Sprinkler Management Dream Yards

Generally the work was completed satisfactorily however, even after the maintenance, several of the heads don't go back down into the ground after the cycle. They could have been better about their finishing. The crew left a lot of trash in the yard but the manager came the next day and cleaned it up. The compost they used in the top dressing was very coarse and was not of a high quality. On the plus side, the stone work was excellent and the beds look fantastic after my wife and I put plants in them. Everything seems to be working well with the new zone.

Eric and his team were wonderful, prompt, professional and exceptionally fast without compromising the quality of their work. We were experiencing several water related issues around our house and really needed a complete solution to address them all, that being said though, when I first called Sprinkler Management I was only looking for a quote on a sprinkler system, thinking we should just piece together our solution bit by bit. Eric came out in the misty rain and after taking a look at our setup asked if we were experiencing water related issues... right off the bat he recognized our situation and without pressuring us, showed us the potential Sprinkler management could bring through a well designed landscaping possibility. The relief of knowing the job is complete and has been done right is indescribable. Eric was able to design a wonderful setup that graded our yard to prevent sloping toward the house, installed a drain to take the gutter outwash away from the foundation, incorporated a drip system around our foundation, installed a sprinkler system, beautiful new lawn, a landscaping berm to prevent excess water from making it toward the house, two shade trees... the list seems endless! Eric's suggestions were well formed, I was able to understand his approach and trusted his judgment very quickly, for example, Eric suggested some grass in the backyard where we were not planning on having any, to prevent additional soil movement away from the house. We were quoted at three weeks for the project and there was plenty of rain in the schedule. Within the first week though they were finalizing the project, they beat the rain! But even when it did rain, we were able to see the fruits of their labors in the way the water was managed, everything performed just as it was designed to. The work was extensive, but Eric knew our budget and worked very hard to keep us within it. Thank you so much Sprinkler Management.

Perfect. They did a fantastic job, and even took on the challenge of building a bocce ball court?the first one they'd ever heard of or seen! They were a blast & it looks fantastic.

They showed up in the morning with most of what they needed. They had to get drainage pipe to fit existing lines, but everybody went to work on the job while one guy got the pipe. They were quick and got the job done the same day. Everything was explained to me and they made the changes I asked for with no additional cost (it was the same amount of yard area). No surprises here. They went beyond what I expected. I am happy and most of all my wife is happy with everything they did. It is her yard and she did all the planting in it and they didn't mess up anything.

They never followed up to provide a good date for me.

I didn't get an answer right away. I had to call them. We had an appointment and they kept rescheduling. Even in the last minute, they called me to reschedule for the third time or fourth time. They had different excuses. When they came out, they did the job I hired them for. It was fine. They gave me a bill but I told them I paid for it on Angie's List. I didn't have to pay some more. I wanted them to show me how to use my system. They gave me instructions on the computer to look it up myself. They seemed like they were in a hurry. They weren't anxious to help me out. I would have hired them for other work but it seemed like they're kind of busy and rushed. I'm sure they're a good company but they're looking for bigger jobs.

We had just moved into our house and noticed that there were several brown areas in the yard that didn't appear to be getting covered when the sprinklers were running, so we scheduled SMDY to come out and check everything. Communication was good. They showed up when they said they would. Checked all the sprinkler zones (8) and had to change several heads and nozzles in order to insure that everything was working properly and that the zones were covering the yard as intended. They worked for about 4 hours, and when they were done, they went through all the zones with us to show us how everything was working. Techs were polite and knowledgeable. Would use again.

They guys at Sprinkler Management/Dream Yards delivered on our backyard living area. Eric and Jose were fantastic to work with. Eric worked with me on my idea for a backyard fire pit and low maintenance yard roaming area for our dog to play. Eric kept in contact with me throughout the project with regard to timelines and processes. Jose and his crew worked from morning till evening delivering on our dream yard. The results of their hard work have met with many compliments from our neighbors. I would and have recommended this company to our new neighbors here in San Antonio - you will not be disappointed.

The two service guys that came out did a full property walk thru and inspected the control system to determine what might be causing my low pressure. They finally determined that my water meter wasn't turning while the water was running. After SAWS replaced the bad meter my pressure returned to normal. I appreciate that the guys were honest and "correct" with there troubleshooting rather than try to convince me that some other repair/replacement was necessary. I will use again.

They are great to work with, and get it done right. We will continue to use them in the future!

After my last 'lights guy' bailed on me, I started looking around for a new company. I had already written down on my To Do list to call Dream Yards for a sprinkler installation quote - there were really good reviews here for them. So when i searched for Christmas Lighting installation, I was thrilled to see their name come up. Mark answered the phone and quickly scheduled an estimate right away. He was super prompt, professional, and nice. The price was good, too. He and 3 guys showed up the day of installation, right on time. I had warned Mark that I"m pretty...picky. Since this was his first time doing my lights, I stayed out there with them to sort of direct. They were GREAT. They were all fun and happy and very patient with me when I asked for something to be changed or requested ADDITIONAL things that weren't quoted on his initial visit. I don't want anyone else to expect this if it happens to them, but he said there was no extra charge for those things. Great experience. And I WILL be using them for a sprinkler install in the Spring.

Mark and his team are great. This is the third year we have used them to hang lights on the house. They do all the work and and set them all up on the times and then come back in Jan to take them all down. Our house looks great.

They did a very good job. my system was badly damaged it was brought back to new. The job was finished within the day.

My wife and I are pleased to offer Mark Morales (Owner) Sprinkler Management / Dream Yards and his Team a 5 star rating as follows; This residential project took place in Canyon Lake. The terrain is challenging and the Xeriscape installed by the previous owner was less than appealing. I needed a professional landscaper with a vision to help me through prudent decisions as I was challenged with above average shade in the front and back?.not to mention our friendly deer. For the record, 2 competitors visited the property and were visibly ?overwhelmed??because it was not a ?conventional? landscaping project. One other competitor visited the property ? is experienced with these type jobs - but failed to submit a complete proposal. The scope of work entailed removal of the existing scape, rearranging and removal of many large rocks/bolders and preparing the front and back yards for irrigation /circa 80 cubic yards garden soil/circa 12 pallets Palisades Zoysia sod installation, construct native rock (gathered from my property) retaining bands and beds were mortared to ensure soil retention and provide a natural border for existing and new beds and construction of a native stone mailbox. I cannot over emphasize the significance of this ?effort? considering Hill Country terrain. This project was completed successfully in 7 days. I found the Sprinkler Management/Dream Yard?s team to be diligent workers and always patient with my questions and suggestions. This Sprinkler Management/Dream Yard achievement literally transformed my landscape and enhanced the appeal and value of the property. For those considering sod installation??a very important note, Mr. Morales ensures the Palisades Zoysia is ?fresh cut? from the sod farm and delivered to the jobsite. This is a key ingredient for a successful project execution of this nature. The grass is absolutely beautiful?.as well as the new shrubs installed. Job well done.

It was fine. They didn't get all the sprinkler heads. I think they know what they're doing but I think they got a little bit ahead of themselves.

It went exactly as planned...actually better than planned because they were able to pull the entire job off IN ONE DAY vs the estimated 2-3 days which is a testament in itself as to the experience, skill, & efficiency of the work crew. I also can't praise the manager MARK enough for all of his assistance throughout the process, especially because he personally stopped by afterwards to check everything out and make sure We were satisfied with the job.

It Went well. However, he recommended additional work like adding a sprinkler head between two others that appeared too far from each other but it has been working for me since moving into this home almost 6 yrs ago. I declined the additional recommended work but they completed the work I needed and so far so good.

We had asked for the sprinklers to be evaluated prior to our closing on our new home. The day before closing we were told that it hadn't been done but they would pay if we found someone to do it. We called at least 10 different companies and none of them could come out at such short notice until this company. They managed to fit us in on the way home from other jobs at almost 6pm. The men who came out were very professional and quick and did a great job. We were able to feel better about closing the next day knowing that the system was in working order.

They dug up my grass to during the process but left the area un-landscaped. They left PVC materials and glue around the areas they dug up. The biggest issue was the price. They charged me $25 per sprinkler head that you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot for $7-$9.

Mark and his team did a great job of ultimately identifying the pressure issue that we have been having since we moved into our house (7 years). Others have misdiagnosed or given us answers that it could not be fixed. Mark's team (Rick and Miguel) continued to search for the problem until it was identified. This included asking the neighbors if they could turn on their systems to narrow down the issue. Ultimately, they were able to track it down to a part installed under the sidewalk (installed prior to the sidewalk being laid). Once they identified and fixed that issue (which others never searched long enough to find), they were able to fix other leaks in the system and replace broken heads to get the system running better then it ever has. Mark and his team definitely know why they are doing.
