National Property Inspections

It went great. David was early and started work before I even got there. He seemed very thorough and answered every question I threw at him. He gave me advice, made recommendations and eased my concerns. He explained everything to me as I tagged along and then recapped the findings at the end of the inspection. His report was detailed and provided examples of what "right" looks like. He left off a finding on the original report but promptly sent a corrected version. David is a true professional and I would recommend him and his company to friends and family. They honored the Angie's List discount.

David Cronauer w/National Property Inspections (NPI) were prompt, exceptionally thorough and professional during both inspections we received. David even explained some of the findings to me and my husband which we greatly appreciated. Furthermore, we received a detailed report of findings for our builder to rectify prior to proceeding w/the next stage of construction. We are grateful we decided to hire an inspector of our own to help relieve some of the stresses/concerns with new constructions and such a major investment. We will definitely utilized NPI services for the next stages of our home construction and will recommend them to friends, family and coworkers.

David is great. This is the second home he inspected for us and we are extremely pleased with how thorough he is and professional. He arrived on time and took as long as needed to inspect the home. He is a hard worker and dedicated to what he does. Great company overall.

They did a really good job. They found some issues that we would not have been aware of.

I was completely satisfied with the service I received. The company provides a 90 day limited warranty and appliance recall check as part of there service.

Rodney was extremely easy to work with and I am very relieved that I called him for an inspection. This is the first time we are buying a home, more so, building one! Rodney has an eagle eye for issues that even the city inspector could not find. He looks everywhere for potential issues, under things, inside things and even climbs above the frame like he would inspect his own home. His report is extremely well detailed with representative pictures, with easy to understand descriptions. This guy is worth every penny and I am glad I set up an appointment with him. The appointment process was very easy and they didnt mind that I had rescheduled 3 times because of delays at the construction manager's end.

Everything went very well. He was very thorough, he was on time. He was very professional.

The guy that came was Rodney Twiford and he was excellent. We liked him a lot. He came out on a Sunday and we just wanted him to take a look at our house and prioritize some things that needed to be repaired and tell us what was falling apart and what we should go after first, what had needed to most work. He came out and did a very thorough inspection. He took photographs that he gave to us and then sat down and went over everything. He was very polite and knowledgeable. He was very prompt and willing to come out on a Sunday, which is very unusual. He was really courteous and he really instilled confidence that he was a professional. His price was really good considering the work that he did.

The serviceman was timely and was very detailed in every aspect of the home inspection. The report was colorful, with pictures, describing the items that were deficient and the recommendations for correcting. When prospective homeowners look at a property, internal and external, they do not look with the eyes of an inspector. Because of the inspection, we were able to negotiate during the option phase of purchasing to have the owners correct the deficiencies that we were not aware of. I also liked the fact that the report is sent electronically and the payment can be made online. The company is very dependable. We even had them return for a re-inspection to determine if the deficient items were corrected.

The home inspectors arrived on time and performed a thorough home inspection. they took the time to explain their inspection process and pointed out many things, both good and those things they felt were deficient and needed to be repaired. They promptly provided a written report of their inspection that included pictures of deficiencies and a description of their findings. The report was emailed to me in a .pdf format file that same day of the inspection. The inspectors were very professional and very courteous. I highly recommend their service of home inspection.

They were extremely professional. They did an excellent job. My husband had a very bad experience with a home inspector years ago. He was impressed with the quality of the inspection. I was impressed that they were able to do the inspection on a Saturday with only a two day notice.

I am writing this review because Rodney with national property followed up on the home inspection service he provided after being in home one year. the original inspection was extremely beneficial and saved a lot of money negotiating price and repairs prior to closing on home. rodney came back and gave some insight and direction on concerns we had. 100% recommend Rodney and this company.

The inspector was on time and did a through job. I met him towards the end and he walked me through all the points of concern.

The inspector showed up early and got right to work. When I arrived he gave me a complete explanation of what he was doing and invited me to watch as he conducted the inspection. I felt that in the interest of time that he should simply do the job and then report back to me his findings. I knew he would be providing a detailed written report, but was also anxious to learn of any significant issues. There were a few minor areas that would require some work, and one more serious problem which he showed me as soon as he had a good idea as to the extent of the issue and what a good course of action would be to get it resolved. The inspector competently and politely answered all of my questions. He treated everyone with respect and courtesy and did a really great job!

Inspector arrived on time and was extremely thorough. He took at least 100 pictures and reviewed all of them with me, including any building codes that have changed since the property was built (even if a stair height had changed by an inch!). Well worth the cost. I hired them based on Angie's List reviews, and you can add me to the list of people who would recommend this company to anyone!

National Property Inspections did exactly what their name says. Inspect the property, however they went above and beyond. David Cronauer was our inspector and he showed up earlier than scheduled and started on his work. He showed that he cared and not only educate us but make sure we understand the property. He inspected every square inch of the house from top to bottom. He also checked the mechanics of the house such as A/C and stove. He even inspected things I didn't think would matter such as locks on windows and even told us about some cosmetic problems that we might have originally missed. After he was done, he showed us pictures and went into details about everything that he found wrong or could possible pose a problem in the future. Overall the process took 2 1/2 hours and I felt it was a great price for the quality of work. I feel like I'm not a better consumer and feel more knowledgeable about the property. I would defiantly use National Property Inspections again and recommend to anyone.

The inspector was already there at the house when I showed up. He introduce himself and explained the service he was going to provide and explained the process. Afterwards, he asked what we expected to get out of the inspection, what was important to us an asked if there were any areas in the home that we were concerned with. He explained that he would have the report to us no later that that evening. I honestly thought that I would get it the next day but no, it was in my e-mail by 9pm, all 28 pages. I never heard "I can't or I'm not suppose to do that nor did I see him slow down. Very professional. I would seek their services again and would recommend them. To Mr. Cronauer, Job well done! Thank you.

This is our fourth home but our first new construction home. We have always had our homes inspected prior to purchase. Our appointment was for 1:00 pm. We had arrived five to ten minutes early at the property, Rodney was already there. He was sitting in his truck waiting for us. While he waited for us to show, he performed the exterior inspection before we got there. He spent roughly three and a half hours with us. We feel he preformed a VERY through inspection. He answered every single question we had, no matter how big or small. He went into great detail explaining what he did and went over the entire inspection with us. There were several things to be "discussed" with the builder that needs to be fixed. He took detailed pictures to show the problem ares. He said he could come back and see if they fixed everything on the inspection report for a small fee - or we could save the money and do it ourselves. Which we would be able to do with the before pictures and the inspection report. He explained everything so clear and with great detail. You would not believe the things that a home inspection finds.....things we never thought to look for. We are very grateful for the amount of time and effort Rodeny Twyford spent with us. We will use Rodeny again on our next home inspection. And we will definitely tell everyone we know to use him too.

Inspector arrived a few minutes prior to the scheduled time and began reviewing outside areas after introducing himself. He showed consideration for our time and stayed on task at all times. After finishing his work he spent several minutes detailing his findings, explaining the issue and what the proper expectation should be. Total time felt reasonable considering the amount of information he provided.

Had a great experience. Great to work with. Inspector was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

THANK YOU ANGIE'S LIST!! My boyfriend and I are brand new to Angie's List and this was the first person we have hired because of it. I am thrilled with the work Rodney provided for us. He not only did a thorough inspection of our soon-to-be new (and first!) home, but he was efficient, professional, and didn't mind me following him around with a notebook asking nit-picky questions. He understood my questions and concerns and addressed them clearly, explaining all the details. This will be our first house and we are not the handiest people around...so Rodney was quick to explain where to get products, how to fix things, etc. He pointed out everything from minor code issues, to cosmetic needs as well as some major issues like the deck/patio and how it was supported. I can not express how happy I was with his work. He was actually about 30 minutes EARLY to our appointment too! He's a great guy, very personable and professional. I would recommend him to anyone and will DEFINITELY be using him in the future.

He was very thorough. I only found one discrepancy in the actual report. Everything else was very detailed and very good.

A lot of other companies didn't even call me back. They also did the work for me. They seemed very thorough. The guy who came out, walked around in the socks to get the ideas of what the floor felt like and those kind of things stood out. He was thorough in all aspects of inspection. They were comparable with everybody else in the area. The guy was Rodney Twyford. So far, he hasn't pointed out anything. I liked the fact that he stuck to his procedure to check the water line. He came out the next day to check it.
