Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Del was the individual performing the service. He was punctual and very professional. He gave me all the pricing upfront and performed the work quickly and did not leave a mess. I would recommend him for other jobs.

The technician was professional and performed the service without any problems. However, the cost ($325.35) for less than one hours time, to me is very excessive. I will never use Roto Rooter again.

I would probably not hire them again because I didn't get a solution to my issue. My plumbing continues to clog.

I have a two story house and one evening I noticed water dripping from the ceiling in my kitchen onto the floor. I purchased a $25 plumbing service call and Roto-Rooter sent out both a water damage specialist and a plumber. The plumber determined that it was my furnace leaking on the second story from improper drainage. So I had that professionally fixed by an HVAC specialist. However, a couple days later, the leak was back. My insurance company sent out another plumber and he determined the problem was a faulty silicone seal around the faucet in our bathtub that was allowing water to penetrate and leak on to the first floor below. So I added more caulk around the faucet and fixed it I actually think the leak may have been a combination of the two separate issues. I would use Roto-rooter again. Very courteous.

I purchased a big deal for a small leak in my bath tub and wanted get a Estimate for a regulator . I knew my water pressure was to high. The repair men come to my house, i told him what i need. He checked the problem told me i need a pressure reducing Valve that i didn't had one a new one will cause me about $700. asked him to fix the leak he just take a pic of the leak said he couldn't fix it then he left didn't do nothing but just give a very high estimate and left. After he left i had also my sprinkler system guy there was fixing some problem i told him what just happen he couldn't believe it he said you have a water pressure regulator it just need to be fixed or changed. It shouldn't cause that much. He said he will do it for $300. I also called 2 more companies one was 350 the other 400. So i called the Roto-Rooter talk to office manager, she was very defensive didn't think her worker was wrong of anything. and the price was good price. This is a horrible company. I paid big deal for nothing. The leak in my bathroom,my husband fixed it. He said it just need white plumbing tape and tide it up. The company is so overpriced and the office manager so rude. I got a new regulator for $300.

The plumber appeared to have done a good job. This was the first time I had replaced the disposal unit and was not aware that plumbers can negotiate prices. If this is a common practice by companies like Roto Rooter why do they quote a price on the internet before the work is done? This was an exorbitant charge for anyone let alone us people on social security.

Worked with homeowner's warranty company. Contacted water restoration team to initiate drying process for subfloor and ceiling/walls in downstairs hall. Ensured subfloor was properly dried out. Knew what was needed by insurance company and worked with homeowner's insurance company. All workers were true professionals making a frustrating time more bearable.

They did a fine job but the cost for this 40 minute job was unacceptable! This is just a $50 discount, very gimmicky! Hourly rate equaled about $300 an hour!!! I need to find a cheaper plumber!

Called the service early in the morning, they called back with a time and the plumber showed up early in the service window they'd given me. He took a look at the problem and got it repaired relatively quickly.

We looked at this as an emergency. They responded and came right away. They explained what went wrong and fixed the problem We've had no problem since then. I beleive we called other providers first and none were willingg to come on a Saturday. So we were very pleased..

I had a Handyman Service come in to replace the kitchen sink and faucet. They came back the next day to fix the garbage disposal that was leaking. I assumed that would solve the problem but by the next day I had another puddle under the sink. So I decided to call a professional plumber and get the problem fixed correctly. I scheduled with Roto Rooter because they were the first available.The plumber showed on time and was professional. What I was truely impressed with that he checked for leaks not once but four times after the repair job.

Jose Quirino was painstaking in his search for the problem. Had to remove the toilet to do a complete clean out of the drain. Jose explained in detail what he was doing and the costs associated with it. Extremely honest in letting me know why something had to be done. Even reminded me that there was a $40 dollar coupon on line. Highly recommend this company and Jose to whoever needs a plumbing service.

Also checked and gave us quotes on other future possible repairs and great advise. Very upfront with cost and know hidden fee's I would definitely use these contractors again and I think George did a great job make their company shine. Thank for all your help.

I used this company about a year and a half ago to replace the shut-off valve to the toilet in my master bathroom, and was pleased with the price and service. I decided to use them again when the shut-off valve to the toilet in my guest bathroom needed to be replaced. The plumber that came out gave me an estimate that was twice as high as the cost of replacing the first valve. I was upset, and declined the work. I called the company to ask why the price had changed so much, and was told a manager would get back with me. Joe, the production manager, called me back first thing the next morning and said he would be happy to match the price I had paid for the previous job. Not only did he send another plumber (George) out immediately, but George went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the repair. In addition to replacing the valve, he replaced several components of the toilet that were worn or not working properly at no additional charge. This is a company that values its customers. I will definitely be using them again.

Mr. Crockett provided professional expertise and an estimate of the cost for projected work. He took the time to provide a lengthy explanation of the procedures and even suggested several things I could do. I give Mr. Crockett two thumbs up!

THE EMPLOYEE WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE & VERY COURTEOUS. HE KEPT MY SISTER & I INFORMED OF THE PROCEDURE ALONG THE WAY INCLUDING LETTING US VIEW THE ENTIRE LENGTH OF THE PIPE AFTER HE ROTO- ROOTERED IT VIA A CAMERA.

It went much better than expected. The gentleman who came the night before wasn't able to resolve our problem, and didn't charge us. Kasan, who was dispatched the next day, was good humored, professional, and educational. Kasan is GREAT: ASK FOR HIM!

Billy and George came out. They did a good job. They came when they said they were going to come and cleaned up when they said they were going to.

The service was performed efficiently and professionally. Friendly service person arrived on time.

1. First and foremost; prompt -- arrived at start of three hour arrival window. 2. Knowledgable, pleasant, and professional. 3. Tidy. 4. Fixed a initially unreported secondary issue with bathroom sink drain stopper. 5. Highly recommend crew that serviced my home today. 6. Diagnosed & fixed all issues within 75 minutes.

Estimate of 5K was given to replace section of pipe where tree roots were a problem. I decided to have my plumbing company do the repair instead. Because of the other problem area near the sidewalk, I was advised to contact SAWS so they could determine if it was my responsibility to repair or theirs. SAWS came out promptly and took care of the pipe in that area.

The job was done quickly and efficiently. Toilet now works great again.

They were outrageously expensive. I had him do the work but I felt it was extremely overpriced. I would not recommend him.

Great on response time, so no issue there. I have a very old 1950s home that I was sure the pipes were on borrowed time and it was only a matter of time before issues came up. I was washing a couple of loads that was making my sewer line smell un-normal. Tech came out advised me that he had never seen a system set this way. I was ok with that since it was an old home. He also advised back then they did not have tools they have today and pipes where made very bad back then. He cleared the clog and showed be that my pipes where showing of very bad age and also that the pipes were not draining the water properly and was causing water to be stagnant. Quote on a new sewer line from tech was 10,000. Talk about knocking me on my face. Wow. I advised can?t do something big right now. Paid $344.48 for him to open the line, at least so I thought. He never once inspected anything around the toilet or shower pipes. I called him back a couple weeks later because toilet was still not flushing right and now sink water was coming up the shower drain. Tech comes back out because he had a 30 day warranty on original work. I advised him of the water that was coming out under the toilet under the floor boards and I was not sure how it was getting backed up when the drain he cleared was still running smooth from the open drain that I can see from outside. He quotes me 500.00 to remove the toilet and run a line there, while the whole time I am thinking why was this not looked at the first time out. He took off 100 bucks. Thanks for nothing. 400.00 dollars later tech advised me that he cleared this part of the line as well that was backed up that was not part of what he unblocked the first time but same issue, bad pipes. Again he proved to me that my pipes are old and need to be replaced and it?s back at it with the 10,000 dollars, got it the first time buddy. I was really planning on using RotorRooter for the full replacement job for my new sewer line but now I feel like I was messed with for two jobs that should have been one to get all kinks out the first time and really get me to sign with them for the big job. Something did not feel right. Just wanted to put my whole experience with the famous " rotor rooter". To sum it up, I felt like the huge franchise is willing to just go after the big fish and if you?re hooked your hooked and if not my phone is already ringer for the next job. Get more than one opinion before making any huge repair.
