Scotts BPG Inspections

It was the third time I had used them for inspections and I was not disappointed. Punctual, thorough, professional, and accurate. Will definitely call them again.

The inspector was very professional and did an excellent job. I was pleased with all aspects of the home inspection and would highly recommend.

Unfortunately I was unable to be present at the time of the inspection, but prior to the inspection I emailed the company four specific concerns I wanted them to address. I received an emailed reply they would be passed on to the inspector. None of these concerns were addressed in the report. Here are but a few of the most aggregious: There were numerous problems with the report. This is a two story home. THe report on the roof was that it was "visibly inspected from the ground." Many of the problems reported lacked an adequate description of the problem and/or its exact location to determine from the report the severity of the problem. Some sign of rodent infestation was noted and the inspector noted concern because of potential damage to electrical wiring. However, only a "spot inspection" of lights, switches and outlets was performed, with no mention of what a "spot inspection" meant - that is, 50% of the electrical components? 25%? 10%? The tub in the master bath was reported as being a whirlpool tub and lacking a door for access to pump. Actually, it is just a tub. There are no jets, controlls or anything to suggest it might be a whirlpool tub.

After the purchase, I found many issues that were missed by the inspector.

He is straightforward with telling is what is good and bad about the house. We actually used Gary. He has saved us a fortune. He found things that we would have never found. We actually used him to inspect other properties that we did not purchase because of his reports.

It went well. We are considering selling the house and wanted to know everything we could about its condition. Gary Armstrong conducted our inspection in about two and a half hours. He arrived on time. He was very professional, personable, and engaging as he explained what he was going to do and how. He walked the roof and attic, looked at every aspect of the exterior (including foundation), considered everything inside that he could access (The home is occupied and furniture blocked access to some things.) including the electrical and plumbing systems, all kitchen appliances, hot water heater, air-conditioning and heating unit, flooring, walls, just everything. Ran the sprinkler system and observed its operation. Inspected the pool adn operating equipment.And he provided many pictures to show what he found. After he was through, he discussed his findings with us, answered all our questions, and help us prioritize some things to consider.

On time, professional and did a great job. Found all the problems and multiple items that the average inspector would have missed.

He was very good about answering any questions I had and he was very professional and the inspection report was very comprehensive and thorough and they turned the report around to us in the time frame they indicated they would.

He was very competent, walked through the house with us and I appreciated the fact that they did not use the findings from a two-year old inspection and redid the entire home inspection. The service seemed reasonalbly priced. He went through every part of the report and because of this I felt he was very thorough. They were quick to get the report back to me in a timely manner. He was on-time and scheduling the appoint went well and smoothly and he answered any questions I had along the way.

He was thorough in his findings and our real estate agent had recommended his services. He turned the inspection report around to us in the time frame he indicated he would. The customer service from him via email was very good.

After I had the inspection was performed I walked through the house with my real estate agent and everything was accurate per the inspector’s report. He caught things that I did not catch and I felt he was very thorough. He was responsive and he is an expert in his field.

Scott came out and did a complete and thorough inspection during both phases. During both inspections, he found items and marked them on the report and took pictures. Emailed the report to both the builder and myself. Will contact him for the 1yr inspection also.

The inspector was wonderful! I am a single female, and was wary of being "out of the loop" with my builder. My builder was wonderful, but did not have the time to go over every single component of each stage at great length with me. Scott's Inspections was able to do just that. At each stage, the inspector did a thorough walk-through with me, and followed up by emailing me a full written report with color photos of any issues. They also shared those reports with my builder, who then was able to act upon the recommendations of the inspector. By the end of each phase, I felt I had learned some valuable information about my new home. The final inspection was also an orientation of my new home. The inspector showed me all the working components, how they worked, and how to keep them maintained. I felt so comfortable asking questions - he did not "talk down" to me at all. I felt my questions were welcomed and he was always patient with the answers/explanations. He also made me feel welcome attending the inspections - called it a great opportunity to learn about my new home. I will be calling Scott's Inspections to do my Warranty Inspection towards the end of my first year in the home also. If there are any issues, I feel confident that Scott's will put together yet another thorough report to give to my builder. I would give them an A+ if it was possible!

We are 1st time home buyers. I left an ok review prior to this one due to an issue that came up. The issue has since been fixed and Scott's regained my trust. Awesome company!!

After we moved into the house, we had issues that should have been caught on the inspection. After lodging a formal complaint, the owner came out, met with us, inspected the issues, and offered a financial reimbursement. We accepted the offer and appreciate Scott's for standing behind their service.

Perfect inspection everything was explained thoroughly and we got our report the same day!

They did pretty good. They have a good turnaround time and quality.
