My Repairman

Wife informed me that the washing machine wasn't draining after the rinse cycle. I thought it could be the washing machine lid switch. I tried to get it to work, with no avail. So I signed on Angie's list and contacted My repairman. They indicated that they could come out between 11-3 today, however they contacted me around 10:00 and said that they were on the way. In the interim, i played around with the lid switch a little more and got the machine to work, that is why I knew there and then that it was the lid switch. They replaced it and walla, everything is good now.

The job went as quoted. They were on time, they were very knowledgeable and they were able to fix the appliance on the first visit because they had the right part with them. That was a nice advantage over the others. That was the second time I used them. I found them the first time on Angie's List.

The business could have returned the phone callls better.

My Repairman was very quick & efficient. For one who has been in the customer service business for many years, this company gets 10 out of 10! They told me exactly what was wrong and fixed it promptly. They did not have to order any parts as they had the part already in their van! Thumbs up for them! I would not hesitate to use them again or refer them out!

Not much to tell. They showed up, did the work, took the check, and left.

I called the my repairman office to schedule a service call/estimate, the girl answered promply and was very nice, she schedule my estimate for the following day and said it would be a $45.00 service call, I told her that was fine. The following day I recieved a call from a blocked number, i answered and it was the technician, he said his name was george and he was going to be at my home in 20 - 30 minutes, I told him that was fine. He arrived at my home and my wife was there , I arrived a few minutes later and they already got to work, I notice George had some grime on his hands from something he was looking at. I introduced myself and as I did George reached into my cabinets behind him and grabbed a Towel from my home not one from his truck or a paper towel and wiped it off as he was saying no not dust, it was slug from the drain in the wall. I thought to my self...WOW just make your self at home with my towels....as his helper looked at the machine from the front access panel listening for the noise George the lead guy just sat there and told him what to look for,,,,guess he was training him...his name was George also.....he listened and told me hopefully its not the bearing...that's a waste of money to fix...you would be better off replacing the unit....as they continued to look at the washing machine George the trainee got behind the unit and removed the cove to check the belt and the pulley....George the tech said i can replace the pulley and that might fix the noise but not for sure...maybe a 70% chance...he said its not the motor so its the pulley or the bearing,,,,I asked him how much for the pulley...he said maybe $170 dollars....I told him I did not see wasting a $170 dollars on something he was not sure was the problem....He in turn said as they started to close up all the panels they removed that I should expect to pay at least 200 for repairs to this type of unit...he explained that it is the Mercedes of appliances, I should buy a cheaper unit if I want it repaired for less...I handed him the check for the $45 dollar service /estimate call and waled them to the door....Not a company I would recommend...He wanted to fix something that he was not sure was the problem...not good business....at least I would think so....My repairman

They came out promptly and diagnosed the problem. The part had to be ordered. Within a week I was called that the part had arrived and they scheduled an appointment on a Saturday. My refrigerator is working beautifully. Excellent Service. Highly recommend.

I found My Repairman through Angie's List. They answered right away and set up the appointment immediately, even offering to come a day or two early if they got any availabilities. The repairman called when he was about 30 minutes away, and showed up right after that. In all, it was a good experience. I would use them again and would recommend them to family and neighbors.

My 12-yr old Kitchen Aid washing machine wouldn't drain. I quickly exhausted my knowledge of what might be wrong so jumped on Angie's List as a first-time user to see what I could find. Mr Repairman has excellent ratings across the board and lots of good comment. I decided that's what I wanted so called them. The receptionist was very quick to answer, very polite and knowledgeable as I explained what the problems was. She set up an appointment for the next day but promised to contact one of the servicemen in the field and see if anyone would be able to make it today. Shortly after hanging up, she called back and said one of the servicemen was just finishing up in the area and could be right over. George, the serviceman, called and said he could be at my house in about 20 minutes and spent some time asking about my problem. He showed up very quickly and was polite, very well versed in what he was doing. He quickly fixed the problem and returned everything to the way he found it. Worth every penny for the prompt and efficient service response and actions I was quite impressed. We talked for a while about servicing that I could do myself as preventive maintenance not just on the washer and dryer but my refrigerator, AC and dishwasher as well. I think we have found a service provider that we can use for quite a while to come. All the ratings and comments were well justified.

It went very well. After I cleaned the vent the dryer was fixed and there was no need to repair it.

Called My Repairman based upon Angie's List. They showed up promptly the next day, checked things out and restarted the refrigerator. To my surprise it worked. However, the repairman indicated it might not continue and instructed me in how to check if the thermostat was the problem. Sure enough it ran for less that one day, I did the thermostat check and it still did not work. I called My Repairman and the next day they showed up with the correct compressor and all the necessary tools for installation and in no time had the repair completed and all continues to go well.

He was very good. I got him off Angie’s list. He was reasonable. He was knowledgeable, quick, and he fixed the problem. I rate him high overall, and I will use him again in the future.

The guys came out one day to check on the dryer and freezer. They fixed the gasket on the freezer so that the door was properly sealed and would not leak cold air. The next day they came back and installed the heating element on the dryer. They were fast and courteous.

When I called, they offered to come out that same day to repair my oven. They were even able to diagnose my problem over the phone, which meant that the repairman had the correct part with him when he came to my home. George was very polite and respectful. He did his work quickly, did not leave any mess behind, and took precautions to make sure he didn't damage my cabinetry when he took the oven apart. The bulk of what I spent was for parts- their rate for labor is reasonable and a good value.

The washer is fixed. The repairman and dispatcher were very professional and nice. I liked the 90 day warranty with it.

When our oven went out I called My Repairman and George, the owner of the company, came out the next day. He checked out the oven and found that the control board had gone out. He said it would have to be ordered and shipped to him from out of town. After about two weeks, including delays attributed to the supplier, the parts finally arrived and were installed. The oven now works like new and we are pleased with the results. George was very pleasant to work with and he and his assistant performed the repair in a very workman like manner.

Just moved to Boerne, TX. Joined Angie's list and looked for person to repair leaking washing machine. Call "My Repairman" as they were the top rated folks; operator answered immediately and scheduled appointment for next day. I was away but sister-in-law let him in; fixed the problem immediately (legs on machine were not level causing leaking!!). Also fixed/aligned front loader door. While there looked over dryer and realized the hookup was unsafe and fixed that. All done for $65 ($10 coupon for first time user was nice. Sister-in-law said he was right on time; very professional and quick to solve the problem. Returned home next day and found washer repaired, dryer safe to operate and everything back in place better than I left it. Big believer in "My Repairman" and Angie's List. Use them both and you will be very happy.

The office set up an appt time frame and they called when he was on his way. He showed up at the time expected. The washer wasn't agitating. He knew just what the problem was, had the part, gave a quote, and fixed it within 10 minutes and I was back in business!

He showed up in the early in the "window" time he had given me. He diagnosed the problem and gave me several options for the repair. He also notice that the inner-workings of the fridge were very dusty and dirty. He vacuumed the entire system at no extra charge. I will be calling him annually to "spring clean" my appliances and for any repairs that need to be done. He is very knowledgeable about appliances and gives a very fair price to his customers.

Contacted My Repairman and left a voice message for them to contact me. The next morning they promptly called to schedule an appointment. They arrived on time and quickly repaired the oven. The repairman was polite.

There were two people that came out. They were very friendly, very professional, and very informative. They had a card with them and introduced themselves. They were helpful in talking about what the problem was and what could have created the problem. They made some recommendations regarding detergent and other things like that. Their price ended up being a little more than what we had expected. They did great work and they did not try to push anything on us.

Fantastic service from My Repairman. The lady who answered the phone told me exactly when to expect them and let me know the cost upfront for them just to come to house. I was fine with that. If I chose to use them, that cost gets rolled into repair costs. Alex called before coming over and showed up soon after. He was extremely professional and helped to explain what was wrong with washer. Didn't try to sell me any BS (mom home sick with sick child, easy target) and quoted a very, very fair price. I expected it to cost quite a bit more. Luckily he had the part needed so he didn't need to come back at a later time and fixed it rather quickly. Perfect since I needed to do laundry rather badly. Alex was great! I would not only recommend My Repairman, but Alex specifically, as he was as professional and honest as they come. Thank you so much!

He was great. His name was George Estrada. I got him off Angie's List. I was very happy with him. I had a problem with my 2 or 3 year old refrigerator. There was something that was making a very high pitched sound. He practically knew what it was just by me explaining it over the phone and without even having to really get into the refrigerator. He came out and we tried a couple of different things. He was trying to save me money. We turned off the ice maker. He had an idea that it may be the ice maker fan. We turned off the ice maker fan one time to see if that was doing it and then we turned off the ice maker itself to see if it was that. We wanted to see if it was the motor or the fan. He did two trips out here and he only charged me a one-trip charge. He was very reasonably priced. He was very courteous. There were two of them that came out and while they were behind the refrigerator they told me that it needed to be cleaned. I got the vacuum cleaner out and they were nice enough to clean it out for me. We determined after two trips that it was the fan. We ordered it, he installed it, and it was fine. I was very impressed with him. They were very reasonable. When they said they were going to be here, they were here. They were really nice. I didn't think the price was bad. The one-trip charge cost me $45.00 and it was included in the total cost.
