain system to where it connected to the city. They then put everything on the patio back the way they found it and to look - you'd never know they were here.
Description of Work: They were called out to give a second opinion on whether we had a broken pipe under the slab. The first plumber believe we did and wanted almost $300 to inspect with a camera. These guys (Eric and Jed) did it for $200, determined there was no break, showed me on the camera all the buildup and offered to powerwash it out if it was what I wanted. No pressure to upsell at all. Its a small 50+ year old home and they seemed ok with either response. After the cleanout (finished exactly on time) they re-ran the camera all the way from the exterior kitchen clean out through the house, out the main cleanout and down to the city sewer connection to show me the difference and make sure I was satisfied.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Thanks so very much for this superior review of our technicians, Eric and Jed, after they visited your home. I appreciate you saying that they were, “clean, polite, professional, and even put shoe covers on.” We try to be respectful of our customers and their homes, and I’m deeply gratified that our technicians perform in this manner, and, also, that you noticed! Because Texas Plumbing Diagnostics’ technicians are paid a salary, not a commission, they are never under pressure to sell. As you noticed, they don’t have to … and they don’t … sell our customers unnecessary plumbing work. Many homes in this area experience problems with buildup in the drain and sewer lines. And, one of the best things about using a sewer camera to inspect the line is that you, the customer, can see the problem for yourself. Using a Hydrojetter, and the accompanying emulsifiers, is the best way to clear fats, oils and grease (FOG) from sewer lines. And, clearly, the camera showed the excellent results achieved using the Hydrojetter. I’m sorry my technicians did not have the Hydrojetter on the truck. As you probably noticed, this machine is large; it takes two men to handle the unit. A couple of reasons that we don’t leave these units on the trucks are: 1) because the machine is so large, it takes up a great deal of room in the truck; and, 2) these valuable machines are at risk of theft when left in the truck. Our camera alone is a $12,000 piece of equipment, and after having one stolen recently, we are very careful with our machinery. I’m always so thankful to our technicians when I hear of the care they take at our customers’ homes. Thank you for letting me know that they, “put everything on the patio back the way they found it and to look – you’d never know they were here.” That means so very much to me. Eric Martinez came out on July 26, re-secured my pipes under kitchen sink, replaced basket mechanism, and repaired the leak. He and Jed Celis ran auger down toilet; determined roots were the problem. Jed removed toilet, ran camera thru plumbing line, determined where the problem was in the flange. They plugged hole in floor with inflatable balloon, until they could retun on Tuesday, July 29. Jed chipped away at floor, carefully, cut out old flange, and secured new one into place. They filled the space with additional concrete, reset the toilet and caulked it around the base. They were courteous, explained everything to me in advance, and even did the job under budget. I must emphasize that this job took about 5-6 hours to complete. I was particularly impressed with how Jed was careful to chip away only enough tile to do the job, preventing me from having to replace porcelain tiles in the process. These guys did a great job. I would use them again for any future plumbing issues; including the most major ones, should they occur.
Description of Work: Repaired leaking kitchen sink, and fixed root problem in toilet.

In March, 2014 the house we were under contract to purchase burst a pipe which led to needing repairs and laminate flooring. We wished to continue the purchase, after we had the house checked to see if there were any other potential problem spots. Texas Plumbing Diagnostics sent a technician the day after we called to perform the "Peace of Mind" plumbing inspection. They also gave us a free estimate on repairs of other potential problems. Six days after we were in the house one of the kitchen sink baskets developed a leak. We called them, told them it was not urgent, and they came the next day to fix it. We also had them perform the other problems they had previously identified. The technician was very professional, courteous and pleasant while answering our many questions. When he was was completed he asked if we had a coupon from Angies List (we had mentioned getting their name from there). Although we did not have one he gave us the discount anyways! We will be using them for any future plumbing issues.
Description of Work: Fixed leaking sink basket. Also completed earlier estimated work: put sediment traps and lowered house's water pressure to code.

I especially appreciate your mention of our Peace of Mind Package. This package includes a 78-point Plumbing Inspection, covering such basic items as faucets, supply lines and shut-off valves, and going all the way up to a check on water heaters, the water softener and water filtration system. Along with the 78-point Inspection, we perform the following tests: Pressure test the water supply Hydrostatic test on drain and sewer lines Run camera down main sewer line I highly recommend this Inspection Package, especially for homebuyers. A simple home inspection cannot and does not cover the items included in our Inspection Package; a general home inspector is not a licensed plumbing technician, and would not be capable of performing this work. All Texas Plumbing Diagnostics personnel, from office staff to the plumbers, and even the tunnelers who we believe were subcontracted by them, were punctual, professional, courteous, and competent. In our experience since moving to South Central Texas 22 years ago, that last characteristic has not always been a given. At each stage of the work, they were extremely thorough. By careful testing and visual/in-pipe camer inspections, combined with hydrostatic pressure tests, Jed (and his apprentice) localized what was perhaps the major contributor to the water in the slab, a break in a sewage line from a downstairs bathroom and the adjacent utility room (which we later determined likely had been present since the slab was poured). Jed showed this damaged area to us, explained in detail what work would be necessary to repair it, and why, as well as how long it would take -- under different circumstances (e.g., if they encountered rock while digging tunnels, etc.). Jed then provided us with an initial estimate for the work. -- including estimates for how the costs could increase under the different circumstances described to us previously. Ultimately, nearly every aspect of the estimate proved very accurate. None of the work was easy. The job turned into a protracted one. At multiple stages of the job, they ran into problems -- some anticipated, others not. Indeed, after fixing the major problem, they discovered others -- all created by some non-standard plumbing practices on the parts of the original housing contractors (the house was custom built for us 21 years ago). Note: TDP never "bad-mouthed" the original contractors (that's our job. :) ). They simply showed us the new problem and explained it in detail, came up with a plan to remedy it, and did so. A couple of times the personnel at the work site ran into some things which, at first, were real puzzles. In those cases, they called in other TPD personnel -- e.g., a Master Plumber -- to assess the problem and help come up with a solution. Eventually, they had to jackhammer both outside and inside the house to reach all the problems they discovered; but they did their best to avoid damaging the house and minimizing disruption to our lives. But the Texas Plumbing Diagnostics (TPD) personnel and tunneling guys working for them never complained Heck, we've had other plumbers actually whine when asked to connect a copper tube to a refrigerator's ice maker! The cost was more than we had initially anticipated (this was based on our ignorance of what would be involved). But, in the end, it was less than we would have expected after personally seeing the amount and nature of the work they had to do. Note: Other companies provided lower initial estimates (one, without even looking at the problem!), but none of them inspired in us the same degree of confidence that Jed and his co-worker did on that first day. We would call TPD in a heartbeat if we have any other plumbing problems and would have no reservation recommending them to others.
Description of Work: Texas Plumbing Diagnostics used direct observation, cameras, and hydrostatic pressure tests to accurately diagnose multiple causes of damp slab foundation (discovered when remodeling kitchen) and repaired the problems. The work done entailed digging two tunnels under the foundation (on different sides of the house); jackhammering through the concrete slab; removing and replacing damaged PVC drain/sewage pipes; and, of course, refilling the tunnels.

What I like about this company is that they gave me an estimate of the price before the work is done. I want to be prepared for any eventualities. They quoted $499.00 at first. Luckily, I paid $231.80 . The shower valve was not replaced and they don't have to "remove" any tiles from the bathroom. Jed also gave me a discount for being a member of "Angie's List". Thank you Jed. I surely recommend him for your plumbing needs. He even showed me the use of "aluminum foil " to make the "steel" in the bathroom shine. And he "cleaned up" after the job was done.
Description of Work: There was no water in the shower. I don't think the cartridge has been changed since the unit was built in the 1980's. The plumber , Jed; who came to my place was very professional. He changed the old cartridge which was stuck (due to age ?) . And the shower was working again. Jed was very nice. He called prior to his arrivaI . I didn't realize that this company was located in Boerne. I contacted this company basing on the review from Angie's list and that people in our zip code had used it.

I had a tub in the second bathroom that started draining very slow. I called Dixie and explained the problem to her that this was not the first time the tub would start draining slowly to the point I had to have a plumber come out. The last time was several years ago. I was expecting to schedule this for tomorrow (Friday), however after our discussion, she asked if it would be possible for a technician to come out today to try and auger the drain and to assess the situation in case it was a more serious problem than just a slow drain. Dixie did an excellent job in explaining when the technician would be available and she was more than ready to move it to the next day if I couldn't accommodate the timing. All of the information was confirmed via email. I received a call as promised from Eric (the technician) that he was 20- 30 minutes out and ensured it was OK to come over. He arrived on time, assessed the situation, and made sure I knew the game plan and what we were going to try. He did the initial evaluation and was able to clear the clog with the auger. He gave some recommendations on best practices and cleaned up after himself. Eric was a total professional. I felt it was a fair price for the service and professionalism. I will be using TPD again.

Realized a leak in the PRV in the front yard. Researched Angie's List and found good reviews about Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. Called and they were able to come out that day and fix it. The technician was very friendly and explained everything. Great job. a bit pricey, but job well done and responsive. Will hire again if the need arises.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Thanks for your comments regarding the size of your 1" Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV). Many of the PRV units in this area are 3/4" size, but, obviously, not all. Your comments have encouraged me to always let customers know that the 1" size PRV, if required, is at a higher price. Customers should be aware that, when they talk to our Office personnel over the phone, they are getting a Phone Estimate Only. When the technician arrives onsite, and is able to diagnose the exact plumbing problem, he will be able to give an exact quote. Frequently, these amounts will be the same. However, because we here in the Office are not able to see the plumbing issue, we are limited to providing an Estimate with information provided by the customer. I appreciate that, even though your unit was higher priced, you feel that you "got exactly what (you) paid for." Thank you for letting me know that our technician was "very friendly and explained everything," and did a "great job." I always appreciate it when customers answer the "Additional Questions" that will show up below my response. Thanks very much, and thank you, also, for giving our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics, high marks. I'm glad to know our business model is taking us in the right direction, and we will, indeed, take your advice to "continue to do business as (we) do." I'm grateful that you, "will hire again if the need arises." Please do! And, thanks for encouraging other Angie's List members by saying, "Don't hesitate to hire them." The called as promised. They arrived on time. They cut a hole in the sheetrock and removed the base board where the water was running out of the wall. They said that the water was running out of the slab. I was given two options. One to start jackhammering out the slab. Two to reroute the water supply through the attic. I chose to reroute as there was no way to tell how far the jackhammering would have to go. Then would have to repair slab and floor. They used diagnostic tools to determine where the line came up. They cut a square out of the sheetrock under the kitchen sink but the pipe was not there. This was an error on their part. They finally located the pipe behind a cabinet. The copper line was cut at that point and capped off in both directions. The other end of the segment, in the bathroom where the leak was, was also cut and capped. Once this was completed, the water was turned back on. They gave me a quote of $3,600.00 to run the new line from an existing line in the attic to the half bath and down the wall. I think the quote was far too high. I think they felt they had me over a barrel and were pricing it that way.
Description of Work: I called them to fix a water leak. They said the leak was in the slab and disconnected the bad section. I refused their bid to reroute the water line.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Thank you for taking the time to write a review on our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. Thanks also for saying that our technician called as promised and arrived on time. After reading your review, the Invoice with Estimate for repairs, and my technician’s written statement concerning the job, I have the following comments: When you called our Office, and spoke with me, you said that you believed the water leak to be the result of a pest control company’s work at your home. You thought they might have drilled through a water line. Therefore, we cut a hole in the sheetrock and removed the baseboard where water was coming from the wall to address your concerns. Our technician checked the site where the water appeared as you requested. Then, he determined that the leak was a slab leak, not a hole caused by a drill bit. At this point, he began to check the line to sound out where it was coming up in the slab, and, hearing water moving, cut a 6”x6” hole under the kitchen sink. Although you felt this was an error on the technician’s part, it allowed him to better hear the line, and determine that the line came up on the other side of the dishwasher. A manifold is usually behind an accessible point; it would typically not be located behind either a dishwasher or a cabinet. The technician let you know that he had found the location of the manifold on the other side of the dishwasher. You requested that he remove the dishwasher to make sure that the manifold was not behind the dishwasher. He pulled it, at No Charge to you, to satisfy your concerns. Although he could see a part of the manifold, he needed to access it through the cabinet as he had previously determined. He then opened the manifold, cut the leaking line, and capped it, stopping the leak in your home. The technician then entered your attic to check the space we would use to reroute the water line. You have a 15” wide pathway through the middle of the attic, and you asked that the water line not be run in the walkway. Therefore, the 70 ft line would have to be run in the eaves of the home. Anyone who has ever tried to work in the eaves of a home knows that it is a very tight space. We would have had to have a technician working in that tight space, drilling a hole to run the water line, then bending the pipe to get it down the wall. This is difficult work at best. And, the technician gave you a discount on the service, as well. I’m sorry you felt that you were “over a barrel.” Our technician came out, diagnosed your problem, stopped your leak, and gave you an Estimate for repair. You were under no obligation to accept it, and you did not. You are correct, however, that we priced our work differently for you. We gave you a discount. I selected TPD as my first experience with Angie's List, and I have to say I'm not disappointed. I can't exactly say I'm thrilled, but the experience was hundreds times better than my previous attempt with Service Magic. Anyhow, this review is for TPD, not Angie's List. I combed through Angie's List plumbers yesterday morning looking for a plumber that would install a Bradford-White water heater - the first 5 or 6 on the list were all Rheem, and one advertised Whirlpool - from Lowe's, no less! I finally found Texas Plumbing Diagnostics, so I called and spoke to Norwood with his deep Texas drawl, and we set up the appointment for 9:00am the next morning (today). Around 8:30 this morning, Jed called to say he had to finish up some paperwork, and would be at our place shortly after 9 - he actually got here at 9. Jed walked me through all the new code requirements that our current setup did not meet, and explained each one and it's associated price. I authorized the work, and he called in his materials list while his apprentice, David, got to work removing the old heater and getting the site prepped for the new one. Our house is cursed, so I can't fault them for taking 9 hours to do this job - my water softener install took 3 days, for instance - and they did an outstanding job. The room the heater was going into is in the early stages of remodeling into a guest bath, so Jed offered to remove the old shower stub out and cap the lines in the wall so I could put some drywall up. He also went out of his way to educate me on some of the new code regulations, as well as the political correctness creeping into even the trades - I asked them a question about the pipe dope they were using, and that's when we delved into what plumbers aren't allowed to call certain things in front of customers any more. I had to give them a B on price simply because I'm from the old school, and a water heater shouldn't cost over $1,000, let alone $1,600. My downfall was the fact that the previous owner of my home installed the last water heater by himself, and nothing was compliant with current codes. I was impressed enough by Jed that TDP is now on my short list of people I need to call back for my remodeling projects.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Hi! I’m happy to know that your first experience with Angie’s List – and especially with Texas Plumbing Diagnostics – didn’t disappoint. Thank you for your comments regarding our technician, Jed. Your information tells prospective customers that Jed is thorough and thoughtful in his work. Some plumbing installations really are difficult, and you were wise to call in professionals to do this job. Your story makes me wonder how long it took the previous owner to install the old heater. As you observed, licensed plumbing technicians are best equipped to handle this type of work. And, at Texas Plumbing Diagnostics, we provide current, ongoing training for every technician, so that we have the most current information on State and City Code requirements. Thank you for saying that Jed: * Explained Codes and their associated price * Did an outstanding job * Went out of his way to educate you; and, * Impressed you We’re sure glad that we are on your short list. Please know that you are also on our list of favorites, and that we’ll be happy to serve you any time the need arises. I called to have toilet removed, explained that the toilet had not been in use for some time and it wasn't flushing well. I had expected to have appointment later but in less than an hour, Erik was scheduled and came to accomplish what I needed. I am thoroughly impressed with the responsiveness of this company, the professionalism displayed by the technician (Erik), the price to do the job and the ability of this company to discuss our future plans to replace this toilet using the same company. The old toilet was removed from the house and taken away in record time to allow for tiling of the toilet immediate area. I have never had such great service by a professional company. It blew me away. I strongly recommend this company and its employees (to include the office staff who really worked behind the scenes) to anyone needing plumbing services. Awesome!!!! Thank you.

Called and schedule an appointment for them to come out and clear a slow running toilet in the master bath. They covered the different scenarios and pricing for the work, we set the date and time for the visit and they explained that the plumber would be contacting me if there were any changes (either earlier or later) to the appointment time as prior jobs could impact the appointment time. They also followed up with an email confirmation. Eric called to confirm the time and also said that if the prior job causes any delays or finishes earlier he would let me know. He called as his previous job finished early to see if it was OK for him to come over. Eric was very professional, he again talked through the difference scenarios that could happen and confirmed the price for each. He was able to clear the clog within a 1/2 hour. As a total professional he cleaned up after himself. He helped educate us on the reasons that the toilet had clogged and what we can do to ensure smooth operations going forward. Overall it was an outstanding and profession service provided to me. I will definitely be using them again. Well done.

Had a pressure regulator installed for hi-pressure. They did a great job. The water comes out of the faucets as expected, instead of a blast like a pressure washer. Too high water pressure may seem nice to have when you show (actually, it is nice), but it will cause excessive wear on your fixtures, pipes, etc. If you have a pipe burst due to high water pressure, insurance may not pay. We've used TPD for a couple of other things (new hose bibs, water heating issues in Master bath), and they've always been absolutely great to work with and would highly recommend them. They may be a little higher in price than other plumbers, but I know the quality work I'm going to receive.

Hello, and thanks for using Texas Plumbing Diagnostics again when you were in need of plumbing services. Our repeat customers are a large part of our business, and we are deeply appreciative that you continue to allow us to serve you. You are exactly right with your comments regarding high water pressure. In a day when multiple body spray showers are an exquisite luxury desired by many, it may seem strange that we suggest a lowering of pressure in our customers' homes. However, any pressure over 80 psi should be corrected by installing a Pressure Reducing Valve. An Expansion Tank should also be installed when creating a closed system with a Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV). If you are in the City of San Antonio, we must pull a City Permit and Inspection when installing a PRV & Expansion Tank. Thanks very much for your words: "We've used TPD for other things …, and they've always been absolutely great to work with and would highly recommend … I know the quality of work I'm going to receive." Your kindness and your clarity in presenting your opinion of our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics, to other prospective customers is highly valued. Please … Call us any time we may be of service! I will be looking forward to your call and to serving you again any time the need should arise. Jed called me when he was finishing up with a previous client and let me know when he would show up. He arrived exactly when he said he would and was very helpful, friendly and professional. Just an FYI, the cost of service was actually $177.00. The additional charge was for emergency service on a Sunday, which was $149.00, which I think is incredibly reasonable for emergency service. =)
Description of Work: I received my SAWS water bill and it showed that I had almost 3 times the amount of water usage as the previous month, so I knew something was wrong. I called Texas Plumbing Diagnostics because of the great reviews I saw on Angie's List. I explained the issue and Jed came out that afternoon. He was very thorough in looking at all of the possibilities for leaks and discovered that it was the toilet in the half bath. He quickly fixed it and also gave me an estimate when I told him I was considering replacing the toilet in the master bath.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * WOW! No matter how many times I see these kinds of reports, they always leave me feeling inadequate to express how deeply they impact me. After years of investing our lives into Texas Plumbing Diagnostics, and seeing the dedication and level of professionalism our technicians have given every day, it is so very gratifying to know that we are doing the right things. And, just as important, you noticed!! Thank you so much. The value of your words in describing our Company is inestimable. Our technician, Jed, gets excellent reviews on a very consistent basis. We are so blessed to have him working with us. His skill level is top-notch, and his helpful, friendly manner, along with his honesty and integrity, makes him a favorite with the customers he serves. If you have a preference for having Jed perform your plumbing repairs, please feel free to ask for him when you call. If at all possible, we will be sure to schedule him for you. Thank you for saying our emergency service fee for Sundays is, “incredibly reasonable for emergency service.” Jed was working his 7th day in the week when he came out to serve you. When our technicians work this level of hours, they must be rewarded, and we value your recognition of that fact. You summed up your experience with our Company beautifully when you said, “Chose because of reputation; very friendly and honest. When I called them, they always respond almost immediately and come that day or the first available time the following day. Very prompt. I've used them about four times now and they have been nice enough to offer me a 10% discount as a repeat customer, I already thought the price was fair in the first place, so I appreciate this. The two different plumbers that have come out have been professional, efficient and courteous.

They were on time and very professional. They informed my husband that the stain was due to a previous leak from our AC unit and needed to be replaced. They also shared with my husband that we had another water stain on the second floor that was due to a small correction to our roof vents. The tech provided my husband with references to repair the maintenance. I am suprised and thankfull for the honesty and professionalism that we were provided by Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Hi, and thanks very much for this extraordinary review on our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. I appreciate your words, "I am surprised and thankful for the honesty and professionalism that we were provided by Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. We will use them for any of our plumbing needs in the future." What you have witnessed is the fulfillment of our business model and ethics in action. Your kindness in publishing this information for future Angie's List customers is very much appreciated, for you show what I continually say about our Company and our technicians: because our technicians are paid a decent salary, they have no motivation to sell you anything you don't want or need. Many other companies pay their technicians based on commission. They may even be driving their own trucks, which the companies simply wrap to make it appear as though they belong to the company. Our technicians will arrive in a Company-provided truck, clearly displaying our Company name. Although we did not perform work at your home, and maybe because we didn't perform (unnecessary) work, your review is highly valued. I will look forward to your call at any time that you should require plumbing services. There was a water leak that appeared on the side of my house and my toilet was running about every five minutes. Someone was actually sent out to my house within an hour after calling to make an appointment. A diagnostic test was run in order to make sure the water leak was actually coming from my house, which showed that the water leak was actually coming from my neighbor's house. As for the toilet, there was a part that was not sealing properly and had to be replaced. I was only charged for the part replacement and was actually not even charged for the diagnostic test. The service was quick and thorough. The plumber showed me exactly what he was looking for and explained everything thoroughly. I highly recommend this company and will use them again if any more plumbing issues arise.
