Great customer service

It went smoothly.

We initially met with Jim Coleman at Sunn Carpets and Interiors to discuss various types of carpet and look at samples. Jim and Dino came to our home, took measurements, and we finalized details. Sunn workers arrived promptly on our scheduled work day and proceeded profesionally and efficiently with the installation. They moved all funiture without damaging anything, furniture or walls. One minor problem noticed after the workers left was promptly resolved. We love the new carpet!!

This was the best service from a contractor that I have ever received. When my wife and I walked into the showroom, we were greeted and made to feel welcome, yet not harassed or bothered. We had been to 5 other locations that day, but something about Sunn Carpets atmosphere and the folks working there made us feel comfortable. After we asked a few questions, the information we received was thorough and very informative. Never sales-y, but very helpful. You could immediately tell they put our interests first. They went above and beyond any other company in trying to find what we needed and they made sure to provide VERY COMPETITIVE PRICING. When they came to my home to provide me an estimate, I can sum up the experience in 2 words: punctual and professional. The quality of the carpet I received and the price I paid could not be beaten by any other competitor we visited. The installation was scheduled without delay (within days), and the installers were on-time, worked hard, made sure to take care of my home, very courteous, professional, knowledgeable, explaining everything they were doing....just a super bunch of guys. I waited to do this review because I had other work done for me from contractors (i.e. window tinting, tree trimming, etc.) and I wanted to compare the experiences I had with other contractors. I also wanted to make sure my carpet would stand up more than a few weeks. I can honestly say Sunn Carpets provide the very best quality of carpet (my carpet is still flawless) and their service is second to none. Jim is a super guy and I know his heart is take care of his customers. You cant go wrong here.

I've worked with Sunn several times and have always had a positive experience. The sales staff is amazing and the showroom makes selecting materials a breeze. The carpet was installed without a hitch. The tile was good also and the installer was very patient with my perfectionism (center tile first and work out). And yes, I sketched the whole layout on a grid in Illustrator. The hole for the shower valve was cut too large but they were quick to re-order new tile and fix without charging me.

Lee Alejandro came by about 8:30 a.m. to look over the jobsite. Decided to cut the new carpet in the garage. Workers removed old carpet and mat and carted them off. Swept all floors and made minor repairs at door sills before putting down new mat. They were very organized, experienced and professional. Sunn Carpet's president stopped by in the afternoon to check on the work and said that the same installer laid the carpet in his home. They replaced everything they moved and finished by late afternoon. We thought they did an excellent job. Our sales lady, Katie Steinhour, was invaluable before and after both the wood flooring installation, which was done earlier, and the recarpeting. She never high pressured us and made excellent suggestions as to what might work in our home.

We spent about $3500 for their services. We spoke with the owner of the company. He was very informative, nice, polite and knowledgeable. It was a really good experience. We kind of knew what we wanted and then he made a suggestion of something else that would have been a little bit less money. So, we were impressed with that and we went with what we really wanted. The owner made good suggestions. Their installation was great. They came in; they were quick and good. We wanted some wiring done under the carpeting and they worked with that. They were fine and very willing to do that. I had no reasons to doubt. They said that they would be out here if there were any problems. If I probably call them today, they would say that they would be right out here.

The company was competitive in their pricing, responsive to negotiation and accommodating in their scheduling. The installation team was very efficient and clean, polite and professional. Special mention to Cynthia, the sales rep and interior designer who assisted with color and style choices, and Kevin and Jim, owners of the company, who consistently and aggressively followed up post-install to ensure our satisfaction. We were very pleased with their performance and customer service.

The overall experience was excellent from the on-site visit, to determining the cost, to the professional installation. Everything went as planned and scheduled. We would highly recommend Sunn Carpets & Interiors. Being new to San Antonio and not knowing who to contact, we were completely satisfied with the sale, service and installation we received from Sunn Carpets & Interiors.

The installers were always on time, very courteous, and took real pride in their work. Completed the job in just a few days as they always worked all day.
