It took a few days for us to agree on a day for the service to be provided but once we did they were very professional. Call to let me know that he was on his way. Upon arriving he put booties on before entering my house. Did the service that was requested and no problems were found except for a part that was going bad which was replaced that day. Upon finishing putting the part in he cleaned the outside of our unit with the waterhose. Very professional job. Thank you.

The technician Albert called when he was on his way to my residence and arrived on time. He introduced himself and explained how he was going to proceed. Albert checked and tested all the components that were part of the inspection/tuneup and added 1lb of freon to each unit to improve performance. I was very pleased with his work ethics and the information he provided to me. This was an excellent price and experience for this type of service and Schmidt Mechanical Group Is my go to company for a/c and heating.

Excellent. Contractor showed up a little ahead of scheduled, but called prior to verify it would be ok to arrive early. He was very polite was knowledgeable of his profession. Would highly recommend Schmidt Mechanical Group, Inc..

I would use Schmidt A/C again. In fact I plan on calling them to service the air conditioner at my rental. Quincy called 30 minutes prior to let me know he was en route and showed up during the scheduled time. After cleaning out the outside compressor he inspected the air conditioner in the attic and inspected the drain lines. Very punctual. great service, and very honest when it came to the condition of the A/C unit.

Rusty was on time, professional and made good recommendations about AC operation and filters. He answered all of my questions, especially about talking thru all of their AC unit options. $65 would have been a real bargain if it was determined I needed a pound of freon, but I didn't need it. I may need to replace my unit and i will consider Schmidt Mechanical to perform because of Rusty professional recommendation and because he took the time to explain everything thoroughly.

They came up and spent about 20 minutes. There wasn't anything wrong, I just want them to check it to make sure it's ok.

I don't know whether Schmidt's $39 checkup coupon on their website would have included all of the same services I received, but it was worth it to me to pay more in case I needed the freon refill.

A Pull & Clean on the indoor coils was recommended by the technician on the initial visit Tuesday. I was able to schedule the work to be done that same week. They showed up on time, very respectful of our home. Very polite. We will be using them again in the future!

Rusty Cain came out for the initial visit was to check out the A/C. It wasn't keeping up with the heat!! From the start, I was very impressed with his professionalism and overall thoroughness. He showed me all the readings. Added 3lb of R-12. Explained what he had to do. I asked about a New System. He asked all the right questions, Did all the measurements, the Attic as well. He got on the phone and within an hour I had a very complete and detailed quote covering a variety of size appropriate options. The option we selected "Comfort Maker 3ton unit A/C and Heating." The price was competitive with other units. Mr. Cain coordinated the install date with us, "next day installation." Next day the crew got here early (as Rusty said they would), put up the appropriate city permits (which Air Systems had pulled), laid down drop cloths to protect our flooring/carpets, and got right to work. By four in the afternoon the unit was up and running and by 6:30 PM the crew had completed the install and done a fantastic clean up job. I scheduled the city code compliance inspector to come by the 7th Aug.. LET ME TELL YOU, THE A/C IS WORKING "GREAT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 12 YEARS!" :-) Thanks Rusty, One Heck Of A Job.

John arrived on time and was very courteous. He completed the check up service and notified me of his discovery of 2 issues and clearly explained the impact of the issues. He provided suggestions on alternatives and cost associated with each. He completed the repairs in a timely and courteous manner. I appreciated his evaluation and completion of the needed work.

Very well. Rep (Quincey) was on time, curteous and explained what he was doing. I was very pleased.

I was very impressed with the technician who went about his job very professional, including cleaning up after the drain line overflowed and spilled. He also showed me how my thermostat is not accurate and recommended that I change it out sometime, which impressed me that he did not try to convince me that I needed to do it now. He also found that the capacitor was nearing its end of life, but left it up to me to decide to replace it, which I did because I know that's the first thing that blows on most a/c units. All-in-all, I have a very good impression with this company and will use it again next year. Thank you Quinton for making it less humid inside now.

Albert came on time and was very polite. However, he did not initially intend to do all of the services listed in the Big Deal, such as flushing and treating the condensate drain with anti-algae product or removing debris from the condenser coil. He told me that there would be an additional charge for these services. However, after I showed him a printout of the Big Deal, he did the services without complaint. I did not see him lubricate anything or really inspect the duct work. When he checked the pressure of the refrigerant, I asked him what the normal readings for my unit was and he said that it varied according to the weather and temperature. I never had anyone tell me that before. I am not saying that he is wrong, but I just lost confidence in his work after he did not know all of the services that were supposed to be provided as listed in the Big Deal.

Called Schmidt Mechanical to buy their $65.00 AC check up deal to hopefully get my AC cooling again. Same day service was great, and unexpected in July. Technician Albert was prompt, courteous, and knew what he was doing. He completed the advertised 20 point check out, diagnosed the problem, and fixed my AC. No pressure to buy unwanted gadgets, or a new unit. He focused on fixing the problem. Definitely have Schmidt Mechanical Group on my "use again" list.

Great Customer Service from Susan who answered the phone and professionally scheduled our service, and then on short notice rescheduled our service after a personal scheduling problem, to Quincy, the service technician, who showed up on time, and who was professional and courteous in handling our entire service call. Quincy professionally explained concerns about our HVAC unit so that we could easily understand current needs, and future needs down the road. He also took time to crawl up into our small attic, on a day that was 100 degrees outside, and must have been over 150 in our attic to carefully assess our aging duct work system. Great Job Schmidt...I would definitely have you back to service our HVAC, and will definitely refer you to our family and friends!!!

We are still negotiating for follow up action. Company was highly responsive, returning calls within an hour. Tech came immediately (on a Sunday night!) as soon as he knew the address we had forgotten to provide :>(. Very smart and personable young man who insisted wearing booty although the place was a construction site! Highly recommended.

John from Schmidt Mechanical arrived at my home on time and dutifully put on the little booties to protect the flooring. He checked the unit in the attic and took readings of the equipment there and at the compressor. He explained what he was doing along the way, which was greatly appreciated. After replenishing the refrigerant level, he hosed off the compressor unit which had gathered grass clippings and dust. He was thorough, courteous, and my home is now comfortable?John did an excellent job.

Albert was here mid am on July 4th and completed work within an hour. Our house is cooling down and quickly. Thank you, Albert for getting our 4th of July weekend off to a "cool" start. We really appreciate it.

I have been using Schmidt for a year or so. When Rusty came out last week he tried to fix the problem but it was going to cost me way more than I wanted to spend on an old machine, so he talked to me then to Keith and came up with a price that I could live with to purchase a new system. That was Friday, on Saturday the install crew came and installed the new system. then on Monday Rusty and Albert came and finished up with a great attitude. I have never been so happy with a company or a crew. the whole team was GREAT. I would have them back and that Rusty is a really knowledgeable guy. Would tell everyone about him and the Schmidt Team.

Rusty and Albert came by to perform our regular check-up. As always, they were very polite and friendly. They even put up with the other contractor I had at the house removing birds from vents. I am always well informed about how my outdoor and indoor units are operating and any additional upkeep items that I need to keep on my radar.

Rusty arrived as promised, went the extra mile, and is so courteous he even wore booties in the house to keep from soiling the carpet! Meticulous and mannerly, he's the first we'll call upon for future needs. Schmidt called us promptly to schedule the service, and we're trruly grateful they even called to see if they could arrive earlier than expected.

John Vidal was the technician that came out. He took the time and explained that our contactor was burnt out in addition to the drain line being clogged at the system. Very courteous and knowledgeable. I really liked that they came out within 2-3 hours of me making the call--especially since we had turned off our A/C because we were afraid that the leaking was going to cause additional damage. I would use them again and refer to friends and family.

The Schmidt company was the only HVAC company I've met that took the time to understand my problems, give me options both via the telephone and via email without having had an appointment or having met. 2. The Schmidt company presented me not with a price quote for the job, but with a range of options to include prices. 3. The Schmidt company representative was punctual once the appointment was made, he wore covering for his shoes and most importantly, he asked me what was my concerns versus looking at the Furnace & Air Conditioner. 4. The Representative once again gave me a range of options, he did not make any specific recommendations from the set of options presented. He let me make the choice. 5. After I made me choice the paperwork was completed quickly, the appointment was made within a short time period. 6. The Workers showed up on time, protected all the flooring, worked quickly and professionally. 7. Excellent crew, Excellent company, quality product, and yes I have saved money and the product has performed as promised.

I had been scheduled for my spring maintenance but my AC died before the appointment. I called Schmidt Mechanical and asked if I could be rescheduled earlier due to the unexpected issue. Keith said he would send someone out that morning. Technician Rusty came out and assessed the situation and showed me the problem - faulty part. He replaced the part and serviced my unit. Rusty is knowledgeable and easy to work with, no high pressure selling. I would recommend this company, the employees are friendly and helpful and the charges, reasonable.
