Description of Work: Mr Rudy showed right on time and evaluated my front door issue. He was very honest and recommended that I don’t waste any money on a new door installation until I repair my house foundation. He did however see that there was a minor adjustment that can be made to the transition. He took it upon himself to perform this adjustment without any cost. I really appreciate his honesty and will definitely call on them again.

Description of Work: Rudys nephew came and sealed our flagstone patio and it looks terrific! No more powdery dust, it has a slight gloss on it.

Description of Work: Rudy was very polite, educated and responsive. After reviewing my home and assessing my needs Rudy called within 2 days with pricing. While I believe Structure Builders would do a quality job, they are out of my price range.

Description of Work: This is the second time we've had Structure Builders do extensive work on our home. They are currently closing in a carport for a garage, remodeling our master bath, and replacing and repainting the siding and trim on our mostly-brick home. Owner Rudy Paiz is as good as his word and wonderful to work with, and his crews are top notch. So far we are extremely pleased with how this job is going.

Description of Work: After heavy rains we had water damage and a roof leak, we called Structure Builders to check it out since they had done extensive remodeling projects for us before. As expected Rudy Paiz came out, evaluated our problem and gave us a satisfactory quote out. Structure Builders took care of our damage on a timely manner.....bottom line "we were very satisfied and appreciative with their work.

Description of Work: Replaced Facia, power washed and painted entire house, fixed cracks in stucco. Job not completed but expect it to be done this week. Rudy is very professional and his workers are extremely nice, professional and hard workers.

Description of Work: Mr. Paiz showed up on time for our first appointment and we talked about my repair needs. An "installer" was to come and evaluate the situation to determine what was causing the problem. No one called or came. I called Mr. Paiz and told the person who answered what the situation was. He said Mr. Paiz was in a meeting and would call me back as soon as he got out. I have not heard from anyone since. I've moved on.

Description of Work: Their first visit was approximately May 14th to seal dining room window frames which were leaking in heavy rain. Returned on May 28th for a slight touch-up. After receiving several estimates from other roofers and window specialists, this provider came out and did an honest assessment finding poor caulking to be the culprit. The difference in estimates was over $1,000! The other guys tried to sell us various levels of roof and window repairs which were unnecessary. This provider was honest, fast and conscientious. I highly recommend them and will use them for other jobs when needed.

Description of Work: This was a total redo of a small bathroom. It took 13 weeks. I might see one or 2 people once a week. On the first day they were to take down wallpaper and prep the walls. I was told they would leave the cabinets until the new ones were ready and I would be without for only a week. When I got home at the end of the day, the whole bathroom was gone except for the tub. No commode, no counters. So I had to relocate to the bedroom for my makeup etc, and share the other bath with my husband. When I asked about it I was told that my husband had come home at noon and told the man to remove everything. My husband and I had a board meeting at lunch that day and he did not go home. He wouldn't have told them to do that anyway. It went from bad to worse after that. They were never on time and never called to let me know that they were going to be late. I usually waited at least an hour or two. I was always told they would be there at 9:00 or 9:30 and they would show up at 11:00 or so. Needless to say I missed a lot of work. Good thing it is our company and I could wait for them. Finally at the end, the girl in the office and I started emailing. That helped some. The tile men and the cabinet man did very nice work. The painter did not get the finish on the walls correct, even though the room across the hall had the finish I wanted. I had to have my son come down and redo the wall finish and repaint. I would never use them again. There were 2 weeks were no one ever showed up. It should have been done in just a few weeks. I also was never told when to purchase the things I was buying. I always had to ask. I didn't want to be the one holding them up. He also wanted us to come to San Antonio to pick out granite for the counters. I told him I had found the piece I wanted in Corpus Christi, but he wanted us to look. So we made the trip up there. I took the piece of granite I had and showed them what I wanted, but they didn't have it. We looked for tile to match. We found one piece, but when I got home it didn't look good in the lighting in the bathroom. So I ordered tile from the same place I got the granite. He never made contact with them, so I paid for the granite, and he took that amount off of my bill. The tile men called me from the granite place and said I was to pay for the tile. I told them that wasn't correct. They called someone and got a card # and paid for it.

Description of Work: I wanted to them to build a room addition 16x24 to include a sink, walk-in shower and a toilet. I wanted the room to have two windows so I could look out.This would cost me 46,000 dollars.No, thank you.They were very nice people, though.

Description of Work: We had Structural Builders install double hung insulated windows & an insulated double door. After completion of the job, we also awarded the remodeling of our kitchen (based on our experience with this company) and the installation of a roof and addition of a carport. The roof has been completed as of 2nd week in January----carport still needs to be completed, waiting for inspector. The work on the kitchen remodeling just started on January 19th----all seems to be going great! All work was completed by May 2011. Through the last couple of years we have not encountered any major problems. We did have water coming in through the vent-a-hood when it rained heavy however Structure Builders did take care of the problem by moving the vent pipe several feet----all this was done at no extra cost to us. At the present there is only one minor item from making this a "perfect major remodeling project" ---the shutters that were installed on the front of house have screws coming loose and with the heat shutters have been kind-of warping----Structure Builders have assured me that they will address this concern of ours.

Description of Work: I received an estimate from Structure Builders about 3 months ago for renovating my house. I am trying to add space and it is going to be either a garage renovation or an attic renovation.

Description of Work: Fourteen windows were changed out and siding applied to the front overhang, gables, and back of house.

Description of Work: Installer James Mckinney installed replacement windows in my 27 yr. old home. He removed the old windows and installed the new ones without causing any damage to the window frames. If he had seen any damage from "old age" after he removed the old windows, he would have repaired it without further cost to me.
