We initially used their services to test our water. The technician had a miniature version of the unit that he had with him. He was able to test my water with his system. They did everything that they said they would do. It was a great experience.

We contacted this company through Home Depot. They offered a water test where we , mailed a sample of our water to them and they sent a salesperson out. They did arrive a little late to the installation appointment. They did everything that they said they would do. However, they didn’t explain the maintenance very thoroughly to us. For example, they didn’t explain how often to change to filters, where to purchase them, and how expensive they would be. Overall, it was a great experience.

Fine company and everybody needs that soft water. Good for skin, hair, and even your kidneys! Can't do with out it in San Antonio or you'll have white spots on it or you. Saves your appliances too from the limestone-coffee machines.

It went pretty well. With the way that it was put in the water seeped and all the water came down into our garage. There were problems but they sent someone out to fix it. The work was good and I was told that they had an inexperienced guy helping out and that’s why there was a problem. I thought the price was high.

When we signed up on the Home Depot website for this service we expected to get a recommendation of the best system for our needs that Home Depot showed on their website. The pages in the salesman's demonstration binder had Home Depot writte across the top. Instead after the long presentation we found out that he was selling a product from a different company that cost about 6 times as much as what Home Depot was selling. This was a complete waste of our time. I feel that the person and Home Depot misrepresented the service they were offering.

It was great. I actually wasn't home when they did the installation and my parents were staying at the house but everything went real well and real smooth. They were on time.

There was no problem with the interaction and it was handled fairly quickly.

I have grave reservations and I wish I had not bought the service. The product is a good product, but I do not and I feel like we were forced into a purchase and not given a chance to think about it. For what the product is it is very expensive and there are probably alternatives that are much more economical, so I am not happy with them. I would recommend that anyone dealing which them should check research with everyone even before talking to them. It was a 3 hour sales pitch and it is very convincing and they show you the affect that it can have on laundry, dishes and everything else. The have things like doing in-house demonstrations and it is all very convincing when they have these package deals that have organic based biodegradable soaps that are included in the package deals. They also have things like money back deal and that is as long as it is not installed and they rush out and install it the next day and they have a life time warranty as long as the model exists, but they change the model every 2 years. A lot of research that I did after buying it shows that a lot of people that bought it are very happy with it, but would have been happier with something that was 10th of the same price. The unit was very expensive and I spent $2,000 on it and the roof is much more. The guys that came to do the installation seemed like used car salesmen and seemed a little shady. I was not happy with them at all and I spent about $6,000 on that work. It is a very well made system, but was not necessary for my house. When it was time for the sale they were very quick to respond, act and since then I haven?t heard a word, and I am hoping to never contact them. We expressed an interest in finding out more about the system and they called and the arranged for a sales demonstration all most immediately and that was within days. When I told them that I wanted to give it more thought and delay the installation and they said that if I did that I and then came back I would not have any of the extra side bonus packages and that should really have been an indication to be to just leave it. They were very punctual for the sale. The salesman was very cordial, nice and answered a lot of questions, but I think he misrepresented the product. The crew was very professional, but the crew boss was very rude and obnoxious. He was looking for ways to cut corners and do the job faster and forcing things through. He was using lower quality parts for installation and the guys that were actually doing the work did a great job and cleaned up. They were very cordial and did a fantastic job. It was very disappointing.

Due to the value received for the price we did not buy the unit from Rain Soft.

The service man from Rainsoft Water Treatment was extremely professional, efficient in servicing our water softener and we are happy with the services we received. The water softener was not running properly, the company was quick to come and do a thorough cleaning of our system while replacing the " O" ring. The bill, which included the service work and part, was very reasonable.

THE SERVICE TECHNICIAN WAS FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. HE CAME AT A TIME THAT WAS CONVENIENT FOR ME. HE CALLED ME WITHIN A THIRTY MINUTE WINDOW, SO THAT I COULD MEET HIM AT THE HOUSE.
