NEXT SERVICE

I needed someone to come out and fix my refrigerator. The ice door was flipped. I called them up and let them know the model and make of the refrigerator. I asked them to bring out the part that they needed to fix the ice maker to optimize their time. The repair man did not get the information. They told me that they couldn't rely on me to tell them what was wrong. I paid $19 and had provided them with the information to get it done in one trip, but they told me that it would have been two trips anyway because they can't rely on me and can't carry everything in the van. They wouldn't give me the information to order it myself. They told me that it would be a flat rate of $200.

It went well. He told me what needed to be done to air conditioner and gave me a quote to recharge freon. Explained things to me clearly. My husband said that he was very respectful of me as a woman, and was proud the way I handled things and asked questions, which the tech was very forthcoming. He checked everything and did not make any statements to me, such as, this needs to be done now, etc. He spent time explaining things instead of giving me the impression he was in a hurry.

The repairman from Next Service was prompt and went right to work on repairing my Ice Maker. He not only repaired the Ice Maker, but also detected that the right door of my refrigerator was lower than it needed to be. It was scraping the bottom of the refrigerator base. We knew that the door was getting lower and lower over time, but we could still close it. He explained that eventually the door would get too low to close, so he ordered the part that was broken on the door and came back a few days later and repaired it. I am appreciative that he did not just repair the Ice Maker and leave. He was concerned about the entire appliance working correctly. I would definitely use Next Service again.

Went smoothly. Arrived at appointed time, Changed out the motor with minimum complications. I was bit hesitant when they wanted me to pay up front for the replacement motor they were ordering, but they agreed to a 50% down payment and we proceeded from there. Claudia in their office was pleasant and accommodating. The technician was knowledgeable and efficient.

Although not listed in the fine print in the deal or on the coupon printed, the coupon was strictly for diagnostic fee. Parts and labor were both extra (only parts extra was listed on the coupon.) Whether deceptive or just very poorly written, that should have been clearly stated in the fine print of the deal and on the printable coupon. The provider did not perform the work as they stated they were not able to get the part needed (which Sears Home Service was able to get within a day.)

He checked out our 11 year old washer and told us it was better/cheaper to replace the washer than repair it because the parts would be refurbished and take lots of time to get. In addition he said that other parts would probably break down in the near future because of the age of the washer. What honesty. I highly recommend Next Service.

It worked! He also recommended a lower setting for our refrigerator not freezer to keep problem from happening again.

Tech was on time and courteous and did not try to high pressure us into the repairs.

I've been an Angies List member for just over a year and this is my first time to use the servise. I thought I paid for a diagnostic, not somebodys best guess. I was expecting the rep from Next to spend more than 5 minutes with my issue regarding the fridge. He brought nothing in with him, no tools, so based on that fact and that this was an Angies Deal I felt like he was here just to make an appearance. He opend the freezer, stuck his head in and left. I got a call within the hour telling me it will be 287.00 to fix his best guess. Would he have spent more time had I paid full price? Who knows.... Not too happy with my first experience. Unfortunately, he determined that my washer's bearings were worn out explaining the noise during the spin cycle. As a result I bought a new washer

Prior "tune up" service provider apparently messed up the hvac and then tried to sell me a replacement scenario over $3000 or a new unit for over $4000. Next Service guy, as above noted, explained all the problems and the disconnected wiring left by the prior folks, and said it could be fixed for around $200, but it cost $410 as indicated above. I do not think he arbitrarily increased his bill--just found more stuff that needed fixing than originally contemplated, and had to make a second trip out with one of the parts needed.

The work was done professionally and was completed quickly. This is the second time we have used them and they always do amazing work.

The service associate was very polite. He arrived within the scheduled time. After he looked at my stove, he told me there wasn't a problem with my stove and that the problem was actually electrical in nature. I appreciated his honesty and it allowed me to promptly have the problem fixed.

Courteous. Punctual. Good job. Reasonable price. Will use them again.

Very well. No complaints from tenant.

They called me the next day to make an appointment came in on time and the tech was very friendly and knowledgable

I wanted service as soon as possible because my dishwasher was leaking and Next Service sent someone out fairly soon. It was determined that I needed a water valve that they had to order. As soon as the part was in, Next Service was there to install it. Problem solved!

It went very well. He showed up on time, found the issue quickly and had the parts on hand. He explained and showed me the part that was broken. He suggested that I have my dryer vents cleaned which I did two days later by COIT. Two weeks later the dryer stopped drying again. They came over the next day and identified a heating coil that had broken. He apologized and only charged me for the cost of the part and not for the trip or labor.

The tech told us we would be better off investing in new machines.

Went ok until the cost to fix was about $224,had the dryer 6 yrs couldn't fix until next day. Sears had dryers on sale for $430, I went to Sears

Service was very satisfied and would them again!

He showed up on time and was very courteous. There was a point that he thought he may have not been able to fix it that day and he noticed I got antsy about it and he said ‘let me go get this part and get another job sorted out and I’ll stop back by at the end of the day and get this fixed today’ and there are not many people do that and I just really appreciated it.

They never came out. When I spoke with them on the phone and clarified what the deal was, I decided that was not what I needed.

There was no labor just visual inspections. He was a very nice and professional man and the visit was about 5 minutes. They were late but did call me to advise they were running late. I am not sure if I would use them again since I don’t have anything to base their work off of.

The company was very thorough about explaining what needed to be done. Gave us the time frame and when it could be done and how long the system would take to install. We gave the go ahead. On the day of installation, they were right on time and started dismantling the system. They had everything installed by the evening and even stayed late to have it up and running. The house stayed fairly cool, and we set up some fans. They gave up info to set the temp on the old system to lower to cool the house off more, so it took a bit for it to start heating up. We were very grateful for all the info. They came by the next day to double check everything and then called about a week later. They followed up with the rebate with the city, so we were able to get a break on our energy bill. It was a great experience.
