Description of Work: Got second opinion regarding a broken pipe. Using camera, drain was inspected and Turns out pipe was not broken as told by previous plumbing company. I would not hesitate to use this company in the future.

Description of Work: We moved into an existing home recently. One of the bathroom sinks started getting a slow drain. I tried cleaning the bathroom sink trap, but the former owner had everything glued so that I was not able to clean out the piping. I called Texas Plumbing Diagnostics on a Sunday evening and committed to have someone out the next day to service the sink. The rep assessed the problem and determined that he needed to obtain another part. He returned promptly and completed the job.

Description of Work: The plumber was very punctual and did an excellent job. He removed and replaced the two 1/2" flexible plumbing lines with 3/4" flexible plumbing lines. He also added 2 safety turn off valves on both lines which I wanted so if my water softener leaks, I can turn off the water on each plumbing line and not at the street. He also replaced an E shaped copper tubing where 1 of the 3 copper tubing was starting to leak. I asked him to replace all of the copper tubing (E shaped) for if one started to leak around the leaking soldered copper pipes, the other 2 might leak. Plus it was easier for him to cut the 3 copper tubing prongs off, solder them together into an E and then solder them to the cut of prongs. I would hire them again for my plumbing needs.

Description of Work: called for a leak and clogged a/c drain. In the past various companies have been unable/unwilling to determine why the a/c drain kept backing up. Jed and Dave discovered yellow jackets nesting in the drain. They cleared primary and secondary drain, removed yellow jacket nests, fixed leak in bathroom caused by last year's a/c back-up repairmen. They went above and beyond the call of duty, were polite, professional and hardworking. I recommend them!

Description of Work: While we were getting wood floors installed, after the old rug was removed we found the cement slab had moisture.. We were unable to proceed with the installation. I called Texas Plumbing Diagnostics and they had a plumber arrive within 30 minutes. They diagnosed the problem and fixed it.. Explaining what needed to be done to find the problem and the cost of each step along the way.

Description of Work: We had a control block for 3 outside hose bibs start leaking in the garage. We had first contacted another local plumber who wasn't able to work with our problem, so I found this plumber on Angie's List at the top of the ratings. The first plumber was able to tell me exactly what I had so I could explain my needs to the one I used, and they could get the part. They scheduled promptly (it was a drip so I could wait til the next day), and the tech called to tell me he was on the way...he actually got there a few minutes ahead of the appointment...love that! He didn't have the part on him because it needed to be ordered, but temporarily capped off the line so we could be away in the meantime while they found the part. He also suggested a second option...he could make a replacement out of brass fittings (original is a plastic piece with knobs) that should be a better long term replacement. He called the next morning with the price of each and the brass would only be $20 more so I went with that. We set an appointment for the install and it went without any surprises. Plumbing is expensive but I feel their prices are in line with what I would expect for two trips and two fixes. I felt I was working with competent, professional plumbers who I would not hesitate to use again. Highly recommend them!

Description of Work: The plumber sent out by Texas Plumbing Diagnostics was great. Very professional and neat in his work. The hot and cold water faucet behind our washer were so old that they couldn't be opened or closed. He was able to replace the faucets quickly and efficiently. I would use again!

Description of Work: Texas Plumbing Diagnostics replaced the faucets in the shower and two tubs. They did a fine job, it was just really expensive. It was 399 for the first one and the second and third were 299 a piece. I bought the faucets, they only had to replace the plumbing in the wall. They did a really nice job, advising me on every change. The job took 6 hours so they charged about 160 dollars an hour. I'm glad it was done, and they did a really nice job.

Description of Work: TPD was prompt and courteous. However, after finding the leak, they wanted an additional $1200. for replacing the line from the meter to the house. They said that they could not get to the repair for over a week. (Our water bill was over $1,000.00 due to the leak), I feel like they were interested in finding the leak, (the easy part),and getting paid for that and not solving the problem. They realized that the leak was significant and yet they wanted us to wait a week risking possible damage to the foundation or driveway. I feel the charge was excessive and it was a waste of time to call this company. Would not recommend. I found the owner to be offensive and less than honest in dealing with my concerns. His technician NEVER offered to do a "spot" repair of I would have most definitely done so... It would have been illogical for me to so, "no, don't fix my problem".... If you read the tone of his response, you will get a glimpse of his attitude towards satisfying his customers. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I have never had such a negative response from a company in response to my concerns. By the way, the additional several hundred charges that I was charged was to simply saw a small hole in the sheet rock in my garage to turn a valve off and on. A $25.00 coupon is a half cent discount which does not justify the excessive charge and the obvious strategy of not fully serving the customer. I hardly find $352.00 for walking around my house checking for leaks and cutting a small hole in the sheet rock a reasonable charge. But, what do I know about plumbing? I'm just a hard working individual that believes in fairness and reasonable fees for services. TPD does a poor job in justifying themselves and out and out lied as well. I stand by my statements. My advice, there is better out there... Don't waste your time or money with these folks... On a positive note, Mr. Plumber was out there the next morning and within four hours, (without major digging equipment), had my problem resolved with a new line with up to date code specs. They were prompt, courteous and reasonably priced.
