I have had a leaking chimney since I bought my (circa 1975) house 2 years ago. And now I know the previous owner tried to deal with it to, to no avail... I've had several roofers, chimney folks out, have had the chimney and flashing sealed, etc...and I only come to find out it is still leaking when we have a big rain. This last time, I had three NEW roofers out to give me an estimate, and he was the ONLY one to explain exactly what he was going to do...and he had referrals and pictures to walk through the whole thing. He only does the roofing part, but he works with Richard Clifford as the carpenter, and after getting all the estimates (ranging from $400-2400) I decided to go with him. The $1200 was only for the roof repair/reflashing (not just throwing some more tar on my chimney/flashing), the carpenter was an additional $1,000, to replace my chimney siding, etc... BUT so far, WELL WORTH IT...We haven't had enough rain yet for me to judge the 'inner leak problem' (water running down the INSIDE walls of my house), BUT we HAVE had enough rain where the outside of my house under my deck cover, would have already been leaking by now. And they work so closely with the carpenter, it was easy for me to deal with it. VERY professional, and I will DEFINITELY use them again and refer them to my friends!!!

He didn't charge any additional amounts, was fair and treated us with respect. I would use him again.

I had to have my roof repaired after lightening hit the chimney and roof. RepairMyRoof did a great job in a very timely manner at the right price. Hard to beat that.

We'd had what appeared to be a roof leak on a garage wall and ceiling. I bought one of the big deals for a roof inspection & $150 credit for work completed. Arran came out as communicated, inspected the roof and informed me that the roof was fine, but the water damage was from water buildup due to poor drainage on our pitched roof. He gave me a good price on gutters & the work was completed swiftly & the new gutters look great.

When the gentleman came out to get up on the roof and look at it he let me know that my problem was hail damage and I will need to contact my insurance company.

After I made the purchase for the Big Deal he had contacted me very quickly, we made an appointment scheduled for today. He inspected my roof and rigiously and explained that the deal I had purchased wasnt covered for what I needed. Very honest in doing so therefore I got a refund of the deal I had bought. He was a good guy and spent alot of time explaining what the process would be like for me.

On 10/25/work began. Arran ripped off damaged shingles and rotted wood and replaced with new wood and new shingles in a timely matter. Arran's carpenter replaced and painted decorative wood that was rotted from the water leak. One thing to know about Arran he is very thorough (he leaves no stone unturned). My roof looks great and no more leaks. Thanks Arran!

Arran brings an incredible amount of intensity to the job. I observed the number of hours he worked and heard the sounds of the job being consistently addressed. If Arran took a break over the many hours of his repair I did not observe it. The portion of our chimney that needed specialized attention he provided a contractor that a USAA adjuster rated the next day as “an incredibly good job.” I am very confident that all the follow-up work Arran did was of the same caliber. We have rentals in addition to our home, and I thought getting this professional level of work done was no longer available. I could not be more impressed!

Even though I had the roof replaced by another contractor they did a poor job around the chimney and consequently had a water leak inside. After the other company ignored calls to fix it called Arran Greenleaf and he immediately came to look at the roof and took pictures to show me the damage and gave me an estimate. Since I had already had the inside damage repaired and rain was forecast for the week end Arran and his foreman Michael Clifford worked Saturday until they got rained out and then worked all day Sunday replacing the chimney and shingles. They did an excellent job and take pride in their work. They documented all the work that they did with emails and pictures. I had repeated leaks around my chimney and in one of the bedrooms. Aaran responded to my call the day I called him and arranged to come out immediately. He did a thorough inspection and estimate of what I needed to do to replace the roof. He handed me the estimate before leaving and encouraged me to contact him with any questions. He was detailed enough to let me know the only area that he could not predict if there were problems once the tile was removed and what my choices would be should it come to that. There were no surprises. I felt very comfortable asking Aaran the million questions I thought of once he left. He was patient, thorough, and timely in his replies. The scheduled replacement went off without a hitch even though a mason and a carpenter were involved. Clean up was thorough and the house looks great. Lots of rain since the repair and the roof is water tight.

Aaron was very detailed and through in his estimate and provided plenty of information as this is a rent house and we live in a different city. Aaron took before and after photos and assisted us with the insurance agent. The roof looked great and the entire process was fast.

It went very well! Above and beyond my expectations all the way around! Arran's professionalism, enthusiasm and genuine care of his customer's and the work he does really shows! Arran is very knowledgeable and professional. He provided a detailed estimate with photos. While inspecting the problems I knew about, he found one I didn't know about. He did not try to add on a lot of extras, and he explained that the whole roof will probably need to be replaced in 5 years or less. The repairs were done in less than an hour (2 workers).

During a recent heavy rainfall, water started leaking around several windows below my covered patio. Arran came over to assess the issue. He determined that while the flashing was correctly installed, the large amount of rain had overwhelmed the flashing and I needed to direct the water off of my roof to a different area. The caulking around the flashing was failing. The installation of the gutter was very smooth and looks great. Blends into the house very well. The caulking as well. After the heavy rain a few weeks ago we saw a small leak develop in the ceiling. After checking Angie's List we selected Repair My Roof 4 Less. I am so glad that I did, as the owner Arran Greenleaf quickly came out to evaluate the leak we had discovered. He was up on the roof for 30-40 minutes and then came down to report what he found. I expected to be showered with roofing jargon but much to my surprise Arran explained what he found in simple terms. Then we sat down at my PC, and he showed us photos, taken on my roof with his i-phone, he uploaded to Google Docs. These showed exactly what the damage was. It didn't take a trained eye to see that several rows of shingles had slipped and allowed water to enter the attic. In addition, Arran showed me where the plywood below the dormer windows was weakened by water leaking below the shingles. This was visible on the photos as a large depression in the roof. After explaining why the plywood had rotted from water splashing behind the dormer flashing, he suggested an easy way to prevent this in the future. He suggested installing short gutters on the dormers and allowing the rain water to run off gently rather than falling and splashing on the sides of the dormers. He scheduled his crew to come out two days later and repair the damage. Damaged plywood was replaced by the carpenter, and dormer siding was replaced and painted. New gutters were installed on the sides of the dormers. All loose shingles were removed and replaced. All in all, this was one of the best home repair episodes I have ever had. Arran made it very clear what was wrong and what needed to be done to repair the damage. His estimate was free. The work crew was very courteous, worked continuously and cleaned up all debris when the job was done. The best part was the price after discounts. This company offers a variety of discounts such as a senior citizen discount. I am very pleased with this company and wished all home repairs went as smoothly as this one. My experience with RepairMyRoof4Less.com could not have gone any better. I was in San Antonio for only a short period of time to take care of my house and get it ready to put on the market for sale. I had noticed some missing shingles when I first drove to the house and contacted RepairMyRoof4Less.com for a quote. Their quote came in below the others that I received and they were able to get workers to repair the problems before I left town. Before and after pictures were taken so that I could see exactly what was wrong and how the roof looked after it was repaired. Arran explained in detail the things I wanted to know about my roof and talked me through how things would be handled. I especially liked the fact that he didn't try to push me to purchase a new roof. He stated what was wrong and what needed to be done to fix it, and made me feel at ease about the whole sequence of events. The job went very well. Arran explained everything in great detail, provided a quick and fair offer, and did not try to sell me a new roof. The work was done incredibly fast and professionally. In all, the work took maybe three hours . Being a small project, I expected to be put off or delayed. That was not the case. He had supplies at the house early and the workers followed soon thereafter to complete the job. Other than I no longer had ugly rotten wood boards along the front of my house, you could not tell work had been done. The job site was clean with no debris left on the ground or in my flower beds. No plants died during the project either!

When the company owner came by later on to check the work that was done, he was very informative about what was done to repair the roof and what the warranty covered. I was much more than impressed with the service and will use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

The estimator was very professional in appearance, manner, knowledge of roofing, he explained every detail of how the job would unfold. The price beat out all my other bids after his discounts were applied. I will say this, don't be discouraged if his bid comes in the same or slightly higher than your other bids, as he explains, the initial bid is to show consistent pricing with other contractors, then he gives control over the price to the customer, allowing the customer to knock his price down with qualifying discounts, that's when the real difference starts to show, doing it this way shows the customer that the discount is really a discount as apposed to just raising the price to allow for a discount which really isn't a discount after all. Bottom line, anyone can mark up a bid really high and bring the price right back down with a big discount, but really all that does is get you right back to where you would have been anyway, this company has taken a whole new approach to discounts, In fact I'm thinking of applying RepairMyRoof4Less.com's technique to my own business. The company did a great job on the repairs, showing me pictures throughout the process, they came out Thursday and bid the job, by Friday afternoon the work was done. If your getting multiple bids do make this company one of them. One last thing, not once did I get that uncomfortable feeling that I was being taken advantage of, or that they were trying to pull one over on me, it was nice for a change.

Arran provided a free full visual inspection along with pictures along with his estimate. His bid was the best of the three roofing contractors we received. Be sure to ask about their set discounts for military, senior, etc. When our discounts were included, the price was well below the next lowest bid. Fair, competitive pricing with no surprises. What they quoted is what we paid. We signed on a Friday and Monday the roof was done. Very responsive. We had a little miscommunication that delayed the paid invoice, but when I asked about it, I got a prompt phone call and all was cleared up. Our roof is about 18 years old and faded. Originally it was a black roof, but now a faded gray. RepairMyRoof4Less.com did a good job trying to matching the current color. Impossible to be perfect blend, but came very close. Workmanship was good and all the debris was hauled away. Any roofing job will leave behind nails, but I didn't find many....and I went around carefully looking. They were contentious and determined to do repairs the right way. Definitely would use them again and recommend them to anyone.
