Very Very well from start to finish

We needed a top to complete a wrought iron table and decided on granite. We asked the owner of the business who created the wrought iron piece for a recommendation for where to purchase the granite top and he gave us the phone number for Sublime Custom Stone. In the process, we also looked at other granite companies and found they are either not fabricators or had less attractive stones. Our initial impression at Sublime was the beauty of the pieces available on display as well as the friendliness and great customer service. We spoke with Shaun (the owner) and John and worked directly with John in making our decision. John was really helpful and patient working with us in making the selection. Additionally we discussed some other upcoming projects for us and he provided us with some great recommendations. He gave us a date for completion of about two weeks out for our table top but instead finished it in just a few days. The wrought iron base is complimented by the exquisite piece of granite from Sublime. We are quite pleased with the work and plan to do business with Sublime Custom Stone again!

They were very nice met their estimates and timelines. As far as I can see, the guys cutting the slabs need to pay closer attention.

They were prompt and very friendly. They explained the process very well. They would be a good company to work with, but we decided on another direction with a different service provider.

The price was fair, but not the cheapest. I would give their responsiveness an A+.

Good initial contact with Sublime. First visit to our home was on time. Prompt in returning phone calls and answering emails (we had a lot of both on this project). Good selection of stone at their yard, and received good referrals to other yards to choose materials. There were several changes to the estimate as we made selections of granite and added/removed items on the estimate to stay within budget (there are very many different grades and types of granite that dramatically affect price). Once we signed the contract, we had a few problems. We were told we would need 2 slabs of stone for our project. Once we selected the slabs and had them delivered to Sublime, we scheduled a visit to match the counter templates to the slabs (they were supposed to create templates, sort of like puzzle pieces, in the exact shape of our counters so we could visually see how the pieces would fit on the slabs, making the layout of how the new counters were to be cut easier). Granite has many variations, veins, etc. and having the templates would have made layout easier. When we arrived, there were no templates and we had to guess using measurements and drawn lines on the slabs. The next day we received a call and was told that our contract was priced using only 1 slab, not 2, so the layout we picked was no longer valid, as the pieces would now have to be cut from 1 slab. This led to a problem with the layout and one part of our counters not matching exactly as we would have hoped. Also, after the template visit to their yard, Sublime did not have correct measurements (they were missing the exact sink measurements) and had to return to our home to re-measure before the slabs were cut. They were over 2 hours late for this re-measure visit and only arrived after I called to remind them. Finally, time came to install. Jason and his crew arrived on time and did a remarkable job, being very clean, professional, and tolerant of our questions and concerns. The only reason I am giving Sublime an overall B is because of Jason and the install crew. At the end of the install we were presented with a "revised" contract that was higher than our signed contract. Early on in the process we were going back and forth with Sublime on the design of the counters and made several changes that we both agreed upon via email, and signed the contract only after we had all the agreements in writing. Apparently Sublime reviewed our project the day before the install and discovered an error in their calculations, which resulted in the more expensive contract being presented after the work was done. Obviously we did not agree. After an hour of tense phone conversations and review of the emails, Jason and the crew left and we did not pay any additional costs from their revised, unsigned contract. The new counters look very good. The 60/40 sink we purchased from them is of good quality so far. The install crew was excellent. We would ask that Sublime remember that most people have never had granite counters installed and are unfamiliar with the process, steps, terminology, and many details that this type of job requires. With a lot more attention to the communication and planning process of their business, Sublime has the makings of a superior company.

The manager of Sublime call until he found a builder who would share the slab so the cost would not be too high. He then had the hearth measured and installed within a week. He also put me in touch with a tile person to install tile on the face of the fireplace. It looks even better than I imagined.

We have a large double basin sink undermounted to the granite countertop. Almost a year ago our sink detached and fell. We called Sublime to re-mount the sink. They used a hercules brand wire harness mount to reattach the sink. It was a satisfactory experience and we paid $65In December of 2011, we noticed that the sink had twisted from it?s fixed position and was no longer properly aligned or sealed to the counter. We called Sublime and asked that they fix this problem under their warranty and at no cost, but they asserted that, although they had re-mounted the sink, the work was not under warranty because they did not install the granite countertops. This did not make sense because the wire harness is attached to the cabinet and not even the granite countertop. But we chose to schedule the repair at an additional cost of $51.50 because we use the kitchen sink everyday. We had difficulty securing an appointment and had to wait a full month before they were available. We called in early December and they scheduled us on January 4th at 9AM. On the day of our appointment when no one had arrived by 10 after our appointment, we called their office. They informed us that they could not find our contact information in their system, despite them having done work for us in the past 12 months, and so they hadn?t bother to send anyone out. To reiterate, they failed to honor their appointment because they said they couldn?t find the contact information for one of their customers. We were stood up. After expressing our frustration, they agreed to send someone over immediately. After waiting an additional hour, we called back and they informed us that they couldn?t locate our address (which they did not ask for in the previous call) and therefore had NOT sent someone. When we asked why they didn?t call us to get the address or at least tell us they were not coming, they blamed it on the fact thaty they didn?t have caller ID and were simply waiting for US to call THEM. After giving them our address we expected someone to be sent right over, but they said that the repairman had been sent off to a different job and we would have to wait another couple of hours. A few minutes short of a couple hours later, they called us and confirmed that the repairman was on his way.The repairman arrived, removed the disposal, disconnected the plumbing and began to inspect the installation. He identified that the previous repairman from Sublime had simply used a bead of silicone around the lip of the sink in addition to the wire harness. He stated that that was insufficient and they should have used an epoxy application between the sink lip and the countertop. Additionally, they wire harness was originally installed in such a way that additional rotational stress was put on the sink and caused it to twist under the granite and pull forward. In order to fix these problems, he: attached a strip of wood between the front of the sink and the inside of the cabinet to better position the sink, used epoxy to adhere the sink to the granite countertop, repositioned the wires for the sink harness to better support the weight of the sink, and reapplied caulk around the sink to make the seal watertight. Unfortunately, as he made his final adjustments, one of the wires loosened and he was not able to fully tighten it without completely removing the sink, which wasn?t possible because he?d already added the epoxy. So, he used a small piece of wood as an imperfect wedge in between the wire and sink, hoping that this would provide sufficient support. This was a makeshift solution instead of a proper permanent solution. The repairman was concerned that if he reattached the disposal to the sink that the weight would not allow the epoxy to set correctly, so he called the office and scheduled a time for the next morning at 11am to come reconnect the disposal and pipes. The next morning, we called at 10:45am and left a message to confirm the time of the repairman?s arrival. Just before 11am, Greg, from the office, called to let us know that the repairman was stuck at a job an hour away and wouldn?t be able to make it to our home until 1:30pm. At 1pm, we received another call from Greg stating that Shawn, the owner, had said that the repairman couldn?t come out to reattach the disposal because they were not licensed plumbers. So, now we not only had to pay for them to come fix work they did poorly a year prior, but we also have to wait for and pay for a plumber to come reattach the disposal and sink. You can make your own conclusion from our fact situation. Maybe it was the one time that everything went wrong. I don?t take pleasure in giving negative feedback (see our other reviews), but at every disappointing turn of our experience, Sublime failed to redeem themselves and left us feeling like we had wasted our time and money. We are extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism, failure of communication, and poor record-keeping of Sublime Custom Stone. We would not use them again nor can we, in good conscience, recommend them to our friends and family.

We had a great experience. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. The met and exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend them.

I contacted four granite companies in hopes of finding someone who could reattach our kitchen sink to our granite countertop. Shawn from Sublime Custom Stone was the only person who got back with me in less than 24 hours; in fact, he answered the phone and even had someone sent to my house that same morning! Talk about fast service! Shawn had his office manager, Ryan, contact me soon after I called him and explained our situation, and one of his men, Andre, was available within a couple of hours to stop by and repair our sink. I was so grateful that they were willing to do such a small repair job, when most of the granite companies only wanted to handle new installations and large renovations! Andre arrived when Ryan said he would; Andre was friendly and professional. He removed the plumbing so he could access the sink, then used a Hercules Sink Harness to support the weight of the sink and secure it to the cabinets instead of just using an adhesive like had been previously done to attach it to the granite countertop. They also didn't have to mar or alter the countertop or sink in order to reattach the sink, which I was very grateful for! He was done in less than an hour and I was able to pay over the phone by credit card. They charged a very reasonable rate, and I was pleased with the whole experience. I would definitely recommend Sublime Custom Stone to anyone who needs granite or countertop work done.

We have used Ben previously when we remodeled the kitchen in our last home and were very happy with his service and professionalism then, just as we were this time. He again delivered great service and I have recommended him to friends and will use them again when we get around to updating the bathroom.

I have used them before as well. They did a pretty clean job. I recommend them to others. They have a good selection of stone. They are good about giving an accurate proposal. Their installation is quick and nice.

The job was good. They did everything I asked them to, they did it in a timely manner, and I don?t have any problems with it. I?ve already recommended them to a family member because they are reasonable and they did a professional job.

We started a master bath remodel project in April with another company that was recommended by a colleague. When the job started going south, we searched Angie's list to find someone to help us with our granite countertop. Thank goodness we found Sublime Custom Stone. I called on a Thursday afternoon and they were here the next morning to measure and provide me with an estimate. I was allowed to visit their shop and pick out the granite the same day. The countertop was installed perfectly the following Wednesday. We will be calling Sublime Custom Stone "first" from now on! A wonderful experience from start to finish! True professionals!!!

From the time I picked out the stone until the installation was complete took about one week. The work was beautiful and every employee was excellent. They were skilled, polite and helpful in every way.

It worked out very well. They kept me up to date and notified me when there was a problem. They were very quick to respond to any questions. I've already recommended them to a friend.

My overall experience was excellent. Prompt, polite and reasonably priced.

Sublime Custom Stone did such a great job and we plan to have them do more work for us in the future. Our new counter top looks great and is easy to clean. They had different types of granite compounds in their showroom for us to choose from.
