David was fantastic and very in-depth with his explanations. He caught things such as code violations and small things we would of missed on our own. I highly recommend him.

Home inspector was James Comeaux Termite inspector was Andrew Aquirre Both inspectors were very knowledgeable and efficient . Current conditions and future potential issues were thoroughly explained and discussed. All questions were answered completely. Very good value for the price.

The gentleman who helped me was named James. He arrived on time and began the inspection. I met him at the home. He was extremely thorough inspecting every aspect of the home taking pictures and writing notes. Periodically he would address me regarding some issues he found as he progressed with his inspection. I had work to do so while he did his thing I did mine. It is a very long process so if you are going to be present have something to do. After a long time he spoke with me explained in detail the things he found that needed to be addressed with the builder. The first thing being there was no doorbell outside! It?s funny since it is a newly built home this wasn?t on my radar at all for things to look for. Can you imagine moving in only to find out it was hooked up inside, but outside there wasn?t one? Anyway, James was incredibly knowledgable and carefully explained the things he found that needed to be addressed showing me pictures on his laptop. What I appreciated most was that he explained everything to me with respect and never once talked down to me like I was a dumb female who wouldn?t get it. Sadly, I have come across men who believe that they have to do that for a woman to understand things that she isn?t knowledgable about. This was NOT the case with James. He was amazing at explaining everything and answered each of my questions. He also explained according to code why the item needed to be addressed and what could potentially happen if it wasn?t. He found several important items that need to be fixed that I would have taken for granted or never known about if it hadn?t been inspected--especially things in the attic. He found many things that would have been serious trouble down the road. I am so glad I went ahead and did an inspection on this new home because I almost didn?t. It was the best $350 I ever spent!

Excellent inspection company! Professional, completely through, courteous and very knowledgeable in all areas. Highly recommend them. I had questions and concerns about the house I was interested in. After the inspection was done and all my questions were answered and recommendations made ,I felt confident that I was making the right decision purchasing the home. The 2 inspectors ( one did termite inspection only) were very nice and full of information. I cannot say enough about this exceptional company. They are number 1 for a reason! I so appreciate the great job they did. Even my realtor was impressed!

This was just a fantastic company to work with. The inspectors were knowledgable and professional. Our home inspector arrived earlier than the scheduled time and was thorough with the inspection. He took his time to explain what he found and answered all of our questions. Super pleased with the work done. The pest inspector was equally great. He thoroughly checked the home inside and out during his inspection. The follow up from Rodney was just as great. The offer for a limited free home warranty was a pleasant surprise. All in all this was a great experience and I would definitely recommend using this company for your home inspection needs.

These guys were great. Professional courteous and comprehensive. Their report was very well structured and inspection was very detailed. I'll definitively recommend to others; I think the price is just for the worked performed. The only suggestion I'll give the vendor is that a re-inspection should not be the same price as the full inspection; for the simple reason that there is not reason to re-do a full inspection, only to go over items that failed the initial one, or new completed items that might not have been ready for inspection the first time. That was our case as we wanted NPI to perform a pre-finish inspection in our new construction to catch issues or items that the builder might have to address before finishing the project. We wanted to request a re-inspection after the builder finished, but being prompted with the same price as the original inspection we decided to decline as we did not find it fair. Not to take the above comment wrong, the inspection performed was great, and it did help us with several issues with our builder. They also were great on accommodating to our schedule. We have to postpone our original appointment and they were very responsive even with short notice to provide an alternate schedule. Thank you NPI

Rodney did a very thorough job. Very punctual, very friendly and has excellent communication. He has walked hand in hand with me on the inspection process on my home and has worked with me with the foreman as well. I would highly recommend him and his services.

From the initial call, to the morning of the inspection everything was very smooth, we were able to sign contract online as well as make payment. Our inspector was Rodney, he was very courteous and professional and also seemed to be very knowledgeable - he left no stone unturned and was extremely thorough. He documented the whole inspection with digital images and at the end explained in great detail his observations, which were precise and easy to understand. He furnished his report the same day, receiving it early evening - the actual report is also very thorough adding circles, arrows and pointers to highlight some of the items that needed our attention. In addition to the service that was provided - he explained how his three month warranty worked and how we would be updated monthly if any of our appliances are issued a recall. Overall i was very impressed with the service that Rodney provided and would certainly not hesitate to use him again and also recommend to others.

Our new home warranty is about to expire so I hired a professional inspector to ensure any work would be done by the builder. Rodney (who is also the owner) was FANTASTIC. We had used another company the first time around during the construction of the home and I wish I would have used Rodney and his company instead. Rodney spent a very large amount of time in the home checking every corner and looking at every aspect of the home. He cheerfully listened to all of my questions and concerns and gave me very detailed responses to each of them. The report was sent the same day and I have already sent it off to the builder for review. I also feel that if anything came up from the builder, Rodney would easily answer any questions they may have If you need any type of inspections to be done. Call Rodney. He really knows what he is doing and he is very detailed in his work.

Rodney was excellent, I would highly recommend. He was even a few minutes early for the appointment and got to work right away. Upon completion I received a detailed report with high quality pictures within a few hours post the inspection. Overall extremely satisfied.

This isn't the first time I've used NPI. I find there services to be excellent and the reports well written and laid out. I know that they take their time to inspect the home and property and I as the consumer didn't feel rushed. After the inspection is done inspector takes the time to explain what is deficient or lacking and provide solutions if possible on how to fix the deficiency. They also provided feedback on what was done well and what needs to be brought up to code since the home was built. Within 24hrs after an in home inspection you are e-mailed a copy of the report with digital photos and arrows pointing to suspect areas that need to be addressed. Even a year after I had my inspection I've come back to my report to track progress on what repairs I've done. I feel confident in the quality work done by the inspector and feel it worth the cost. If I purchase another home in the future I will definitely use NPI again.

Dave did a really professional job and I highly recommend him for any home inspection. He identified several issues that needed to be corrected prior to the dry wall being installed.

David was on time and extremely thorough. He took lots of pictures and spent plenty of time explaining everything to us. He was vary knowledgeable. He uncovered some electrical problems that could have caused a serious a safety issues. If you buy a property outside city limits a good inspector is critical due to the lack of permits and building code enforcement.

When David was finished inspecting the house he showed us the pictures he took and explained each one. We will be sure to use him again if we need another inspection.

He started outside at 8:00am then moved into the house to finish up in the interior. Rodney then displayed the pictures and began to explain in detail his findings along with information about what was in code for Bexar county and City of San Antonio. He also went over when the house was built and what is current code, recommending some updates if we wanted. He covered things we had not even noticed even though we checked and looked very hard. Excellent detailed and professional level of work! I highly recommend National Property Inspection and Rodney Twyford to anyone looking for a true, accurate and thorough inspection.

David did a fantastic job and identified things that were immediately corrected by the builder. I am very happy with the work done by David and would highly recommend National Property Inspectors. David was right on time and allowed the builder to do the concrete pour the same day saving several days on the construction schedule.

Very happy with the work performed, the report and the professionalism of the company. - They were on time, wanted to know my main concerns, addressed my concerns, explained the findings and sent the report in a timely manner. I will use them in the future if I need another inspection performed. ----- update - I purchased the house based on their verbal information that the house did not have knob and tube wiring. they confirmed it was all romex wiring.... - after I closed on the house -- the contractor found knob and tube wiring. cost me a fortune to rewire the house. - when I called the owner of the inspection company and asked him to turn in a claim to his errors and omissions insurance carrier - he refused. I explained I would not have purchased the house OR I would have subtracted the cost to rewire the house from the sales price. He told me it was not their job to move the insulation in the attic to see the wiring. - that was my main concern with the house and why I asked for an inspection. - would never recommend this business as their information, stated to my face, did not turn out to be correct. cost 1000's to rewire the house.

Rodney completed a home inspection for my new house and I couldn't be happier with his knowledge and professionalism. He was thorough and explained everything in details in terms we could understand.

The inspection was done by Rodney and he was great. Very thorough and even after telling me he probably wouldn't talk much during the process he still explained just about everything to me during the inspection. He followed up with a comprehensive inspection summary with detailed, colored pictures the same day as the inspection.

I am very satisfied with NPI during the inspection. He seemed thorough. Took multiple pictures and notes. He went over what he saw. Asked me if I had any concerns, what I've seen or noticed. He identified numerous items that I would not have known as issues. Luckily non were a major concern but things that I do need to have the builder address before our 1 year warranty expires. I paid less with a different company when I had the house initially looked at by a different company. BUT paying more was definitely worth it. I received more than what I thought I would be paying for. David inspected everything and noticed things that I never noticed, and I have an eagle's eye. Good company, worked with my crazy schedule for the appointment. But since the company is good and professional, be sure to schedule at least a week in advance.
