Joe was fantastic, I knew I liked him from the moment he came to do the measuring. H

Everything went really well. The quality of the granite, selected from a granite yard they recommended, was excellent. Mr. Prado and his team installed everything according to schedule, and the workmanship that was shown was excellent. All of my granite seams are virtually invisible and all of my tile work is beautiful and level. The only complaint I have was that they forgot to spray on the sealer on my tile backsplash. I paid $13 at Home Depot for the spray and did it myself. Overall I really like these guys and I thought the granite work was excellent. I would hire these guys again, as they have a great attitude and work very hard..

I wanted to do the demolition to save some money, Mr. Prado explained exactly what I needed to do. We scheduled the first step in manufacturing the granite counter tops for the next Monday. Mr. Prado came in with a crew of one and made temp plates of all the counters to be manufactured. Mr. Prado's crew came in as scheduled and went to work installing the new counter tops.mr. Prado's crew was very professional, and carried on a light hearted banter throughout the installation, which made me aware of the cohesiveness of the crew. They finished the installation and cleaned all the area and left it spotless. The estimate Mr. Prado gave me the first time was exactly what I paid even after I had asked for some extras...I had expected to be charged and was pleasantly surprised when he said no charge! Mr. Prado provided us an extra we did not expect. made a cutting board for our new counter top!

Joe understood immediately what I needed. He explained what he would do, when he could do it, and for how much it would cost. He contacted me when he was running a little behind for our appointment and explained why. He actually made up some time and went right to work. Joe is an amazing craftsman and actually a good artist as he mixed the epoxy for the seam to match my granite almost perfectly and even included specs to match the specs in my granite. He completed & inspected his work very professionally. He made very little mess, but cleaned up everything leaving it as clean (or better) than he found it. I was very pleased with his quote for the work and the fact that he would actually travel out here in the country to perform the work when others would not. I highly recommend Joe Prado for any of your marble or granite work.

Excellent customer service and results! Called Joe in a panic after another Angie's List granite cutter/installer bailed out on me at the last minute, saying they were not qualified to do what I needed done. Joe came in the next morning and gave me a reasonable estimate, and said they could definitely perform the work (and that any reputable granite company should have been able to). He arrived again with his helper two days later and did an amazing job getting everything done -- with care, precision, and a professional and courteous attitude. They helped me out of a tight scheduling crunch, putting us back on track to get moved into our newly remodeled home. Love Prado's Granite!! Would definitely recommend them to friends/relatives.

Work was done professionally. Staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. Cost was great. One of the other competitors quoted me a price about 5 times as much.

We are very happy with our kitchen.

They did an amazing job. They were extremely helpful from start to finish and explained every single step along the way. We decided we wanted to do this at the last minute and they were able to get it completed in a very short amount of time (about a week from start to finish!). They do a great job with the seams and it is very obvious that they love what they do and have a lot of pride in their work. We will be using them again very soon to install granite in our guest bathroom.

We actually hired Prado Granite thru our contractor Rod's Remodeling that was renovating our master bathroom. Eventually we fired Rod's and all his trades for poor craftsmanship EXCEPT Prado Granite. For some reason... I felt very confident that Prado Granite was a professional company and knew what they were doing. And I am very pleased and happy that I did proceed with using Prado Granite. They did an excellent job. I was very concerned with the visability of the seams that they had to put on the tub deck and the backsplash of the sinks but Anthony did an wonderful job. He is truley a great craftsman of his trade. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. Since they initially did my master bathroom last year, I have had them back to do the hall bathroom and just recently they did our powder bathroom. I am also going to hav e them back to try and fix the seams that Home Depot put in 5 years ago. Do not hesitate to hire Prado Granite !!!!

We chose Prado's because they will do small jobs with no minimum square footage. They also had awesome prices on remnant pieces of granite that we could choose from. Everyone was really friendly and fun to work with. They have good communication and teamwork and were really professional and enthusiastic about their love for granite. The countertop looked unimaginably beautiful when finished, and it cost less than even a low end solid surface from Lowes! The BEST BEST part is that it took them only a FEW DAYS to install. Not 4-6 weeks like the big stores- less than a week from the time we first visited the shop we were totally done. Maybe it was just because we had a small job, but nonetheless, what a great surprise.

Mr. Prado helped me find the right sink to fit in and after I ordered it and it came in, he and his crew did a great job of cutting out the right amount to drop in the new sink.

Both projects, new cabinets and new countertops, went well. I saved money by contacting Habitats for Humanity to deinstall my old cabinets and procured a tax write-off (charity). I got great pricing by paying in cash (check vs credit card) to both contractors. The projects went smooth as silk and on schedule. Joe Prado and Mr Cabinet Wizard work well together and they're both highly professional and very customer oriented; therefore, I'd recommend either to anyone in SA.

I attempted to get an estimate for countertops from this company. It took many phone calls to arrange an appointment. I asked for a Saturday appointment because I work and did not want to have to take vacation time to meet with estimators. I was told that they did not do estimates on Saturdays. The office person, Maggie, was always pleasant and professional; however, on the long-awaited day of appointment, Mr. Prado did not show up. His office called to say his (borrowed) car died. Because in earlier conversations I was told the company had "a BIG install" that same day, I simply did not believe the excuse, but accepted it, and agreed to reschedule. The appointment was rescheduled for Saturday at 3:30 (although earlier I was told that Saturdays weren't possible). This time was not a convenient time for me on that Saturday because I had out of town guests, but I agreed because I had been waiting weeks for an appointment.. My guests and I arranged our schedules to be at the house at the appropriate time. We waited and waited. No phone call. No Mr. Prado. We left the house again at 7:30----never heard from him. Obviously, a residential installation is just too small to be of interest to these people. And it's obvious the customer service just wouldn't be there. Maggie did call on Monday to reschedule again, saying that Mr. Prado was giving estimates out of town and couldn't get back in time, but the inconvenience and lack of consideration was indicative of the lack of concern I felt I would receive. Consequently, I did not reschedule (AGAIN) and would never hire this company because I believe they are not concerned enough about their customers to arrange for an appointment convenient for the customer and not concerned enough to keep appointments or to show up when scheduled.

Mr. Joe Prado is a very professional marble fabricator who takes a great deal of pride in his work and the finished product he gives the customer. He was with us every step of the way to explain and help me choose which types of granite would work in my kitchen, how it should be cut and laid out, and the final installation. I was extremely pleased with his work ethic along with that of his employees, they were all very professional, on time, and completed the project when expected. I am considering remodeling my bathrooms and Mr. Joe Prado will be the first person I call.

Mr Prado gave us a bid last year on doing this work. We could not do the work then. When we called him this year he honored last years bid. He sent us the granite yard. We found our granite and when the cabinets were ready he came out to measure for the tops. The granite was then delivered and the new sink installed. It was a perfect fit and beautiful. It is rare to find a craftsman who takes pride in his work and keeps his word.

Prado has a good reputation with local granite yards. We used them before with good results. Therefore, we were surprised by disappointing customer service. The job was templated by an employee. When we went down to lay out the stone, Joe was dissatisfied with the template and we returned home with Joe to re-template. During installation Joe was not present. All went well until the last piece, which was too tight. They forced it, which caused chipping along the seam, and they repaired it. We paid in full, but upon closer inspection we found the repair unsatisfactory and asked Joe to personally take a look. We repeatedly called to set up a time, but he kept postponing. He eventually sent a crew out to fix the repair which was better, but surely not as good as an undamaged seam. We also ordered a small table and wanted Joe to bring it and inspect the job. Again he sent employee, so we refused it. He then warned another subcontractor to be "careful" because we weren't going to pay.
