 + -1 moreI emailed RepairMyRoof4Less to get a quote to repair a leaking box vent on my roof that was causing my ceiling to leak. Not only was Arran the first person to call me back out of the 3 companies I reached out to, he also was the first to come inspect the home. Within a total of a few days, he had taken pictures of my roof, walked me through my options and performed the work. I ended up replacing all the vents and installing a ridge vent. Arran was very nice to deal with, very knowledgable and fair pricing. Will not hesitate to call him for any future repairs. Thanks Arran!

 + -1 moreAaron is a star. After two supposedly professional roofers gave me ridiculous quotes and told me that even if I chose them to do the work, THEY WOULD NOT GUARANTEE IT! I read Arron's reviews and figured why not, what could I lose. Aaron was prompt, professional and took the time to explain everything. He said that my roof had minor, minor hail damage, and did not need to be fixed at all. Another company wanted to do a "maintenance" for me to the tune of $650.00 with no guarantee. Aaron told me that I have an asphalt roof and they don't need yearly maintenance. Aaron also told me that in 2-3 years, if no major storms hit before, I will probably have to replace my roof. A decent roofer who is honest and helpful. I wish I could make him number one on Angie's list. He deserves it. In 2-3 years I will call Aaron and have him replace my roof. I would be a fool to call anybody else!

If you want your roof done right, by people who know what they are doing, using quality materials, sound roofing practices - and - while keeping your budget in mind, call Arran. This is the second time we used this company and both times our expectations have been exceeded. Highly recommend for roof replacement or repair - and Arran also has contacts for a good carpenter and stone mason if, like us, you need those services as well. He has been in the roofing business for many years and knows his "stuff". He personally checked all work done before asking for payment. When the time comes for my roof to be replaced, I will definitely call Arran.
Description of Work: My roof had a leak around a vent which involved a bad pipe boot. My insurance adjuster suggested I have all pipe boots replaced which was done.

Arran personally came and provided the preliminary estimate, took photos, explained the proposed statement of work based on the photos, delivered all the materials, and personally conducted the final post-repair inspection. A team was dispatched to our home about two days after we agreed via contract. His team was extremely thorough and professional; they even stayed on to complete the repairs amidst another rain storm, ensuring that no further damage would be done on account of the existing leaks. We could not have asked for a better experience and will recommend their services without fail. They've earned a customer for life.

He described everything that needed to be done in detail and provided us with a quote that included pictures. They have a great system for sending you the pics and quote via email - very professional. In this day and age, it is so, so nice to do business with someone who is ethical and has the required expertise. The price quoted was very reasonable and his crew was very polite and did a great job. If we need roof repair or replacement in the future, I know who to call! Highly recommend.

I stated I did not want them to come out again and was not interested in their services. They came anyways while I was not home and still tried to charge me for the estimate.

If they bother to return my call in the first place, and if they bother to show up to the appointment, too often the experience has been less than satisfying. Arran was a refreshing change. Not only did he return my call and show up to estimate my roof problems, he displayed a high degree of knowledge about roofing practices and was very eager about his work. He provided a detailed estimate and justified his costs. He inspected the work of his crew and kept in contact with us, even though he could be sometimes difficult to reach. Overall, we are highly satisfied with the results.

He said the one hundred and seventy five wouldn't cover all the things needed to do the roof. He came to see me and he wanted to look. He looked around and then he gave me a quote. He was suppose to come and do all these minor repairs to my roof and it didn't work out. Then I called another guy and he said your roof is okay. I couldn't tell any quality because they didn't do any work. The time they said they would come they came. The people were fine. There was only one person that came out to see me.

Description of Work: I had a bad ceiling leak whenever it rained, the rain coming in around the back wall fireplace and soaking a large section of the back wall. I let it go too long and plaster was peeling off and it was a mess. I was afraid of what the cost would be. Arran arrived promptly and impressed me immediately with his thorough knowledge. He ran me through various possibilities and it was clear to me that he wanted me to be well informed in order to make the best decision and also to have realistic expectations about the results. He wanted me to be aware that a number of factors could be at play in why the rain was seeping through, and that he was making his best, experienced assessment. He turned out to be completely accurate. The workman did great work - the repair and the flashing they put were all done with great care. And Arran was there, through every step of the job with just a few moments when he made a trip for more materials, and he oversaw it all, making sure they did a first rate job. I know all this because I watched over them a lot, wanting to see what I could see, going up to the roof and checking their progress. Why did I wait almost a year to post this? There are several reasons, including serious illness, but I also intended to wait so that I could report how the work held up through a series of rain storms. Well, we've had some severe rains over the past year and not a drop of water has gotten through RepairMyRoofForLess' work. I was and still am EXTREMELY PLEASED with the work they did for the price they charged. It was a bargain. I would and I WILL go back to RepairMyRoofForLess when I need any other roof work done. I highly recommend them.

 + -1 moreAfter reading the outstanding reviews of this service provider, we called to schedule an appointment to have our roof checked for leaks. There were some minor leaks during a recent heavy rain and we weren't sure whether it needs to be replaced or just repaired. They were scheduled out approximately 2 weeks but we went ahead and made the appointment even though our schedules are prone to change that far out. Unfortunately, it turned out that we were unavailable to meet at the agreed time so we called to reschedule as soon as we realized this. No one answered the phone when we called to cancel and we did not receive a return call to reschedule. Another call was placed today, (11/19/2015), to try again to reschedule and again no one answered. It was very disappointing since the reviews for this contractor were so good.

 + -1 moreThe whole experience getting a roofer to even look at repairing (as opposed to replacing) our roof was challenging, to say the least. With the spring storm season, roofers in San Antonio were very busy. We did find RepairMyRoof4Less on Angie's list and gave them a try. I was really impressed when pictures arrived in my e-mail box showing me the roof damage and what needed to be done, along with an estimate. I didn't like the price...but I did get 1 other estimate that was considerably higher...although our insurance estimate was less than $500 for repair. Arran coordinated the repair, arrived as expected and took care of the roof, and after applying the Angie's list discounts and plan we purchased, the payment we made was $747. The 'after' pictures arrived in our e-mail box as well (I really appreciate that service!). I believe the shingles could have been better matched, but overall, I think the service performed was acceptable and handled professionally.
Description of Work: The roofer removed and installed 3 tabs of composition shingle roofing as well as installed flashing.

 + -1 moreI purchased the roof repair tune-up as I could see a few shingles had slipped. A few gentlemen came out to assess my roof and set an appointment to repair. The crew came out and patched my roof within an hour. They also found another area that needed repair and did that at the same time. The color on the shingles was a bit off and they mentioned that it would blend after a few months. Well it's after a few months and the color is now blending with the rest of the roof. Well worth their efforts and will use them again for any future repair or replacement. They also gave me a bit of advise on my roof that I was very appreciative. On time, courteous, effecient, and well worth their tune-up cost.
