They are a legit company, that is in the paper big time, and on the tv big time. I can't remember exactly everything, but nobody is perfect, perfect. We always think they charge us too much, but its fair. They pretty much on the money.

We responded to an ad. They have a huge ad in the Sunday paper every week. We had been thinking about it anyway because our unit was pretty small for this house. So we thought we would take advantage and have them come out and talk to us about our system. We had a heat pump so we didn't have to buy a complete furnace and the a separate air conditioner. We have a compressor and it heats or it cools, so we didn't have to have any duct work replaced or anything like that. It was just replacing out the units. The man that came out knew a whole lot about every single option that we brought up, cause we showed him the ad. They were able to work with us to lower the price by taking off options. If we didn't want to the air inside the duct work to be irradiated with led lights, they'd take that off. If we didn't want to build in the price of yearly cleaning free, which isn't free, they would take that off. Or becoming a member of a club, so if you work with them you can pretty well get the price you want. They were able to come in a couple of days. I was at work, but my husband said that the crew was amazing. The air conditioner part looks outstanding, a really good unit, we're very happy with it. The crew were outstanding. They came out later because they put a new slab over the old slab outside so we could put the compressor on it and they covered one of the sprinkler heads. So they came back out to work it around so the sprinkler head was exposed. I thought that was really nice of them. You can buy cheaper units but Lenox is pretty good quality. We'll have them to come out and service the unit because we bought it from them.

It was a total of three units. It was quite economical. It was half the price that it was ten years ago, and with better equipment. I was delighted with them.

Installations went OK, however the yearly maintenance scheduling and service is not good. I think the company's primary focus is to sell new units. Their service/maintenance follow-up is disorganized and inefficient.

I was satisfied with their service. Three people came out and it took them a day to complete the installation. The area was fine when they left and I had no complaints. I primarily looked at their price and had them come out and decided to go with them. I haven't had to use them since they installed the unit.

Great company, with great prices. I was a little leary of the price, but decided to give it a try. I have had this unit since June, and have used both the AC and heat. I absolutely love it, and to add icing to the cake, the system is quiet! I highly recommend this company. I recommended SA Specialties to a co-worker, and he is just as pleased.

I felt they used scare tactics to push a full replacement even though my outdoor worked fine, and was only 2 years old. He said R22 could not be serviced by next year, there would be no parts, and made it seem like i would be foolish to put more money on a R22 system. So, I'm suppose to believe that the millions of homes and businesses that are currently using R22 are suddenly not going to get any service? I ending up going with someone else, after paying for service call with SA, and saved $1500. If you truly need a full system, i think they are competitive, but i would not use them for any repair issues.

They should have made sure that the system was working correctly with the thermostat before they left. Someone had to come out two days later to repair it.

I've used them twice because they did such an awesome job.

Very well. Doug, the salesman, was very professional, knowledgeable and patient while we are shopping. He calls to check if we have made our mind up or not.

Called SA Specialties on Thursday. They were able to come out on the same day and give me a call 30 minutes before arrival. They scheduled me an appointment for installation the next day! Again, another call before arrival. SAS was quick, professional, efficient, friendly and helpful. Completed all the paperwork and followed up with a call. SAS will be coming back for the two maintenance services but I will still use them again!

I am a DIYer so did detailed research. Got costs of 9-12k from high rated companies. All refused to reuse my 12 yr old plenum. Added cost is approx 3.5k. SA was my last quote. They said could easily reuse plenum. Gave discount as paid cash. Install took 6 hrs and it was 100 degrees out. Very professional service. Extremely happy no issues to date

The installation went fine but once the check for the service hit their hand the customer service stopped. After the unit was installed I asked the guy who installed it about my CPS rebate and he told me to call the office. I called the same day and spoke to Carolyn and she stated she would need to look at the work order and call me back in 30 min. Never happened. I then called the next day and inquired about the CPS rebate and was transferred to Rosie. I left a message for Rosie twice and never received a call back. I am 63 years old and the rebate would really help since I had to pay out all the money for a new unit but can't get anyone in this company to CALL me back much less help me.

It went very well. I've already referred them several times. They come back after six months and check everything free of charge. They call you.

It was perfect! The technician, Roy, could not have been nicer or more professional. At first, he thought there might be a slight leak in the PVC pipe around the inside unit because he noticed some moisture, but he wiped it, left it to dry, and went out to check the outside unit. At that point, he had told me that he would be having to repair that pipe. The outside unit checked out fine (Yeah, didn't need any Freon this time!), and when we went in to look at the inside unit it was all dry. So Roy decided that it was just condensation on the pipe. He also said that we did not need a new filter. While here, Roy showed me how to clean the outside unit every few months, and then how to clean the drain plug on the inside unit monthly. He passed up several chances to make money on this visit: he could have charged me for a new filter, he could have done an unnecessary repair to the inside PVC pipe, and he could have told me that he needed to add Freon as it had to have it last time. I feel very good about this visit, and will continue to schedule my maintenance visits with SA Specialties! There was no charge for this visit, but it won't let me fill that in the cost section below.

A friend of mine recommended this company so I decided to go with them. On the day the air conditioning unit was installed hours later the tech had to come out again. The first tech put the fan in backwards and the second tech had to correct it. He didn't come out to my until 9:30 pm and stayed until 1:00 pm. This was a terrible inconvenience and I had to go to work the next day. Then the temp would not go down past 76 degrees so another tech came out. What a mess!!! Apparently they didn't put enough freon. Then the 4th tech came out to adjust the settings. Can you imagine....a brand new unit and it took them 4 times to come out! I never received an apology, gift card or even a call from the owner. Do your homework and run from this company. There are other companies out there who want repeat business and provide exceptional service. This company is all about quick turnaround and low quality service.

The price was good and service representative was informative. Best price in town. The issue came with directions from the manager. I was directed to have an installation of an access ladder in a closet to the attic for which I paid $350 even though there was attic access through the garage Then, in the terrible heat of summer, the service was put off while we sweltered in the heat. The direction from the manager did not allow the workers to complete the job. Went with Arcadia who came right out and put the unit it.

Complete replacement of a 26-year-old system. The guys were professional, friendly and did a great job. A city inspector looked over the work and said the installation was done well and he never sees any problems with this company. The administrative assistant took care of everything and was outstanding. She set up the inspection, sent me all paperwork necessary to claim the CPS rebate and registered the equipment for me. The absolute best experience I've had using Angie's List yet.
