Description of Work: Two workers were suppose to show but there was only one . Maybe that's why he wasn't so glad to be there . He did move the couches , placed pads under the legs , and appeared to do a good job. I was satisfied with the work. When he was done he seemed a little more personable . Hey , anyone can have a bad day .

Description of Work: The service technicians showed up on time and cleaned the carpet in the master bedroom. They put the bedroom furniture on foam strips so I didn't have to break down the bed or remove the dressers from the room. When they completed the carpet was very clean.

Description of Work: It was easy to make an appointment quickly after calling. They arrived during the last 30 minutes of the 4-hour window. My leather couch was a hand-me-down that needed a good cleaning. They sprayed a cleaner, wiped it off, and sprayed a conditioner immediately after. I think that this would be a good maintenance cleaner rather than a "deep" cleaner. I took advantage of an Angie's List Deal, but I will now use a leather cleaner and conditioner to clean the couch a bit more thoroughly myself.

Description of Work: I emailed Stanley Steemer through their online website around 2:00 a.m. one morning, and received a call back within 15-20 minutes. Fortunately, I was still up. I told them what I wanted, and they gave me a quote, based on how much they charge for carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning, however, it was up to me to figure out the approximate cost. The call center worker was polite, and told me as much as she could about what would be involved, but I honestly would have preferred to have actually had someone come out, give me a quote, and even offer to perform the work at that time, if their price was acceptable. For what she told me, had the information been online, I could have figured it out from there, and saved myself the trouble of emailing them, etc. I thought their service needed to be more personable and hands on, and calling at 2:00 a.m., even if it was in response to my email, could have been disastrous, had I gone to bed immediately after emailing them, or had I not had the phone next to me when they called, since the call would have disturbed others in the family that were sleeping at the time. | |With more personalized customer service, addressing my concerns, I might consider using them, but the arm's length process that they used was offsetting to me, and I'm inclined to take my business elsewhere.

Description of Work: They cleaned carpet in 4 bedrooms. Pretreated stains and went back over areas that needed extra attention. The technicians were very professional and tried to ensure that I was satisfied with the results. I gave them a "B" on punctuality because my appointment window as from 3 - 7 pm and they showed up after 6 pm. Would have like to have had updates during the window as to an approx. time for arrival.
