Sprinkler Management Dream Yards

The response by Dream Yards was incredibly quick. They called the same day I purchased a coupon and arranged to come out the following day. They arrived on time and prepared. They reviewed all of the sprinkler zones and made adjustments to my existing system. They also made what I believe to be appropriate suggestions for equipment modifications and took care of that immediately. They confirmed my watering times and duration as well. I'm much more comfortable with my sprinkler system as a result of their visit and happy with the repairs made.

After decising to have an automatic sprinkler system installed, I sought proposals from three companies before selecting Sprinkler Management Dream Yards to do this work. Mark was very responsive from the beginning and his proposal was submitted right away. Two of the proposals were very close in price but we decided to go with Sprinkler Management and the work was scheduled the following week and completed in one day! The crew did a good job of leaving the yard clean and tidy after the installation and Mark exhibited tremendous patience in answering my endless questions! He was very responsive and great to work with. And, in fact, we have requested an estimate for another property. Would highly recommend this company to anyone desiring an automatic sprinkler system installation.

Great. They did exactly what they said & did it on time & on budget. We'll be using them again soon for holiday lighting and then to expand the landscape lighting.

Mark and his team are excellent. They really got me out of a jam & fixed a lot of problems with my old system. I'm meeting with Mark again tomorrow to look at maybe putting some outdoor lighting in our yard. I couldn't be more pleased with them!

I could not be more pleased with this company. It started out with them being much less expensive than their competitors, but not only that, in a business that is ripe with people who do not do what they say they will do, this company not only did what they said they would do, but they exceeded all of my expectations. When problems arose, I would bring it to their attention and they were quick to resolve the issue. They worked quickly, were on time, and stayed all day, until the job was completed. I simply could not have been more pleased with the overall project, or the outcome. I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning on doing landscaping or irrigation modifications at their home or business.

They were on time and very professional. The adjustments made the sprinkler heads more efficient, and the time adjustments by zone saved me money by not watering areas too long. They found some heads that needed replacing and changed them out very quickly and for a very low price. They also told me that in the future I could do it myself if I wanted to save some money and even told me the brand and model to buy. Great experience, I will use them again, highly recommended.

They were able to complete the installation in 2 days. On the 3rd day, Mark came out for the inspection and to show me how to use the control box and set up the system. He was very thorough and I feel confident that I will be able to add or change the programs if I need to. I was concerned about how much my lawn would be torn up, but it looks great! Woke up this morning to check that the system worked as we had it set to, but the rain sensor kept the sprinklers from going off this morning!

The company employees were very punctual. They were also extremely professional and courteous. They did a thorough check of the sprinkler system, quickly assessed the problem, and resolved it quickly. I would recommend this company very highly. Great job!

Great communcation and service by this provider! Mark called to schedule an appointment within an hour of me submitting a request through Angie's List. He was able to fit an appointment in that same day. Mike showed up that afternoon and diagnosed some issues with my sprinkler system and well as some system configuration problems. He provided me a quote and came back the next day and completed all the work. I would definitely work with Mark and his team again.

Less than stellar. First hurdle was trying to schedule the appointment. First few phone calls to the provider were met with disagreements that the Big Deal I purchased was even offered. The provider required me to call Angies List and have Angies List justify to them that I purchased a valid Big Deal. Once that was clarified, then the scheduling became the next hurdle. Speaking to the phone receptionist (a male) was difficult as I got the feeling that now I was the 'problem' customer since I had to go through Angies List to get them to do the service in the first place. Their female receptionist was very friendly -- I wish I could have dealt with her more -- but she kept handing me off to the male receptionist whose customer service was wanting. We finally got an agreed date and time. On the service date, no one showed up at the designated time. When I called the provider, the male receptionist said they were behind from earlier appointments . . . but I was told I was the first one of the day when I made the appointment originally so I was confused as to why they were held back by other, earlier appointments if I was the first one. That doesn't include the fact that I had to call them -- and not the other way around -- to find out why no one had shown up at the designated time. When they arrived, they worked quickly. One of the parts of the Big Deal was to test the rain detector. They did so, told me it didn't work, but did not try to find out if it was the battery, mechanical, or anything else. Admittedly, testing the detector was the minimum required by the Big Deal -- and they did the minimum. They discovered other problem points that I had not -- which made their service helpful in some respects -- but details on how to fix it were left at a minimum. However, they provided me an estimate for fixing the issues. Overall, scheduling was poor, punctuality was poor, and the service was the minimum required by the Big Deal.

WE found this company through Angie's List and were pleased with their work. Mike, sprinkler tech, is very good and explains the details, though he often runs late.

From my first call, things went incredibly well. They were able to get out within two days to provide the estimate and talk me through the options. Once we decided it was a go (given that we are nearing the end of the summer), we were able to get an scheduled date within a week. The crew showed up, did excellent work, were completed in one day, cleaned up, and we had a quick follow up appointment today to talk about any concerns or questions we might have. Bottom line is that it was an excellent experience at a competitive rate...we're very pleased.

After a few communication misfires, finally found a day and time that the crew was able to provide service. Would have rated Punctuality at an "A" if not for having to make repeat calls and rescheduling attempts. Very impressed with thoroughness of crew. Their locating and flagging each spray head allowed me to create a "map" of my system that had not been left by the previous owner - now I know where each unit is located and can do some regular maintenance to keep the heads clear of overgrown grass. I asked for and received recommendations on how to increase my use of drip lines vs continuing to keep most zones on sprays. I plan to call this team back in the off season to do the drip conversion work.

Mike and another employee came in time specified (the day after I called). They ran all the zones and checked out entire system. I had had another company repeatedly tell my "nothing was wrong" even though there were very obvious very dry areas throughout the yard, which is large. I felt really comfortable with Mike, who was great at explaining what was wrong. After repairing some simple problems(which is all the other company ever did), he told me the water pressure regulator installed previously to lower pressure in the house is affecting the pressure in the sprinkler valves as well. We can't change the pressure regulator due to our hot water heater "blowing up" in the house last winter. The house and sprinkler system were put in in the 80's, with the spaces too wide between sprinklers. Mike gave me a couple of options: replace the entire system or put "low flow" SAWS recommended heads throughout the yard. There are pros and cons to these heads. He explained everything thoroughly. After Mike and helper left, business owner Mark called to double-check that the visit went well. I told him what Mike recommended, and he suggested a third solution, which would create a few more zones. He is coming out tomorrow to look at everything. We are very pleased at the personal attention given to our complex problem. I am so tired of hand-watering!

Three men from Dream Yards came at the appointed time. They located the defective valve and replaced it. It took approximately 45 minutes. We were pleased with their work but thought the price might be a little high for the time the job took.

Two-man crew showed up at appointed time. Within 2-3 hours they had completed the job in a highly professional and efficient manner. It was evident they knew exactly what they were doing. All told they did the following work: - Replaced 6 existing rotary sprinklers - Added 1 new rotary sprinkler - Replaced 5 pop-up sprinkler heads - Replaced 7 complete pop-up sprinklers - Adjusted all heads and rotors for most efficient coverage and for correct spray and made necessary adjustments A job well-done!

Installation went great, very professional job. Everything was cleaned up after the work was done. Rep came out the next day and showed how to work the system. Great company and very professional

Did a very good job. Got all permits needed, installed sprinler system, tested, reviewed operation of program system with me after installtion. Came out later to adjust zones.

Mark and his team were excellent. Mark provided us with a competitive bid with a great product and warranty. The work was done quickly and effectively with great results. Once work was completed, I had a minor request to have a sprinkler head moved and he and his guys were out the next day to make the changes. Excellent work with professional service. I would highly recommend Sprinkler Management Dream Yards.

The estimate came back within a week with what needs to be done first. I requested it be done in sections. Fair price but it's so hot outside right now we'll wait a while before we start anything outside.

Arrived on time - very professional - knew how to correctly program my water console - I continue to use going forward - have recommended him to others - after trying many companies I finally have one that is honest, on time and educated me.

Mark and his crew were awesome, They came and just went to work and fixed the problem. Mark was very professional and respective. I would hire these guys again and I will recommend them to our friends the neighborhood....

Arrived according to schedule and complete job as promised. Very friendly and approachable. Definitely will use them again.

The two men were quick - did the whole job in about an hour, but I ended up with paying for 3 rotors, 2 heads, and a leak. System works fine now. Administratively there are issues with the company. When I first called, the person just answered the phone with Hello. I had to ask if I had reached the Sprinkler Management Dream Yards. When the guys arrived, they came in an unmarked pickup, nothing on their shirts, but they did have the right information. I wrote a check out to the name they gave me "Sprinkler Management," however a month later they called and asked me to write another check out to "Dream Yards" (they did return the first check with an explanatory invoice). They were competent in their repair work, but their business administration had me scratching my head.
