They were great! There was one person, and he was done in about 30 minutes. It was perfect. They didn't really do anything that would make a mess. What stood out was the promptness of the turnaround. When I called them, I already knew that the spring needed to be replaced, they also were really great about telling me the spring that I needed and confirm that before I went out and went on Angie's List to buy the coupon. So they confirmed everything for me before we went forward. So there was no coming out saying oh we got the wrong thing. It was just great customer service.

Very well - technician recognized that wrong springs had been previously installed and replaced both in a timely fashion.

Overall the doors look very nice and the openers are very quiet. The only concern I have was the technician didn't know how to program the outside keypad for 2 doors. I know he had several other jobs, after mine, to complete however I felt he was rushing at the end. I hopeOverhead Door can resolve this issue and connect the openers to the Homelink button in my car. My 15-20 year Sears garage door opener easily connected to my new 2016 car, however the new opener seems to be more involved.

Came with all parts and equipment required. He also lubricated the door wheels which it also needed. Will call them again if I need to.

It was partially good and partially bad. They never corrected one of the main problems that I have called them for. I had to call them back. They came out two times. The guy said it's fixed but I still have a problem. They came highly recommended and they were great with the other things they did. They just failed to fix the one particular problem which is a significant one. They were here three times in a period of over a month. They did really more than they needed to for the deal. There was one person who came and he was not very helpful and not very polite. Other than that, everybody was polite. The people in the office were very polite.

Purchased a $171 deal. Scheduled online appointment. They came out the next day. Work completed within 30 minutes. Tested spring before he left. Asked to have light checked; although that request was not a part of the service call I paid for, the tech looked at it anyway & determined the energy-efficient bulb I was using was not to be used & a regular bulb was put in. I very much appreciate him going the extra mile. I've since, recommended this company to a friend in need of garage door repair. .

They originally planned to come in two days, but ended up fixing it the same day because one of the techs finished a job early, so he fit me in. He was fast, friendly, and did a great job. I usually do house repairs myself, so I just cannot give an A for price, but compared to others, this was a good deal.

Technician, Jay, was prompt, courteous and very helpful with giving me tips on how to maintain my garage doors in good working condition. I learned a lot! He cleaned all the tracks, rollers, windows, etc. on 2 garage doors. He also lubed the springs and hinges. He also adjusted the jack shaft limits on one door. After he was through, I asked a lot of questions on how to maintain my doors in good working condition. He spent time to instruct me on how to do it as well as to the best products to buy. He also recommended I buy a simple surge protector to protect the 2 motors from blowing out in the event of a storm.

My car was trapped inside the garage due to a broken torsion spring. The company sent Jay out the same day I called. We have an oversized double garage door so they had to manufacture larger springs. Jay came back the next day with new springs and installed them, inspected and lubed everything. He's obviously knowledgeable, experienced and safety conscious. The work went very quickly and the door is now perfectly balanced. He even found a hidden nail that was making a horrible noise every time it opened. Jay explained everything as he worked, so I now know what to look for and how to perform first echelon maintenance. The company kept the extra costs down, for which I am very grateful. Overhead Door will be my first choice for any future work and I recommend them to my neighbors.

It went well. They did the service quickly, so you can tell they know what they are doing. The new spring is working okay. The only feedback I have is I wish the deal was for 2 springs instead of 1, because if only 1 is changed, you know the other will go bad soon as well. I feel like the company and myself are wasting our time when we could have done both springs at once.

I bought the Angie's List "$170 Deal to repair one broken spring" that snapped just 4 years after this same company had installed my all new garage door and opener (for around $900). Then they told me I should really replace both springs because it would be another $170 if they have to come again and they could do both for just $98+ more if I did them both at the same time.... For that reason I replaced them both but it seems 4 years was a short life for a spring, and $300 seems like a lot to replace them. . On a positive note, the technician arrived on time, was courteous, and the job was completed in about 30 minutes.

Overhead Door Company contacted me within hours of purchasing the deal online and was very flexible with their availability. Their technician was friendly and professional, and even helped me reprogram the motor and keypad that I had, walking me through how to take care of it myself in the future. I was extremely happy with the service and even happier to be able to park my truck in the garage again!

I was very happy with the prompt service. I called Tuesday morning and it was fixed by Wednesday afternoon. The provider called to give me an estimated window. The service man also called to tell me he would be about an hour later which was OK with me. The price was very reasonable. He did exactly what needed to be done and didn't try to sell me anything else. The door was otherwise in fine condition and needed no other work or any parts. He processed my credit card and finished the paperwork very quickly and was on his way in well under an hour.

We had two garage doors with one motorized opener that was over 30 years old. They removed all of this, installed two new doors and two new Liftmasters door openers with Wifi capability. Everything works well and looks nice. Very happy with the new doors.

They replaced the spring in my garage door, which had snapped. They also cheeked all the other parts of the garage door system and lubricated all the moving parts. Additionally I asked advice on the outside door opening device, they fully explained what I was doing wrong and causing sporadic problems in using. Overhead Door was extremely responsive to my request with very quick turn around from the time I called them to to response. The technician was knowledgeable and explained the typical time frame for the liability for the spring part, which helped me understand its durability. I would definitely using them again for my garage door and motor. I would recommend this company to my friends.

When we bought our house the previous owner had lost the keys to the garage door. After checking with several locksmith, etc., I had found the cost prohibitive to have the lock re-keyed and had almost given up. Then I went to the Overhead Door location on Weidner. The staff there were very knowledgeable, friendly, courteous. After I told them what I needed, they found a part and offered it at a very reasonable price. Considering all the places I had checked before (including some other locations for the same company), I found this Overhead Door staff to be exactly what a customer needs - competent, courteous, fair and responsive. If I ever need a whole door (or even a part of the system) I would not hesitate in going back to this location. They are the best!

This company responded immediately and had my spring replaced within a day expertly with exactly the right parts and took less than an hour. It turned out the service truck did not have the correct door seal but a follow up appointment was made and I was only charged for the seal material as consolation for not bringing the right seal the first time.

The garage door fell when the spring on the left side broke on a Friday. We got the name of the company from Angie's reviews and clipped a coupon. The call was answered quickly but they were booked until the following Wednesday. No confirmation call beforehand, but they did come out as promised and did an excellent job for a reasonable price. Technician was friendly and professional, but forgot his ladder and had to come back later. The garage door works fine and he appears to have quieted the operation of the lifter.

After review of the 3 estimates we went with a different company for the removal of the two garage doors and installation of two new garage doors.
