Description of Work: The technician determined that the my dishwasher's motor was damaged. The cost to repair it was not justifiable so we decided to opt for a new dishwasher. They came out the same day I called and they made it to my house when promised. Diagnosed the problem quickly and gave me an explanation of what was wrong. He had to go across town to pick up the necessary parts and got back and fixed the machine promptly. While he was here he also gave me an estimate for the repair of my AC units that has a leak. Great service, great attitude and a good job explaining the issue. I will definitely use them again.

Two gentlemen from the Company arrived during the agreed upon time window (which was good because I took time off of work to let them in the house). They performed an inspection of the A/C system consistent with the coupon that I purchased. When they were finished, they walked me through some of the problems with the system and gave me advice on what to do. Overall, I felt that they were very courteous, punctual, and performed services consistent with my expectations. I would use them again in the future.

I was very impressed with the consultant, he explained everything to us. Gave us the date for the installation, and contacted us the day before to make sure we were set up for the time. They were prompt with starting with the job, and finished up in one day, and got us running with air within the day. They did not leave until the job was complete. They came back the next day to ensure that everything was running, and that we were completely happy. They then called us back in one week to come back and double check all the joints and the systems to ensure everything was good. They also brought us the paperwork to send into City Public Service for the rebate, and made sure that all paperwork was in order. They have been a wonderful company to work with, and would recommend them to anyone looking for air conditioner or heating systems

Because of the nature of my work, I played phone tag for a few days but was able to contact company via text and email. Appointment set -- owner came a bit after schedule but no problems. Switch out of ice maker made quickly. However, first fix didn't work, owner came out second time and replaced ice maker unit at no additional cost to me. I was not home during the second visit due to my work schedule but left entrance code with receptionist so repairman could come in. I kenneled my dogs -- repair man gave dogs a treat!!! :-) NOTHING missing. VERY honest and reliable. Claudia, the receptionist is the best. VERY professional. I also thought I might need my AC unit charged and I was able to call the same day of my appointment and let them know. they were ready to make the fix if necessary. it wasn't necessary and the company did not try to oversell or make me pay for a repair I didn't need. After the second visit, receptionist called to let me know they would be on standby if the icemaker still wasn't working. Icemaker was fixed. What I liked the most was that the owner explained to me the possible costs to repair the refrigerator and also told me to consider the age of the appliance and if it was worth fixing. For example, if the repair was 100.00, maybe worth it. If the repair was 300.00 maybe not due to the appliance being 7 years old.

The guy called me and we had an appointment for yesterday from 12-4. He calls me at 7pm tell me me he was lost and could not find my location. He then called me 4 more times in 30 minutes after I gave him detailed instructions how to get to my home, which was only two turns off the road that he was on. Well, even after all of that, this NEXTSERVICE never showed up. They then sent me a message through my Angie's List account telling me to contact Angie's List for a refund, but I want them to come do the job that I paid for. I then called them this morning and left a voicemail and I still have not heard back from them.

Dear member, While we don’t like to see negative reviews on our profile, we appreciate any feedback we can get so we know where we can improve our service for our customers, which is our number one priority. In regards to this specific situation, this member gave us an address where the work that was to be performed, that didn’t exist. When we called to find out where he wanted us to go, he gave us a different address. We were very confused as to why the customer gave us incorrect information in the first place, but tried this other address anyway. We had issues finding this address as well, and basically we were on a wild goose chase trying to find this customer’s home. It was at this point in the evening where we decided this wasn’t going to work out for either party, and informed the member to call Angie’s List for a refund for his Big Deal. While we regret this member had a negative experience with our company, we have a difficult time servicing customers when we can’t get accurate information on where we need to go. The repairman was very professional and arrived on time for the scheduled appointment. He was very thorough and explained exactly what needed to be done to remedy the problem. I was impressed with his level of knowledge and skill working with the interior AC. He used nitrogen to force the blockage out of the main AC line. He also used a chemical to clean the algae from the drain pan. Everything worked out so well, I asked him for a maintenance agreement to help extend the life of my AC. I believe the quality and his attention to detail is what prompted me to continue using Next Service.

We were called just before the technician arrived to perform the service. The technician arrived promptly at the time the dispatcher said he would arrive. I was very pleased that i didn't have to wait very long. They technician performed all the A/C diagnostics including testing the power and Freon levels. He then blew out the drain pipe to clear out any algae. I am happy to report that my A/C is now in tip top shape and ready for our San Antonio Summer!

We used the company under the direction of our home warranty plan. Our a/c went out and they came out to repair it. We were told they repaired the problem with the a/c and the problem was electrical, but we had an electrician fix the electrical problem and the a/c definitely did not work. We had hired a previous company to tell us what was wrong before realizing we had to use the company the home warranty plan wanted us to use and were told contradicting information. After we called the company back and told them the a/c was still not working they said they would send a technician that evening. No one showed so we called and we were told that they couldn't make it because they were at the previous customer's house and it was raining there so they couldn't do the work and had to wait for it to stop raining (meanwhile it sunshine at my house, 98 degrees inside and they had already told us they repaired the problem). They came the next day AFTER the 5 hour window we waited at home sweating, said we needed a new motor (which we already knew from the first company) and that the technician would get the part and return. He never showed, never called, so we called the office who again told us who couldn't make it back that day and would come tomorrow during a 5 hour window. The person from the office said this was because the warehouse had closed and he couldn't make it on time (even though he left our house hours before the closing time). The rep from the home warranty plan told us that it was because a part had to be shipped overnight from somewhere else. All this time our house is unlivable. We called a different a/c company who came within an hour and fixed the problem.

We would like to inform that we have been working for Landamerica Home Warranty for the past six years and thousands of homeowners who have received our services through Landamerica and are very satisfied. The Member is one of those customers who we never had the pleasure to meet in person but her husband was present at the time of the first appt. and did advise him about the electrical problem and explained to him it was outdated, miswired and it was hazardous, he was very anxious and wanted us to fix it anyway. The technician response was he could not do that until the electrical was taken care of. Then, he told the tech, "What am I going to do? I'm going to be without a/c all this time?" The tech. reponse was "I'm sorry but your safety is our priority and concern, and since we also have to inform Landamerica as a third party who hires our services to do this work we had to report every single detail about this incident. The tech insisted before we perform our work like require in the state of Texas we need to address any safety issues and told him they need to take care of the electrical problem before we could work on the air conditioning. After he took care of the electrical problem he called us to set an appt. The second time appt. we showed up and a electrician was there still doing work so we asked them for the homeowner and they told the technician he has left and he paid us to finish the air conditioning work because he could not wait until Landamerica send you back. Then we tried to communicate with them and had no answer until now. We saw that they took the time to write a report for our service, since this is the only way to communicate with them we like to apologize for any misunderstanding that could happend at that time. Now we would like to mention all of this communication need to go through Landamerica Home Warranty as a third party who hired us to perform this service and until today they are very satisfied with our services because they where always aware of The Member's situation. As proof of this I will provide a contact number 1-800-521-2492 Reference Number (Work Order #1059582) and the contact person will be Monica in Contractor Relations who can better provide information about our quality work and their satisfaction with our services until this day and still doing work for them.
