i sent a message through angi for a quote. they never responded. I called and sent photos of my project. Debi said she'd pass it on to her husband. Never received a reply. Went with another provider. If my project is too small, you could at least respond and let me know. common courtesy goes a long way.

Greg came to my house at the time we agreed and now thanks to him, my bathtub looks brand new again. It looks great!

Jorge was on time. Came back when he was suppose to. I love the way the shower turned out. It looks like new. I only had to send in a picture to get a quote instead of someone coming to my house. Debi was very quick if I had any questions. The house will smell for about 24 hours so do it when you can open windows and use your fans.

The tub finish cracked and peeled at the drain after 14 months of use.

The job was done well. The tub looks great. The only issue is the worker bent the frame of a screen when installing a fan during the stripping process.

I am completely satisfied with the job Texas Bathtub Refinishers Inc did to refinish or bathtub. Jorge is extremely knowledgeable, and displays good attention to detail. In addition, he was very conscientious and ensured that the bathroom and other parts of the house that he traveled through remained clean. When he finished, he left the bathroom neat and clean. He did a fabulous job. The bathtub is beautiful. I highly recommend them!

From start to finish this was a great experience and I wish I had done this sooner! Debi was friendly and helpful when I called. Jorge, the technician, was was polite, neat and quick. He started first thing in the morning and was out by noon. He did have to come back to my home a second time to smooth out the surface. Debi said that dust can settle on the wet surface and cause little bumps. Those were buffed out and my new tub looks and feels lovely. Note: My Tub had previously been refinished, prior to my purchase of the home. I did not realize there was an epoxy finish and used bleach , comet , etc to scrub the tub. Debi advised me that such an aggressive approach will harm the finish and cause pits and peeling. She suggests cleaning with Dawn and a non-scratchy sponge - good to know.

It went very well. Tech showed up just after 9AM and worked until 1:30PM. He placed drop cloths from the front door to the bathroom door. Set up exhaust fan from bath through bedroom and out the window. Bath was properly masked. Tech wore projective face mask and head covering. Cleaned up was very thorough. Tech went over do's and don'ts on proper tub care. Overall a very good experience.

Greg and Jorge showed up on time and got straight to it - prepping the tubs, carrying in their gear, and setting up the exhaust fans. Jorge was finished by early afternoon, cleaned up, hauled out his gear and was gone. After 24 hours we were able to use the tubs/showers. The wife and daughters noted that the finish was slightly rough; I called Debbie, let her know about it and Jorge was out a couple days later and polished up the tubs (from my research, it's very common for a wet finish to attract dust). The girls were happy (and you know if they're not happy - no one's happy!) so the whole deal was a complete success and the tubs look fantastic. Very professional from start to finish.

Two bathtubs refinished. We checked different companies through Angie's List and Texas Bathtub Refinishers gave us the best quote. The technician was very tidy and worked carefully and diligently to complete the job. He was even able to correct a defect of a depression in one of the tubs so that the water no longer collects for no extra charge. There was little inconvenience and the tubs were ready to use the next day. It did take about three days for the smell to be gone, but we just set up a blower fan and opened the windows until we no longer could smell the enamel. The tubs look fantastic and the technician was polite and professional and is highly skilled in his job.

Jorge showed up on time at 9:00 am on February 17, 2014. Very professional and he began with protecting the floor with drop cloths. He then asked me to open our bathroom window and he placed the exhaust hose/tubing out the window. He then stripped the old reseal on the tub and scraped the old finish. He did protect everything around using brown paper and taped the walls, toilet sink and walls. He was very thorough. He finished the job at 3:15 pm. Jorge is very efficient and stayed on task. I will use them again. Debbie was very helpful and she called us back. Had to have Jorge come back out to buff out three little spots and he came back out and got it done and again the tub looks fantastic. I enjoy going into the restroom and looking at our "new" tub. Keeping the true look of our home is paramount and I would not trade my tub in for today's products.

I called texas refinishers to get a quote for my tub which was horrendous. Debbie quoted me over the phone but I was a little weary because no one came out to see the actual desaster of a bathtub. that being said, i asked around, had a few people come and give outrageous estimates with little or no warrenty, so I called Texas Bathtub Refinishers back. debbie was responsive and scheduled me for the very next morning. Jorge was prompt at 9:30am and worked hard all day. I could not believe my eyes when my husband sent me a picture after Jorge had finished. I seriously thought he bought a new tub behind my back or it was some sort of trick, but no, when i came home from work that evening, there she was the faint smell of acetone lingering in the bathroom and my bathtub was emmaculate. thank you Texas Bathtub Refinishers!

The owners Deb and Greg were very accommodating. We had a large painting issue in the bathroom the night before they were to come out and had to reschedule at the last minute for the following week. Day of job Jorge arrived on time and got to work quickly. He was very careful to protect all of our flooring. Once everything was completed I had a question regarding the drain and he directed me to call the office. Greg came out the following day and explained that due to the age of our home some of the sealant had seeped onto the drain and that he would come out once the painters were finished to correct it. I truly appreciated the quick response by the owners. The tub looks like new! Great job.

Their technician Jorge arrived on time and immediately went to work. Most of the time was spent in prepping the sink, using cleaners, and taping and masking surrounding areas. In fact, he mascked off entire kitchen floor to ceiling, and put an exhaust fan out the back door prior to applying the final materials to refinish. End result: perfect outcome, looks brand new.

I got estimates from three different companies on Angie's List and Texas Bathtub Refinishers was the cheapest and had the shortest wait time. All three companies included a 5-year warranty with their refinishing work. The work took about a day to complete. Old finish had to first be removed from the tub and then a new finish laid on. The new finish left a strong chemical odor that stayed around for about 24 hrs, but this is normal. Some dust settled onto the new finish while it was drying, leaving some bumps on the surface. There were also some gaps left in the new caulking. I called TBR the next day and they came back to buff out the bumps and patch the caulking. All and all, a very good job. We are pleased.

She asked her husband to come by and look at the tub, etc for color choices. He arrived that afternoon, looked at the tub and explained color choices. We had a biscuit colored toiled and that was a standard color so instead of s custom color we went with that. He then helped me remove the sliding glass doors that were installed on the tub and hauled them off, something completely unexpected and for which I was very grateful. On the Friday following that Tuesday visit their man came over promptly at 9:00 AM - the appointment time - and he went to work immediately. When he finished we had a new tub, Everything exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them to anyone who asks.

We are very pleased with them. I don't recall the price but it was very reasonable. The first gentleman that came out to do the evaluation, he was very nice. Then the 2 guys that came out afterwards to do the work were very pleasant and nice. It was done very professional.

Called this provider due to great reviews. They provided estimate over the phone and I scheduled the service. They showed up as promised, but after the first application, there were places that looked like the paint (or whatever they use) ran so they came back to repair. Some of their employees look a little rough, but we had no complaints about them. After almost one year there are places that don't look very good so I will be calling them to come repair since this comes with a 5 year warranty.

They called back2c set up an appt to see the tub. They came at the designated time, were professional in coming up with the estimate and setting a time for the service. On the day of service, they set up their own ventilation system, prepped the room, removed the old finish, applied the new finish, cleaned up and left just within the time they predicted. They are experienced and professional.

Everything was good. I thought the price was a little high. Everything turned out good, so I was happy with it.
