They came out three weeks ago. They were extremely prompt. They came out the next day and started work. It was wonderful that they could do it that quickly. We had no water or stove or dryer. They came out the next day. The house is old. When the house was built every room in the house had a gas line for heating. Today everything goes through the attic. They distributed it to all places that needed gas. They re-piped the entire house for gas. They had to remove the old pipes. They cleaned up everything. They disconnected all the pipes underneath the house. They are not used anymore.
Description of Work: We used Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. They had to repipe the entire house for gas. A gas line broke underneath the house.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * Thank you for posting this review of our Company. I appreciate your comments: “…They were extremely prompt. They came out the next day and started work.” Thanks very much for grading us with an “A.” And, thank you for mentioning that a licensed plumbing technician is the person you should call to perform gas repairs and install new gas lines. Some people are not aware of this. For Angie’s List members: If you are “tagged out” with a red or green tag from the City or from CPS, your gas will be shut off until a licensed plumbing technician repairs any leaks. Call Texas Plumbing Diagnostics immediately at 210-698-9790. We’ll get your repairs done quickly and get you ready for a re-connect. Thanks again to our Customer for posting this report. The plumber had to dig in several locations to find the leak. Unfortunately, several bushes had to be removed and a couple more died due to their roots being cut. I don't blame the plumber for this since there wasn't a way to repair the pipe without going through the landscaping. The plumber, Ansel, did an excellent job. He was friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. He was able to find the leak and repair it within 1.5 hours. He helped me bag up the removed bushes and clean up the area. I gave this company an A for excellence. However, they are expensive.

* * * * * * * * * * Thanks very much for commenting on the performance of Texas Plumbing Diagnostics' technician at your home. We appreciate you taking time from your day to record your thoughts regarding our Company. Thank you for your understanding regarding landscaping. Homeowners should be aware that the repair of sewer and/or drain pipes may require the removal of plants. As you may notice, cleanouts are often located in the front flower bed of homes. You can help to lessen the impact of any plumbing repairs by leaving an open area around the cleanout to allow access, should a plumber have to work in the area. Of course, any time we have to dig to repair a leak, plants may still be affected. It was very kind of you to take note of our technician's outstanding qualities: "...did an excellent job ... friendly, knowledgeable and hard-working ... able to find the leak and repair it within 1.5 hours ... helped ...bag up the removed bushes and clean up the area." And, thanks very much for grading us with an "A" for excellence. Please call again any time we may be of assistance. Sincerely, Dixie Texas Plumbing Diagnostics September 15, 2013

* * * * * * * * * * * * Thank you. We appreciate your interest in our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. Sometimes, the most important thing that can happen is to “complete(d) the job without incident.” When you contact Texas Plumbing Diagnostics for plumbing repair, you can be sure that we will do everything possible to complete your plumbing repair or service without undue impact on your family and household. It was good maintenance management on your part to have your water heater flushed. This service should be performed on a yearly basis - especially in the San Antonio area - to removed minerals that build up in the heater (even with a water softener). I appreciate your comment that you would hire us again. Please call any time that we may be of further service. I will look forward to hearing from you! Scheduled a time for the gentleman to come give me an estimate and was told I didnt need to be home. Estimator came out but didnt give me a quote, called back two days later and spoke to someone at the main office and she said she would get the plumber to call me and give me the quote I was waiting on for the last two days. Four days go by and I hear nothing so I decide to call them back again and she apologizes for dropping the ball. She gets me in contact with the plumber and he starts asking me questions about gas line pressure and what not. Obviously not being a plumber I could not answer the questions he had and he stated he could come out but would have to charge me $139 this time since it would be the second time. What? really? I was told I didnt have to be home the first time so why is this the customers fault? I contact the owner who listens to my concerns and says he'll call me right back. The onwer then calls me back and says to me " i think we're just not going to give you a bid and pass on the work". Wait, because you guys dropped the ball you're not going to do the work for me? The owner didnt even make an attempt to "right" the sitiuation. As a business owner I'm amazed at this lack of customer service.

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * There are some situations in which we, as a Company, decide that it is better for us to turn down work than to add stress to ourselves and our technicians. This was one of those situations. The initial call came in from this gentleman, requesting a gas line estimate. The person he spoke to is a licensed plumber himself, who is very much aware of the requirements for providing a gas line estimate. He would not have told a potential customer that he would not need to be home for us to provide an estimate on a new gas line. On the date of the appointment, our technician called Mr. G, and let him know that he was on the way. Mr. G stated that someone should be at the home to let the tech in. However, when the technician arrived, there was no one at the home. He checked the gas meter, and noticed that there was a large gas line entering the home, indicating a number of gas appliances being served. He noted that there were lots of footprints around the heater, indicating that several people may have been taking a look at it. He called Mr. G again, and told him that there was no one at the home. Mr. G never mentioned anything during either of the two phone calls with my tech on the day of the appointment about not expecting to have someone at the home. The technician told Mr. G that, in order to provide an accurate estimate for a gas line to his new pool heater, we would need to assess the current gas load on his line, to insure that it would be adequate to handle the newly increased load requirement. The technician would need to enter the home to obtain that information. Mr. G asked if that were something he could do himself, and the technician said, yes, he could do that by checking the gas labels on each and every gas appliance, writing down the BTUs, and providing that information back to him. The technician gave his cell phone number to Mr. G and invited him to call with any questions, and to let him know when he had all the information for all his appliances. He never received a call from Mr. G. We are sorry that Mr. G felt that he could not answer these questions. We understand his hesitance, as this would require some work, including climbing into the attic to check the BTU requirements of the water heater. It is true that Mr. G called our Office, and spoke to me, asking that my technician call him. Unfortunately, we were having a very busy day that day, and I did neglect to have the technician call Mr. G. When he called again, I admitted that I had forgotten to have the tech call, and stated that I would contact the tech and have him call Mr. G ASAP. I remind Angie's List members that Mr. G had our technician's cell number this entire time, and could have called our tech directly. When our tech called Mr. G that morning, Mr. G was no longer interested in providing his own BTU count. Our technician stated that, in order for us to provide the BTU count, we would need to charge a Diagnostic charge of $139 (not a dispatch or service fee because it was the 2nd visit). As mentioned above, checking the BTUs would require our technician to enter the attic, and to search for labels on each and every gas appliance or fixture. After the discussion with our tech, Mr. G called our Office again, saying that he should not be charged $139, and that he was told he did not need to be home. He said, "I can't believe you're not going to 'eat' the $139 to get the work!" He was told that we would discuss the situation with our technician and call him back. After speaking with our technician, we learned that Mr. G had yelled at him each time they discussed what was needed to prepare the estimate, although the tech went through a thorough explanation of why we needed to either have him provide the information, or pay us to obtain the info. Upon learning the level of dissatisfaction that Mr. G already had, although we had done a preliminary assessment and charged him nothing, we suggested that it would be better for both him and us if he located another plumbing company to perform his gas line work, and we recommended two other companies who are also on Angie's List. We stand by our decision. Dixie Texas Plumbing Diagnostics July 25, 2013

I initially telephoned TPD to ask if they provided service in Marion, which is located a number of miles from the TPD office. I was told they could come, but that a trip charge was required. I accepted. I received a confirmation email from the owner. The next day, two men in a plumbing van arrived, listened to what I said, looked around, and explained the charges if I wanted them to continue. I accepted, and they began. After almost four hours of hard, muddy labor, the leak had not been located. Several large PVC pipes lay exposed in a deep, muddy trench that quickly filled to the top with water. The plumbers agreed to return the following week (initial visit was on Friday). Tuesday, they began work in a timely fashion. This time around, a static pressure test was performed, and the large leak was verified. After further testing and much thoughtful detective work, It was decided that the house had two connections to the mainline, with two cutoffs. The approximate area of the leak was determined. More digging exposed a large leak in a line buried deep under the previously disinterred irrigation pipes. The pipe was cleaned and repaired. This leak stymied plumbers for the last three years. Most showed up, many tested, some dug, none solved the problem or provided a solution. All charged as much as, or more than, TPD. These two guys were cheerful, professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. Not a complaint or bad face in response to the mud, the heat, or the torrential downpour they endured while repairing the old pvc. In fact, when I mentioned the hot, muddy nature of the job, both men responded that they had enjoyed the detective work, and were glad of the learning experience. Impressive. I look forward to giving more work to TPD.

Apparently my request was unusual and I had tried a couple of plumbers that wouldn't even do it. The home I purchased had no natural gas or propane cabability, just electric. I bought a gas range and then found out CPS would not have natural gas out to my home for several months. I googled and found it possible to use a standard BBQ size propane tank to supply the range until the natural gas gets out to my neighborhood. A standard tank was set on the outside of the home behind the wall where my range sits. There was already a vent of some type so there was no drilling a hole to get the gas line from the range to outside the home. I aready had the conversion kit that I purchases at Lowes with the range. The technician was professional and TPD ended up having to get some sort of certification before they could come complete the job. Overall I am happy that I can now use my stove on propane temporarily until I can use natural gas. They tested it out and showed me how to exchanged the tank when empty. It just seemed like a lot of money for something I watched a guy do on U-Tube in about thirty minutes.

* * * * * * * * * * Your first clue to Angie's List members regarding Texas Plumbing Diagnostics' determination and dedication to serve our customers is in your statement, "I had tried a couple of plumbers that wouldn't even do it." Further, the technician assigned to your job went the extra mile by obtaining special certification for working with propane gas in order to complete your job within licensing requirements. You may have watched a guy on U-Tube, and feel that the job could be done in 30 minutes, but my technician was at your home for two hours. He ran the gas line to your stove, strapped the line as required by code, installed an easy-disconnect hose & regulator, tested the line for leaks, and set the stove in place. Remember, you had difficulty locating a real, licensed plumber to do the job. We at Texas Plumbing Diagnostics were willing to take the job, and completed it at a price you agreed to. You signed our Invoice indicating your 100% satisfaction with the work and charges. Our technician performed a top-notch plumbing job. I'm glad you can use your stove on propane, and hope you get natural gas soon, as promised by your utility. Dixie July 9, 2013

I had extremely slow drains in my bathtub and lavatory. The plumber explained that I had drum traps which are less efficient than P traps. My plumbing is old, but functional. House built in 1932. I did not have the traps replaced at that time. He recommended a good tip for maintenance: Pour 4 cups of bleach down each drain in the house once a month. Let stand overnight and flush with water the next morning. I have been following that advice andhave had no more problems with clogged drains. This was a Big Deal: $99 for $200 Professional Plumbing Services. The service was valued at $129, so I only saved $30, but it was still worth it.

* * * * * * * * As you discovered, slow drains can have several different causes. An older home, such as yours, requires extra attention and care. Keep an eye on your older drains, and if you notice any backup, let us know immediately. Drains and sewer lines serving older homes can develop a "belly," which prevents waste from flowing down to the sewer main or septic tank. Another cause for slow drains is root infiltration in the drain and sewer pipes. When we see ongoing problems with drain and sewer lines, we run a sewer camera in the line to check for the problems mentioned above. I'm glad to know that, at this time, you are not having any further problems. It is our job to let you, our customer, know what your options are. Then, we proceed with your preferred method of treatment. If you decide to upgrade your system, we will be happy to assist with that, as well. * * * * * * * * Thanks very much for grading our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics, with all A's. I've never outgrown that feeling of satisfaction from getting all A's on my report card! And, as all Angie's List members know, this allows others to see that we served your plumbing needs in a highly satisfactory manner. How exciting to get a deal on the use of our $10,000 camera and locating system! I often joke, "Who puts a $10,000 camera and locating system down a sewer line? We do!" We have invested in top-of-the-line equipment, such as the Ridgid SeeSnake, in order to serve our customer's plumbing needs effectively and efficiently. Thanks so much for your remarks concerning our technicians' honesty and professionalism. I'm so thankful to have gentlemen like ours to work with our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. And to know that we were able to assure you concerning your plumbing makes me know we are doing the right things. I say this often: Because our technicians are not paid on commission, they are under no pressure to "sell" plumbing work. I'm so proud of their ethics and the professional, caring way in which they treat our customers. And I know that, because genuine folks like you send your comments back to us in many ways. I appreciate Angie's List for this reason. It is truly amazing that you remembered our work from two years ago, and were thoughtful enough to post this review. * * * * * * * * Thanks for your interest in our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. I appreciate very much that you posted this report for other Angie's List members. The Peace of Mind Package, which we offer for a complete plumbing inspection, covers over 80 plumbing fixtures, connections and pipes. To cover this amount of work certainly does take a little while. We perform both a water pressure test and a static test. These two tests assure the owner/buyer that the home has no water leaks or drain/sewer leaks. We also run a sewer camera in the main line, to check for a "belly" in the line, which can cause waste backup. Then, we check both small items, such as supply lines, and large items, such as your water softener and water heater. If our Angie's List customers are thinking of buying a home in the San Antonio area, we recommend the Peace of Mind Package. We discount our normal prices to provide value and benefit to you. I decided to not use TPD to fix my plumbing problem because the cost of their estimate was higher than the first company that I called. Based on their prompt response to my call, their courteous & attentive attitude, and knowledge of plumbing issues, I feel confident that they could have done an excellent job. However, their estimate was too high.
Description of Work: I called TPD to give me a second opinion on a plumbing problem that was diagnosed by another company. Making the appointment was quick and easy. Dixie was very courteous & accomodating - I needed a late afternoon appointment because I couldn't take time off work. On the scheduled day, the tech arrived on-time & started by asking as many questions as possible to discover what/where the problem was. After our discussion, he went right to work & called me over to examine the 'problem' once he found it - there were tree roots growing into the pipes underneath my house! He was using a small camera on the end of a 'snake' to examine the inside of the pipes & the roots were clearly visible. This is exactly the same problem that was discovered by the first company. When this tech finished, he wrote the proposal/estimate for correcting the problem.

Thank you for taking the time to state your opinions regarding our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. Even though you did not use our Company to perform your repair, we are grateful for the opportunity to work with you in confirming that you had roots in the drains under your home. We understand that there will be times when other companies will bid lower than us on plumbing repairs. We find that we typically come in at the middle, where some companies are higher than us, and some are lower. We base our pricing on being able to pay our technicians, suppliers, and hopefully, ourselves; and, if we are able to do that, we will be able to remain in business and serving our valuable customers for years to come. I appreciate very much your kind words: "...Based on their prompt response to my call, their courteous and attentive attitude, and knowledge of plumbing issues, I feel confident that they could have done an excellent job..." Thank you for indicating that you would hire us again, and please know that, should we be able to assist you in the future, we will look forward to it! Thanks, Dixie May 17, 2013

When customers like you write, "These guys are very professional and constantly keep you informed of the cost for the repair," I am reminded of how grateful I am to have quality technicians working with me. I depend so much on them, and, as you comments show, they don't let me down! Thank you so much for saying that you "highly recommend" our Company. We are thankful to be able to work with customers like you, and we will look forward to hearing from you again any time that we may be of service. Gratefully, Dixie April 8, 2013

The technician was on time and professional. After a thorough inspection he informed me that the water was due to my A/City unit not draining properly. He flushed out the line and cleaned up all the standing water. He also recommended some other work to be done to improve our plumbing, but said it was not urgent. He gave me an estimate for the additional recommendations and offered to complete the work. I declined the additional work for the moment, but will definitely call them when we are ready to have the work done. The technician was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, but not pushy. Great service.
Description of Work: Had water coming up from kitchen floor between tiles.

Response from Texas Plumbing Diagnostics
* * * * * * Thanks very much for posting your review of Texas Plumbing Diagnostics! We appreciate your thoughtfulness in taking time from your busy day to let others know about our Company. One of the most satisfying aspects of having salaried technicians, instead of commissioned salesmen, is that they are able to treat our customers fairly and give them full consideration, rather than thinking how the next sale might affect their take-home pay. When our technician visited your home, he was able to focus on your problem and to help bring a resolution to the problem. This is what we always encourage our technicians to do. And we appreciate your report, which lets us know they are doing exactly what we aim for -- giving high customer service. "Helpful, but not pushy," as you stated, is a great description of our service expectations. We want to inform our customers of their plumbing problems and the necessary solutions. Then, we know we have done our part, and the customer can plan accordingly -- especially if the future plumbing needs are big-ticket items. Knowing your home maintenance needs ahead of time can assist you with budgeting for these needs. Thank you very much for letting other Angie's List members know that our technician was "on time and professional," and gave "great service." We will look forward to serving you at any time you need us. With appreciation for your kind words, Dixie April 8, 2013

* * * * * * Thank you for your interest in our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. As I have researched our plumbing calls and service records, I do not find any plumbing services performed or a customer record of any kind under your name. I do not have any records of waiting for a repair part for a water heater at this time. I believe this report may have been attributed to our Company in error. Please check your paperwork to determine who did the work at your home. If you have any questions, or if we can be of any assistance to you, please contact our Office at 210-698-9790. Overall the job performed by Angel went very well.
Description of Work: We had a leak in our ice maker and had trouble turning off the water valve behind the refrigerator. Angel, the technician, came earlier than the appointed time and immediately got to work. He checked all the other valves since we also had trouble turning them off. He replaced all valves. Angel was very knowledgeable and explained everything to us. We would definitely use this company again!

Response from Texas Plumbing Diagnostics
* * * * * * Thanks for posting this review on our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics, and our technician and Master Plumber, Angel. Your report focuses on a problem that many people are not aware of. The ice maker line leading to your refrigerator is the No. 2 cause of damage from water leaks in the home. (For those who are wondering, the No. 1 cause of water damage from a leak is the washer machine hose connection.) Anyone who has ever had this problem (as I have, and incurred $6,000 worth of damage, including replacement of a brand-new wood floor) will sympathize with your plight. The plastic line leading to the ice maker in your refrigerator should be changed every two to three years. I'm gratified to know that your problem was taken care of. Angel is a very detail-oriented person. His attention to your other plumbing issues (the valves), and his customer service in explaining his work to you, set him apart as a plumbing technician. I'm so glad you were pleased with Angel's service. We are blessed to have him working with us on our team; he adds a great deal to our Company, and reports such as yours point that out very clearly. Thank you for saying you "would use our Company again." Just know that any time you call, the person receiving your call will be happy to hear from you again. With much appreciation for your business, Dixie Bishop March 19, 2013

The experience was fine. They did what they were supposed to do and were professional. When I set up the initial appointment I didn't check with my wife first and I had a number of other things that were complicating it. They worked with me to set up another time that would work.

During the house's "colonoscopy," when I commented that something looked like spider webs, he said nothing. They were TREE ROOTS! He passed several breaks in the line without noting them and our untrained eyes didn't know what we were seeing. He gave me a handwritten itemization of the services and findings with nothing indicating a problem. I purchased the house based on what he told me! The day after closing, I hired a company to fix the foundation problems I knew were there. They just happened to dig one of their holes right next to the coupling where the sewer leaves the house and noted the PVC broken away from the coupling. That leak, over time, may well have caused the house to sink on that side. The break was right under the cleanout where the camera went into the drain and the leak should have been immediately obvious. [NOTE: I've never been more grateful to anyone than to 123 Pump!!! for finding the break and recommending a (real) plumber to fix the problem!]
Description of Work: I hired them because I wanted to know whether there were tree roots in the sewer lines but requested a total inspection. He tested the water pressure and said it was 90; normal was 60-80. He looked at water heater and noted the pipe was PVC but should have been CPVC. He scoped sewer lines with camera with several of us looking at his monitor.

* * * * * * Thank you to Angie's for allowing us to respond to this review. When the writer of the review above called our Office, she stated that she wanted to have testing done on her drain and sewer line. We discussed the options available, and she decided to purchase the Peace of Mind Package. I offered, as I usually do, to send her an e-mail confirmation of her appointment. She gave me her e-mail address, and on February 26, at 3:36 p.m., I sent an e-mail confirmation of her appointment. The appointment was held on February 27th. Her statements in her first paragraph concerning our work are basically taken from the handwritten notes provided to her on our Invoice after the inspection. Other items requiring attention were referenced on this form, as well, including a leak shown by the hydrostatic drain test. Our technician stated the leak could be by the cleanout or under the slab. He stated on the Invoice form, "Further investigations will confirm leak area." The writer was given a carbon copy of the Invoice, and did not express any problems with reading the copy or understanding the information printed on the Invoice. She did not call our Office with any questions. In the 2nd paragraph of her review, she references a "colonoscopy" on the house. This is her terminology. We were performing a camera inspection of the main drain and sewer line. We do this by entering the clean out with our camera, then going away from the cleanout toward the house to inspect the main drain line, and away from the cleanout toward the City sewer to inspect the main sewer line. Our technician states that he was the one who mentioned spider webs, as there were actual webs, as well as cockroaches, in the line. This technician has 13 years of experience in the plumbing industry, and in the use of the sewer camera. Our camera and locating system cost approximately $12,000. It shows video in color, so roots or breaks are easily visible. The tech states that he did not see any roots or breaks in the 85 feet of line that he inspected that day. As he ran the camera through the line, he pointed out typical "weak points" - joints; no roots were noted at these joints. However, he did discuss with the writer a 3 to 4 foot section of pipe located at the cleanout that was filled with water. As anyone could readily understand, the camera cannot see clearly through sewer water. Our tech explained verbally that further testing would be required and would determine where the leak was located. He stated that there was a good chance the problem was at the clean out, since it was holding water. If the writer purchased the house based on what our technician told her, she purchased it after being informed that there was a leak of some type that had not been located. In her third paragraph, she states that the foundation repair company "...just happened to dig one of their holes right next to the coupling where the sewer leaves the house and noticed the PVC broken away from the coupling." In our experience, if the PVC had been broken away from the coupling during our inspection, the drop noted in the static test would definitely have been greater than 5 inches in 15 minutes. We should also have seen evidence of breakage such as mud or rocks, if the line was actually broken away in this manner. Finally, our technician discussed the inspection package with the writer, told her that he would complete the write-up at the Office and send a completed report along with recommendations, to her by e-mail. He stated that it would take 2 to 3 days to get the report sent to her from the Office. She did not mention any time constraints, closing dates or time pressure of any kind to him at that time. The completed report, along with two Proposals for repairs at the house, was sent out by e-mail on March 1st. The writer called after hiring another plumber, saying that we did not inform her of the problems with her drain and sewer lines. When I asked if she had received the reports I sent by e-mail, she asked what e-mail address I had sent them to. After hearing the correct e-mail address repeated to her, she stated that she did not have access to her e-mail. None of the e-mails I sent to her, from the appointment confirmation e-mail to the two e-mails sending our reports and proposals, were returned as undeliverable. We used the same e-mail address that she gave to me when she made the appointment to send all e-mails. We have a reputation for doing only the work that is necessary AND only the work that the customer has approved. The writer of this review did not approve any work other than an inspection package. I called another plumbing company first and they said they couldn't come out until Monday. I then called Texas Plumbing and a very cordial and friendly woman took my information, scheduled an appointment for 11:00 AM with Jed and quoted me two prices depending on the issue specifically $188 or $249. Jed called in advance of his arrival, arrived early, worked extremely hard and for about 2 hours and corrected the problem. I have had many experiences with plumbers with this particular issue over the past 30 years and Jed is the only one who offered a solution to keeping my house from flooding if it should happen again, he was very professional, clean and provided excellent customer service. I would recommend Texas Plumbing and specifically Jed. You can be certain I will use his services in the future if a need arises. I paid $188 which was very reasonable considering the amount of work and time involved. Jed did not try to sell me anything.

* * * * * * We are so thankful that you chose to call our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. We realize that there are other plumbing companies in the San Antonio area, and the fact that we were able to serve you is much appreciated. We are happy to hear that the person who took your call was cordial and friendly, and was able to give you phone estimate pricing. We try to do this whenever possible, so that our customers are aware of the probable cost of service before our technician arrives. I am glad this was beneficial to you. Our plumbing technician, Jed, is highly skilled, and dedicated to superior customer service. Thank you for your remarks concerning his service: Called in advance Arrived early Worked extremely hard Corrected the problem Offered solutions that no plumber had helped you with in 30 years Professional Clean Provided excellent customer service You are very kind to recommend our Company and Jed. Excellent company!! My tenant called me this morning to tell me there was a sewage backup in the house causing water to leak from an area in the house. I freaked out because I live out of state so I am wary of using a company just by phone. I called around different plumbing companies. One company did not answer, answer company called saying they were booked for the day and Texas Plumbing Diagnostics answered my call and said someone would be in a few hours. The technician came out in less time than that. His name was Jed. He called me to introduce himself and gave me a detailed description of what the problems were and what he was going to do to repair them. He also gave me a specific price estimate as well. You culd tell he knew what he was talking about. He then called me again after the work was completed to assure me that there were no further problems. He even repaired my two toilets that had been a constant issue for my tenant. The price he originally quoted was the price I paid (after my 5% Angie's List discount which he happily gave me). Happy landlord, happy tenant! Jed was a delight to deal with and I had an extremely positive experience with Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. They will be my go-to company for any plumbing issues I may have in the future.

* * * * * * Thank you very much for the high praise you have given our Company, Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. We appreciate very much that you feel we gave you excellent service. Because the San Antonio area has a high number of military service personnel, we are used to seeing out-of-state landlord/homeowner situations, and we are happy to work with out-of-state homeowners and landlords. Thank you for giving the details of our technician, Jed's service to you. He is highly communicative with customers, and we get lots of complimentary remarks concerning him. We are very happy that his service was satisfactory to you, and fulfilled your plumbing needs. We are happy, as you are, that you are now a happy landlord with a happy tenant. You are very kind to report that you had an extremely positive experience with Texas Plumbing Diagnostics. If you have any further issues at your rental home, please know that we are just as close as your telephone! With many thanks, Dixie Bishop March 14, 2013

After a call from a neighbor, telling me my lawn and street were flooded, I called these guys. The worker who came out was fabulous. He did the work quickly and efficiently and left my yard looking as if the leak never happened. He had to dig a 3x3x2 hole in the ground, but it looked pristine when he left. He came out at the end of the day, and even had to leave to get a part before the store closed. They are a little pricey, but I have little experience with plumbers. I highly recommend them!

I lost the thermostat on our hot water on a weekend. I contacted Texas Plumbing after calling a few other to get repairs done on an AO smith electric hot-water heater. The first two places I called did not have parts in stock and therefore could not FIX the problem before Monday when the parts distributor was open again. Texas Plumbing had parts on the truck and dispatched a plumber within two hours. The service required was a pretty basic repair, replacing elements and thermostats in an electric tank. I was pleased with the service and especially that I didn't have to wait two days for parts.

Thank you for allowing Texas Plumbing Diagnostics to serve you when your water heater failed over the weekend. We always have a plumbing technician on call over the weekend, for exactly these kinds of problems. I appreciate your mention that other companies did not have the correct parts in stock to perform your repair. At Texas Plumbing Diagnostics, we supply our technicians with a "warehouse on wheels." This requires a substantial investment on our part, but it allows us to perform repairs such as yours when they are required. Although it is probably impossible to stock every plumbing item and piece of equipment that may be required on a job, we sure try! Other companies often require their technicians to use their own trucks. The truck may be wrapped by the Company, but it is the property of the plumber. At Texas Plumbing Diagnostics, we provide our plumbing technicians with a fully-stocked, company-owned truck. This means they can focus on serving our customers, rather than finding ways to cut corners. So, any time you're looking for a plumbing technician who will be focused on your needs concerning your job, call us at 210-698-9790. We'll be ready to serve you! Thanks again for calling Texas Plumbing Diagnostics! Dixie Texas Plumbing Diagnostics 210-698-9790 Feb. 27, 2013
