They were very quick to come out to give me an estimate to do the work. They said they were very busy so did not promise when they would be back; then they came back a week later to do the work, which was actually earlier than I thought. This company did a really good job and cleaned up thoroughly after they were done. They estimated that it would take about 4 or 5 hours to do the job but they actually got it done in 2. We had no problems at all and everything is great. I will use them again in the future.

He was very honest, showed up on time, got the work done within the time frame he quoted me and the price was exactly what he quoted me as well. He was very neat and put down a cloth so that there was not dirt tracked on my rugs and flooring and cleaned up after himself. I was very pleased with his work and professionalism.

I called Texas Bathtub Refinishers to find out how much it would cost to repair 3-4 chips in our standard porcelain bathtub. It's in the guest bathroom, we don't use it and I would have sworn there were 3-4 chips in it. Debi said that it depended on the number of chips, but for 3-4, it would generally be around $100-$125. So, I figure that's roughly $30-$35 each and well worth it. As required, I mentioned that I had a $25 coupon from The Home Mag. However, it turns out that we only had ONE small chip in the tub. It was about 1/2 the size of the head of a thumb tack. Debi and Greg were accomodating as far as scheduling the service went, and he even came early on a Saturday morning to do the work. He got right to work. It didn't take long at all...less than an hour. Greg was very talkative and easily distracted. If he told us once that he could upgrade our oval tub to a whirlpool tub, he told us five times. After he told us the first time, we said that we'd let him know if we ever decided to do that. He seemed more interested in getting us to do that than anything which was annoying. When I asked Greg how much for the repair, he said it was $75. I told him that Debi said it would be $100 or so if there were 3-4 chips, and I asked if that included the $25 coupon. He said, "Yeah, that includes the coupon. It would be $100 without it." He didn't address my comment regarding what Debi had quoted, and it seems like the price is whatever he feels like charging at the moment. We had another contractor here doing an estimate for some other work we were having done, so I didn't feel like haggling with him over a small amount of money. I am happy that they do the work for veterans and they're both nice enough people, but I don't feel like I would hire him again.

I called to set up an appointment to have a claw foot tub refinished. I had good feelings about the company, they came recommended from my realtor (who never actually used them) and they advertise on Hildebrand Road near my house in Monticello. When I called, an older lady answered the phone, and without prompting, proceeded to tell me that it would be a minimum of $950 dollars and could be as high as $2000. She added that the tub would have to be refinished in house and they already had 12 tubs with work being done. She was not very friendly, did not offer to send someone out to look at my tub. Her customer service was lacking so I decided that Texas Bathtub Refinishers was not interested in my business, so I went with another company.

Everything went great! Greg and Debbie took EXCELLENT care of everything throughout the entire process. They both share a positive, customer-focused attitude, which made the process very smooth and trouble-free. I highly recommend Texas Bathtub Refinishers, and I would definitely use them again!

Texas did a truly professional job for me. They worked quickly and were finished in two days and the men were pleasant and helpful. I appreciated that they made sure all was cleaned up when they were done.
