I had bought a $150 plumbing services coupon for $75 from this company through an Angie's list offer. Because we had already replaced two toilets in the house each for approx. $140-150 (from two different plumbing companies), we anticipated this coupon for $150 worth of services would cover the cost of the latest toilet, which we provided and had even hauled upstairs ourselves. When I made the appt. to replace the toilet, I commented to the man on the phone that we wanted to replace the toilet since we thought the $150 coupon would cover that. He made the appointment for me but DID NOT remark that this was NOT the case. The technician presented a bill that was approx $244 for the toilet installation and had wanted to charge an extra $92 just b/c the bathroom was upstairs. The coupon for $!50 was worthless to me if I still had to pay a lot of extra money to the plumber. The technician did take off the extra $90 charge but overall I still paid more to replace this toilet. The technician was very professional and did a fine job, however.

They did a really good job. They were also pleasant. It was expensive because the labor was difficult because there is not alot of room under the house for them to work. They were very fair in their prices as we knew it was going to cost alot.

On a Sunday night we discovered a large leak under our kitchen sink. We called them Sunday night, they came out on very short notice at 8 AM first thing Monday morning and repaired everything right in time before a home inspector came to our home at 9 AM. This could have cost us a lot of money and we are very grateful they came to perform the repairs prior to our home inspection.

The lady who answered the phone was knowledgeable and asked good questions. She was able to have someone to my house within 45 minutes. The man who came to my home was polite, knowledgeable and kept me informed of every step. He showed me the problem and noticed that my main turn off valve was becoming corroded and he replaced it free.

When I asked questions, they were honest. The young technician that came out explained to me exactly what he needed to do, and why he thought a certain thing needed to be done. We ended up having to replace a pipe. The work was done by only one technician, but he did an excellent job, and showed me what he had done. Their price was comparable if not a little better than other companies, and I was pleased with the work. I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.

This is a report that's being long in coming and I apologize. I contacted Texas Plumbing Diagnostics (TPD) o/a 1/24/2012 to discuss an estimate to add a gas line for a gas stove and to buy and install a gas fired water heater. Fairly quickly an estimate was provided and a date for the installation agreed upon. All the dates and timelines were met and everything was done on time and at the agreed upon cost. Very professional and efficient. The actual installation was completed on 2/1/2012 and then I had to wait for the City's code inspectors to do their thing. By and large the job met most of the criteria, but a few additional clichés were discovered. One specifically ended up being very expensive. This required an electrical ground and had to be done by an electrician. Since this was a last minute thing, I just contacted an entity called "Mr.Electric". Since this was outside TPD's responsibility I had to bear the cost. Due to no fault of TPD, this company was somewhat pricey and ended up adding an extra $1100 to the project. Since this company is not listed on Angie's list I did not submit a report, but I would : "Never recommend these people". The job was done and then we waited for a re-inspection. This occurred three days later and most fixes were fine, but it appeared that this inspector had different criteria on some areas of the project and three more little tweaks had to be done. Any and all fixes or tweaks with regards to the plumbing part were done quickly, efficiently and without additional cost to me. Eventually we passed the final re-inspection. The inspection process added almost two more weeks, but throughout this period of time, the plumber that handled the work, Angel, was extremely professional, knowledgeable and punctual. In closing, I will restrict my comments to TPD. As I mentioned, the company met its cost estimate, its representatives were extremely knowledgeable, professional and kept me informed of the progress on this job. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The plumber called to tell us he was on his way and showed up on time. We provided our own fixtures we had purchased because we wanted to pick out what we wanted. We have a fiberglass tub surround and I was expecting they were going to have to remove the surround to replace the fixtures. I was extremely surprised and pleased that he was able to replace the fixtures with out removing the surround. He left the bathroom clean and did an extremely professional job. I will certainly use them again.

Great experience - I bought a Big Deals Coupon for plumbing services provided by Texas Plumbing Diagnostics (TPD). I first called the company after purchasing the coupon to set up the appointment and get an estimage for what I wanted done. The price TPD quoted me to pull out my toilet and reseal it with the wax ring sounded reasonable (had a leak underneath the toilet everytime we flushed). I didn't know how reasonable their price was until I thought I would call around and get some estimates from other Angies' List plumbing companies. TPD's price was better than the phone estimates I received from the three other companies I contacted. The TPD plumber came and did the job quickly and professionally. He not only replaced the wax ring under the toilet, but also caulked around the toilet to seal it even more. That was not done by the previous installer. He even The TPD plumber was very thorough and gave me invaluable information about the cause of the toilet leak. I would certainly hire TPD to work on any other plumbing needs and would, without reservation, refer them to my family and friends.

They were very responsive to a big need and were prompt, courteous, upfront and stuck with the estimate. The plumber who came out also answered some questions and showed us out to do a few things after the job was done and didn't charge extra for it. Overall, our experience was very good!

On a Friday afternoon, about 3:30 or 4:00 pm is when we talked to them They were able to go buy the American brand of hot water heater we wanted, get a permit from our city, and come out and service our problem that afternoon. They were at our house between 5:30 and 6:00pm. Angel (our technician) was very professional, very informative & let us know exactly what needed to be done in order to fix our problem. When he had questions, he asked his boss (the owner, who came by to see him) rather than guess. They had to come back Monday to correct the vent problem, but rather than leave us without hot water for the weekend, used our old vent system until Monday when the roofer could come out and complete the job. They made a point to go get the hot water heater we wanted rather than make us settle for what they had around. To top it off, it started raining, thundering & lightning while Angel was working. We were given a military discount as well. Although the expense was significant, I feel we got a great value. I will recommend this company to anyone who asks.

I was very impressed with the service I received from this company. The technician, Angel, was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. He discovered that my roots penetrated my drain lines. He gave me advice on how to keep the line open and provided an estimate to run a new drain line. I appreciated that he laid out my options and gave me an honest opinion on both short-term and long-term options. I fully recommend this company and will use them in the future.

Didn't realize how expensive water heaters are including labor. However, the work was accomplished in a timely manner and the technician was very professional. He emphazided the importance of "draining the tank annually" and showed me how to do this .. simple.

It was a pleasant and reqarding experience, and I am definiteely keeping TPD on record in case future work is needed.

They had an Angie's List Big Deal for $75 off of $150 that I purchased so I only had to pay him $27. The experience was excellent. His name was Angel and I really liked him. He told me what the problem was and showed me the problem. He told me how we could do it ourselves if we wanted to do it ourselves without using them so he gave me the option. I wouldn't have had to pay anything that day but I decided to go ahead and use his services because he seemed very honest and upfront about all the costs and everything. I would absolutely use him again.

They were very good. He was prompt and did the job quickly. He was courteous. He did it as inexpensively as possible, which I appreciated. I really liked him. I had an Angie's List discount. They were excellent. I did no comparison shopping.

Original appt was 6 pm and Angel managed to work us in 2 hours early! On a Monday!

We have an older home that we have recently purchased. I called TPD (Texas Plumbing Diagnostics, LLC) to get an idea what it would cost for the above work. Dixie answered (part owner) and was very helpful and polite. She didn't have the exact cost handy, but sent me an email within the hour on what it would cost. We were able to schedule an appointment for the same afternoon which was so much faster than I anticipated. Jed was sent to do the work. He knew his job and explained as he worked what he was doing. Since we have never had gas in a home before, he was very patient about telling my husband and I how to light the fireplace. He explained why we should or should not do certain things regarding the gas fireplace. He also helped us with the wall furnace in the other room. It is nice to know that our 40+ year old house has a gas fireplace that is up to State standards.

Angel, the plumber, was prompt. He knew what he was doing, he had parts and equipment necessary for the job. He took time to explain the problem, the fix, and he charged a fair price.

We are very thankful they recommended the static test as it turned up several issues that could potentially have become very costly to us in the future. Being a mortgage lender in San Antonio, I will be referring all of my clients purchasing a home to TPD for a plumbing inspection.

Dixie, the phone operator, scheduled within 7 hours and the tech showed up as scheduled with a great attitude. I am happy about the quick service and honest opinion of the technician.

The installation went very well, overall. Once the date and time was set up, a call was received to confirm the services. Prior to arrival on the date scheduled, Angel called to advise me of a slight delay in arrival. He gave me a 15 minute window and was prompt with the new start time. The overall project took a bit longer than anticipated but there was no delay in the work progress. The technician, Angel, remainded on the job and worked tirelessly until it was complete. Mr. Bishop even stopped by, at one point, to ensure progress was going smoothly. We are more than satisfied with the work and the professionalism of the foks at Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. We highly recommend them to others and look forward to seeing them again for the additional services to set up our fire pit.

They came the same day I called. The man arrived, took note of what supplies were needed. He left to procure the necessary supplies, returned promptly, and installed the needed parts. He was polite and clean.
